Negative experience: This is a terrible facility in the summer. For the amount they charge there is no AC, they don't open any doors, and the sun shines right into the courts. This place is run by cheapskate who only care about their bottom line, and not for the players who sweat to death playing here. Highly do not recommend there are far better facilities.

Positive experience: Great place to play volleyball with your friends!! Unbearably hot especially during the summer, would love it if AC was installed.

Positive experience: I come here for Dome Club, and enjoy it. Sometimes there are a lot of shoes around and kind of messy depending on what time I come at. It gets pretty loud, but that is understandable as there are many tourneys here. Overall, I think it is a really good location.

Fantastic experience: Volleydome has the best volleyball courts in Calgary. It has 12 courts and they are so good. Only problem is the place is a bit loud, especially in middle courts, can't blame the court though

Negative experience: Very disappointing. This facility may be a great spot for volleyball it is definitely NOT for suited for pickleball. The floors are to soft to make the game enjoyable. Will not be back.

Negative experience: Although very well lit and spacious this place is not designed for pickleball. The floor in the court we played in (10) is soft with several dead spots, no bounce.

Negative experience: Not the best place to play pickleball. Despite the clean, brightly lit facility, the pickleball courts fall short. The floor is not a hardcourt and the seams make the bounces extremely unpredictable.

Negative experience: Warning to everyone: My car was targeted and vandalized in their parking lot. Shockingly, there are no surveillance cameras. The staff's lack of concern amplifies the issue. Exercise caution and think twice before choosing this place – your safety might be at risk.

Positive experience: Very active spot. Yes, as the name implies, mostly Volleyball courts setup throughout. We attend for a basketball clinic and it works out well. Lots of parking front and back. The facility is kept pretty clean.

Positive experience: I went there for my kids volleyball tournament and it was so roomy, Clean, spacious , iv enjoyed it

Positive experience: Coach of my son is not good. She doesn’t teach the technique or never plays with kids. Just to stand there doesn’t make her a coach. A substitute for different place was there and in one day he really teach and guide the game.

Positive experience: Great place for volleyball tournaments. Clear courts, and the nets help keep the ball inside some of the courts. It does get very loud in there with all the courts going at once. Seating is OK. Some bleachers are very tall to climb up, especially if you need back support. Metal bleachers are on some courts too. Parking is good, if you go early in the day and don't leave. It would be nice if there was a vending machine or 2, to offer some snacks and drinks. There is 1 water fountain. The bathrooms smell terrible.

Positive experience: We were kind of excited for my son's club basketball team to play here as we hadn't been since they moved to the new location. Were sorely disappointed to be honest. Firstly, our son's game was double booked on a Sunday evening and was last minute shuffled to a 9pm game on the Monday of a long weekend. No big deal originally, it is what it is. Once inside, it was insanely hot and humid; felt like next to no air flow. The game was scheduled from 9-10pm (closing time). With literally 1:46 left in the game, and being 10:01pm, a worker came over and demanded the game to stop. After a few minutes of the officials trying to negotiate with the worker (it now being 10:06pm), it was clear the worker was refusing to let these kids play the remaining two minutes. In the amount of time it took for the worker to walk back to the front, the game could have finished. To say these kids were disappointed was an understatement (these kids were early teens); how unprofessional and unfortunate. While walking out, another parent went to ask the worker why...his response was "I don't want to stay here until midnight". This was such an exaggerated and dramatic response. The league officials (and some parents) literally told this guy there were two minutes of play left. Quite disappointing that our fees go to this place, if the workers want to be out the door by 10pm then it should really close by 9:30pm.

I appreciate the variety of leagues and programs offered, from beginner to advanced levels. The prices are reasonable and the quality of instruction is high. The location is easily accessible, with ample parking and clean facilities. Overall, I highly recommend Volleydome Gym for anyone looking to improve their volleyball skills or just have fun with friends.

Fantastic experience: PICKLEBALL: horrible for pickleball. The floor is not the right material therefore the ball has a poor bounce. I give it 5 stars because it is meant for volleyball and It is excellent for volleyball.

Negative experience: A team paying over $800 for a season only to play on courts with dangerous gaps and unsafe floors doesn’t seem right. Expecting more from a dedicated volleyball facility. Have seen some teammates get injured while going down on the floors…

Negative experience: The first location was great. After moving I will never put my kids in any clubs or rec volleyball here ever again. The new location is one giant nightmare. Twice the courts on 1/3 of the parking. Even if you happen to find a spot you cant leave the building as every street and back loading area is lined with cars on both sides, turning everything into unmarked one way roads. Once inside you trudge through 20 feet of wet shoes onto unfinished plywood floors. At least once you find your court (on your own as they are not marked anywhere...) you get to sit in comfort with 20 other people on rolls of foam flooring. Should you be unfortunate enough to need a washroom, prepare to walk and wait as there is one set for a building of 1000 people.

Positive experience: Great place to get the volleyball itch! You can book courts, join a league. Although it is moving to a new location in the new year, the crossiron one has served us well. With the occasionally smell from the nearby dog plant, sweat filled warehouse from all the volleyball grind and summers that are too hot to handle. #morevolleyballalways

Negative experience: Floors aren't even connected at many places. Bathrooms are gross. And there is often a gross smell in and around the building

Positive experience: Had fun playing volleyball here. One of the best and biggest indoor volleyball gym in Calgary housing more than 15 courts. Always clean including washrooms and court areas. Great place. Canucks practices here.

Positive experience: Overall pretty good. The only thing I hope they can do is putting net or some kind of barrier between all courts. Last weekend played and got more than twenty time balls coming from other courts. Annoying!

Fantastic experience: Great Place to come and play. Amazing people as well all in all just a fun time. Classes seem to be flourishing and help you majorly improve as proven from my experiences. Leaving at nighttime there's this smell outside that is borderline disgusting though and I can't seem to pinpoint where it's coming from possible the farms nearby. However it's uncontrollable so I can't blame them.

He wanted us to go to a different court because players with the same race as him wanted the court we have. It would've been okay if he told us nicely but he was soooo rude and didn't even say sorry he was even laughing at us. WOWWW!! The audacity of this person!!!

Positive experience: This place is crazy. So many courts I couldn't believe it. Great place, just a little stressful to take two young kids to watch a game. No complaints at all, just so much going on, but they have it laid out well.

Positive experience: Overall good facility. Good for league nights as well as drop in. This review would have been 5 stars but I question how often they clean their change rooms. I went on a Saturday night for drop in and the change room was really dirty/ messy. Then came back the Sunday afterwards for a league night and it was even worse and looked untouched since the night before! Hopefully this is an isolated incident.
