Fantastic experience: The staff are amazing with kids. My daughter was terrified to try it and couldn’t stop crying. All the coaches were so supportive and encouraging they were able to build up her confidence and she was smiling and having fun in the end! Thank you for being so great with kids!
Positive experience: I'm giving a four star and not a five-star because the bathrooms are always a mess. Toilet paper is typically out, and the floors are gross. Now for the good points: The staff are incredibly nice and good with the kids. There is plenty of parking out front. Fit Set Ninja sends out plenty of emails to keep parents (and ninjas) in the loop on future events and promotions.

Fantastic experience: My son has done the Ninja and Tricking classes - both are excellent. Hands on, supportive coaching, teaching skills while keeping things fun. My son loves it and wants to do parkour too.

Fantastic experience: Had a great first experience here during adult open gym. The facility is well equipped and has something for every level of experience. The price was very reasonable for a 2hr open gym. The staff were all friendly, helpful and polite. Isaiah and Abdullah took the time to make sure we knew where and how to use all the equipment safely. Would definitely return again in the future. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: We celebrated my son’s 6th birthday there. It was our first time and all of the kids loved it. They party room already had some birthday decorations (table cloth and birthday sign) and they provided anything else you would need like plates and cutlery. Our lead instruction, Isaiah, was amazing with the kids (there was 15 of them). He was super patient, helpful and encouraging. Would definitely recommend this place if your looking to host a birthday party. So much fun was had!!

Negative experience: Coming in for a birthday party definitely not what I expected... the equipment is fine the kids liked it.. but what they call party room is ridiculous especially for what you pay for the party... they aren't rooms they are office dividers we were right by the door so everyone in there was walking right threw our table and food going to there tables or to the bathroom.. not happy about that at all... also the smell in the back where the "rooms" are smells to me it's smells moldy. Not impressed with what was provided for the price paid!.

Negative experience: I am NOT HAPPY. What they call a “party room” is an open cubical. There’s 3 other “rooms” all of which have to walk through ours (2) to get out to the ninja course area. Having children with birthdays in the winter I have booked many party rooms at many different places all over the city and this is by far the worst. I was never informed of their set up. When you book a room you expect a room. Specially when you pay $362. Pictures of their set up should be posted on the website…parents need to be informed of what they are paying for. Also, don’t bother with the instructor lead…the explaining cuts into way too much of their playtime. You only have a certain amount of free time. 1/2 of that is spent listing to a speech on how to climb.

Positive experience: We celebrated our child's birthday here last weekend, initially booking the $345 party package (1 hour 45 minutes, max 25 guests). We upgraded to the $467 option for what was advertised as accommodating up to 40 people (including participants and spectators) and extending the party to 2 hours. However, the "upgrade" disappointingly added only 15 minutes and no other benefits—the participant cap remained at 10, which was not clearly stated online. Instead of a private room, our party was squeezed into a noisy corner of the parkour area. After the party, we were hit with an additional $185 fee for having 17 children, bringing our total to $652 for just over an hour of play, a half-hour for cake, and a brief final activity. Given these issues, we are unlikely to book here again. On the bright side, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the equipment and had a great time. A special shoutout to instructor Karter, who was fantastic and a big hit with the kids.

Negative experience: By far the worst experience ever! We joined the Homeschool program during the pandemic and only did half… I pulled my kids out due to the unacceptable behaviour of your instructor Kody. Kody was rude to my kids and made them feel uncomfortable. I’ve homeschooled them since day one and I know their character is teachable, humble, quiet, shy, and introverted. I’ve had other instructors from different sports and events compliment how well they listen to direction, how teachable, respectful, kind and considerate of others they are. Kody straight up made fun of my kids and bullied them! Which is unexplainable from an adult! Adults instructing other peoples kids should have emotional self control and self awareness at the very least. I get it he’s a jerk because of his divorce but he doesn’t need to take it out on kids! I am neighbours with one of your old instructors who quit because of Kody as well. He’s unfit to work with kids until he gets therapy for his mental health issues.

Fantastic experience: My kids' first time there (6 & 8yo) for a week for half days. Only prior experience was when Fitset Ninja visited their school. My younger one is more active than the older one and although the latter was hesitant at first, they both had a lot of fun. My young one was happy to experience something so unique and my older one was proud of herself as she saw herself getting better at the obstacles. Raises confidence no matter what - definitely recommend to do multiple days for the kids to see their own progress and develop confidence. Great energetic and friendly staff. Thank you!

Negative experience: First time here to host my son's birthday party, they told me i can come 15 mins before my appointment to set up the room and get ready. However, when I arrived with birthday cake, decorations and food, they told me to wait in the lobby as the room was not ready yet due to the previous party still there. I did not get in to the party area till 5 mins after my appointment started. All of my guests arrived 10 mins as suggested by Fitset Ninja so the lobby was chaotic. Finally we all settled down and the kids finally go out to have fun... they only play for 30 mins then apparently " its time for food". I asked the party host what is going on, he said we are running behind schedule and we need to cut cakes now, after cut cakes we will have another 15 mins to play. After the kids had their pizza, fruit and cut cakes, 530pm or so. I told the host the kids ready for round 2. He brought the kids out to play but came back less than 10 mins said we ran out of time. I check the time, my schedule was supposed to be 4pm to 545pm but we literally got kicked out from the gym to the party area by 445 as we started late due to party room was dirty from the previous party. I asked the front desk as shouldn't you guys make up for my time due to party room delay. They said no as that's not fair for the next party. Then How is it fair for me? I paid full price for the birthday party package and did not get my time worth. I do not recommend coming here for birthday.

Negative experience: Called ahead of time, they said nothing about an event on fathers day or it being booked but came in on father's day and they lady at the desk was very rude and just said sorry we're all booked up for an event, and the place just looked awful and was quite empty.. Fantastic experience: Went here for my son's birthday party with a huge group (31 kids) and it was great! The staff were excellent and very helpful and great with the kids. It was hard to get the kids to have a snack for a moment because they just wanted to do the obstacles the whole time.

Fantastic experience: We brought our daughter and our 3 nephews here to get out of the house and do something fun as a family. The younger ones felt overwhelmed at first and felt they couldn’t do anything and got very discouraged. Abdullah noticed my daughter crying and came over to help. He was so kind and patient and really helped to build up her confidence and our 3 nephews too. He made it fun and is a fabulous teacher. Positive experience: Kids had a lot of fun. But I do recommend booking your spot for the open floor. I was bringing 10 kids to play for my sons birthday, and they were all booked up. I spoke with the supervisor, and he kindly helped up out with a time slot.

Fantastic experience: Great venue for the kids to go and try out some ninja warriors style gymnastics. My son enjoyed his birthday party there and the venue was large enough for the kids to spend their time in there. Friendly staff and ready to answer questions even though the place was so busy. Parking might be a bit of an issue but overall, a fun place for kids.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I were on vacation to Edmonton over the holidays and needed a little workout in between festivities. We decided to try out Fitset Ninja which did not disappoint. Quite the opposite, we were blown away by the incredible variety of fun activities and most notably by the brilliant help and coaching by one of their staff (who competes nationally himself). Can’t wait to return next year when we are back in Edmonton.

Fantastic experience: We had our son's 9th birthday party here and I am SO glad we found this gem!! The coach took the kids through the equipment and seriously was amazing at cheering the kids on, teaching them how to work the equipment and encouraging them to try their best. All the kids had an absolute blast and every single child asked to go back soon. The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. Fantastic experience: My child has been going to 2 classes a week for 1 month now. The confidence in himself, the mental and physical challenges he has overcome in such a short amount of time is amazing and empowering. Between wed and mon something he couldn't do wed he did on the next monday. It was amazing to witness this progress.

Negative experience: Drove 50 mins so my son could try this place out to potentially book his Birthday party there. We get there and find out that is warrior cup going on so everything else was closed and to be able to try anything I would have had to register him Monday to Friday for classes or bring him back any time between Monday to Sat in the morning for a trail run, but unfortunately I'm like most parents and work during the day and he goes to school. I was surprised they didn't have drop in classes or just drop in period. It was very unfortunate because my son was really excited to try the place out waking me up a 7 am to go when according to social apps say they open at 1pm Sunday

We host our annual Fitset Cup competition every September and often host competitions for our ninjas to compete and showcase their skill and hard work. I will ensure that more information about open gym closures will be better communicated in the future, I am so sorry again. Fantastic experience: Jonathan and Alexis were incredibly accommodating and extremely friendly, even in a huge time crunch. Jonathan was very involved and fun with instructing us how to use the equipment, and the facility had a lot of really cool stuff. 10/10 will be back! :)

Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if I could. We were here for a bday party today and was pretty much confined in the party room. The kids got roughly 45 mins in the gym area then went into the party room to eat pizza and cake. After eating, some of the kids went out to the gym area and kept getting sent back to the room.The staff kept telling them they weren't allowed to go out and play until 2:45 when the party host is done. However around 2:35ish the staff kept rushing us to clean up and told us we had to leave the room and gym area by 2:45. The party hosts had booked from 1pm-3pm but the kids didn't even get to play during the whole time. This place is poorly run, would not recommend this place to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Rilla, along with the management team at Fit Set Ninja and staff are nothing short of amazing. I work in schools and help support families that are faced with a variety of challenges so that their kids can engage in activities. Through all the organizations that I have reached out to for support, I can confidently say that the FitSet team is one of the most kind, generous and supportive group of people that I have connected with. Positive experience: Took the kids to free-gym to burn some energy and try something new. They had so much fun and keep asking to go back! Only 4 stars because the kids were frustrated when they were there that they kept getting asked to move so the birthday parties could have the equipment they were using. Don't think free gym and birthday parties should be scheduled at the same time.

Positive experience: The owners and staff have huge pride in this facility and they continue to build a world class experience. Great for everyone to get fit, stay fit, and to challenge themselves. ONE huge negative is the cancellation policy. Given how busy everyone is please read their policy ... extra$25 to cancel within last 7 days of the month. Almost like a hidden fee and it left a very sour taste after an otherwise awesome experience!
Fantastic experience: Was really impressed with the supportive environment of the adult class. The lead coach of the class,Julie, had great energy, was able to make accommodations for injuries or limitations and was encouraging without being aggressive or overbearing. Definitely a fun way to get active!

Negative experience: I wish I could give this place a zero because my child was invited for a birthday party and I gave the consent. Unfortunately, she got a large rug burn on her elbow and recently in pain. Some of the obstacles are hard to do which got my daughter injured. For me I dont recommend this place unless you want to get injured or hurt. This place is typically for adults.

With the nature of Ninja activities, we do explain and ask participants to understand possible risks associated with the sport and equipment. As such, all our staff are trained in First-Aid to ensure accidents may be addressed safely and appropriately. Our coaches are diligent and open to adapt exercises according to our students level and needs as well. With over 650 kids in our weekly programming from ages 5-13, we work hard to create a safe, fun, and thriving environment for them to be challenged and to grow. Fantastic experience: My daughter just loved the Fitset Ninja visit at her school visit and she just HAD to attend their summer camp! It was amazing!! Lots of growth mindset and talks on determination, resilience, etc. absolutely love the staff who work there! They are so kind, great with kids and helpful giving strategies and tips to the kids to develop the skills and accomplish the obstacles. We just had my daughter’s birthday party there today and, again, it was INCREDIBLE!! Great staff, nice party rooms and amazing support for the kids learn the obstacles. I received so many compliments from parents on how much fun their child had. I even think the adults at the had as much fun, if not more than the kids!!

Positive experience: Fitset ninja is a great gym, staff are friendly and always there to help and teach you new things. Only important thing is that they never push their mats together and I have injured my ankles 3 times due to that. Please be aware!

Fantastic experience: The staff are so friendly. I was here for a birthday party. I got a taste of the fun that could be had here. My intentions are to sign my kids up for some sort of package that allows them a chance to swing by and burn some sugar.

Fantastic experience: My son has been enrolled for a year now and loves it. He mentions how much fun he has during class and how great his instructors are. He competed this past weekend and they helped him through the entire thing and helped bring up his confidence when he was having difficulty.

Negative experience: Sorry, my visit there was not working, even it was empty. I would come with my nephews, at Thuesday afternoon 4.30 pm, I am from Germany, was there three times in the Show, and would train my nephews, but nobody was , interessing about people, they are not in the kidscourse there, eben it was empty. The woman at the reception, was Not helpfull, a little bit arrogant (sorry). I would'nt come back, because I know another Ninja Gym place in Edmonton, the City fit Shop, they are friendly and helpfull and my nephews Go Back there, because everybody was helpfull and nice..
Hi Ralf, we only offer open gym drop in on certain days and times of the week. This ensures that we have availability during the week to offer classes, camps, and more without those experiences getting too crowded with drop in attendees. Positive experience: Excellent place for kids to burn some energy. Our entire group had a blast. It was difficult to get the kids to leave at the end, and unfortunately that made one staff member quite upset, as he kept rolling his eyes and looking at his co-worker like “get them out” all the parents noticed. So leave immediately after your done. Other than that, the kids had fun.
Fantastic experience: Have attended two parties here and kids have had a great time. I talked to staff about sessions and they were really helpful. Cost seems really reasonable to sign up for sessions.

Fantastic experience: This camp was so worth it. They teach very good values, starting with the “Ninja Mindset”. It promotes a good attitude and not giving up on yourself. My son had an unbelievable time, so much so that we registered him again. He is only 5 and very small for his age, which worried us about his ability to do things, but the staff were very good with encouraging all the kids that they could do it. Definitely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Such a great place if you have a little one that likes to climb and jump of things on the regular. Now they can learn how to jump and fall properly in a safe environment. Also a great way for them to burn off some energy. My little one was pooped after his class.

Fantastic experience: This was our first time at Fitset Ninja. I had my 7 and 9 year old attend their one week afternoon camp and they absolutely loved it, apart from the exhaustion they felt afterwards. I saw how caring, positive and supportive each one of the coaches were towards the children, which is probably why there was such an improvement in all the kids in such a short period of time. In just five days, my kids improved their strength, endurance and agility. I would definitely recommend Fitset Ninja to anyone with children, looking to improve on their fitness and coordination, within a positive environment. Way to go Fitset Ninja Team!!

Positive experience: Cool place for older kids , wouldn't really recommend for kids under 8 . Instructors need to learn more Patience when dealing with kids in a bday party . I get it can be frustrating dealing with them but they are young. Cool place for older kids wouldn't recommend for kids 8 and under .
