Negative experience: Disappointed with Movati's Hygiene Standards in Richmond Hill, Ontario My wife recently visited Movati as a guest and unfortunately contracted a bacterial infection after using the whirlpool. This incident has left us concerned about the gym's commitment to maintaining sanitary conditions. They allow people with full body covered clothes in the whirlpool. I understand that there could be religious reason for full body cover. Nonetheless it is not sanitary for warm water where temperature is perfect for bacteria growth. While we understand accidents can happen, this experience highlights a need for stricter hygiene protocols, especially in areas like whirlpools that are prone to bacterial growth. We hope Movati will take this feedback seriously and implement measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future. I have attached a photo to show the spots that are covering her body from neck down.

Fantastic experience: It’s a beautiful gym, I have been going here for 3 years and I do enjoy it. I heard they were getting reformers and I can’t wait. Definitely would not pick any other gym in Windsor but Movati.

Positive experience: The staff are friendly, the gym is always clean - locker rooms are nice during the day, but a permanent janitor from 4-8 pm in there would be amazing and there is something here for everyone and every age. There are plenty of free classes with a great sauna and steam room. Hard to not smile coming into the gym with Big Nate’s smile and charismatic attitude greeting you every time! Great guy, great staff.

Negative experience: Everything is great but one of the female receptionist at the front desk only selectively greets people. She says hi to everyone, except for people of certain race. I have experienced this at least 20 times personally and am making my judgment based on that. Someone needs to talk to her about this. Movati should look into this. Thank you

Negative experience: One of the staff at Movati Athletic, Windsor, tried to interrupt our privacy in the bath tub and accused us of violating the code of conduct. It seems that only he and the incompetent manager of Movati weren't happy among the whole staff, employees and members. They treated us very badly and they never respected us. I don't accept and will not tolerate this disrespectful behavior. Never recommend this club to anyone, especially those who want to use co-ed acquatic facilities.

I was always was worried about cleanliness and being judged by other gym goers but from the moment I walked into Movati, I could see the difference. Negative experience: My child is regretly enrolled in a swimming lesson at Movati, only to be denied me entry to the pool area. I was never informed of this policy beforehand or else I would not do so. It's disappointing that such a crucial piece of information was not communicated a head of time. This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied with Movati Gym's customer service. I do not like it at all.

Negative experience: The worst place to get personal training! Instead of fixing my problems, they made them worse and even after I stopped the program, I continued to get billed. Forget about customer service! No one gets back to you. I'm still trying to recuperate my money

Negative experience: It has the worst swimming pool ever, nobody cares about the hygiene, people come into the water with their gym clothes they don’t take shower before entering into the pool, one person had so many wounds on his body and they let him in, if you care about your health never use the swimming pool

Fantastic experience: Bahaa is my trainer, and in just 2 months, he has helped me build muscle like never before. I've had over 5 trainers in the last 5 years, but none of them had the expertise that Bahaa possesses. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he is also fun, kind, humble, and a pleasure to spend time with while working out and having fun at the same time.

Fantastic experience: Movati Fitness: On the second last day of a some 1500-mile multi-day trip to Canada, I visited Movati Athletic in Windsor. Instead of my typical Spin Cycle trainer and swim workout, I chose Hot Yoga. Friends of mine have raved about the Hot Yoga experience. The heat, intensity, and perspiration reminded me of cycling in the Arizonan desert. On the trails in Arizona when temperatures are above about 90F, there is no one around, aside from the occasional horse and rider. You basically “own the place.” Though with the dry heat of Arizona, one tends to perspire less than in a Hot Yoga room. The reason being, in dry-heat conditions, the perspiration that does occur is more effective in cooling the body as the moisture evaporates quicker than in more humid environments. In addition, the airflow over the body when cycling aids quicker evaporation. In high-humidity Hot Yoga rooms, added moisture in the air encourages the skin to maintain suppleness and hydration. In addition, the process of steaming cleanses skin from the inside out by encouraging release from the pores. Awaking the next morning I felt particularly energized. I thought, “I feel great, I would like to do Hot Yoga again.” I was in the Temperature Controlled Hot Yoga Studio by 5:45 am for 6:00 am yoga for an hour session directed by one of the excellent Professional Yoga Instructors. Afterward, I asked the great folks at Movati what a good protein shake might be for the final leg of my trip – a long drive back to Wisconsin, USA. “Grab a Lean Green with a shot of espresso,” was the recommendation. Great choice for the 5-hour drive ahead. Thanks Movati, I have discovered my new 2nd favorite sport after cycling – Hot Yoga! Matt Klucha

Negative experience: If you love Starbucks and wear lulu lemon to walk on a stairmaster for an hour. This is the gym for you. Prices are ridiculous, you all should have opened a spa not a gym.

Negative experience: Employers who have no empathy. I don't recommend signing up. They said they were going to find someone for me to take over my membership before signing up. A week in I had to cancel urgently, and theyre still taking money from my account saying that I need to find someone. What a disappointment!

Fantastic experience: Great athletics gym, very clean, pool, sauna and steam room are available and are very enjoyable. After a great work out. The smoothie bar is a great touch which all gyms should have the option to get the protien in your body ASAP. And they taste great! Price point little bit higher, and harder for some that want to enjoy these benefits of the club. But overall great gym!

Negative experience: absolutely horrible when it comes to the safety of their female members. had MULTIPLE instances where a man was being creepy and making me and other women uncomfortable by following us or taking pictures. went to the front desk to report the same people on multiple occasions and they did nothing about it. kept being told that they 'have already had complaints about them' and left it at that. im well aware there's a women's section, however, when we're given such limited equipment, there's been times where ive had to go to the general section. never going back here, even fit4less cares more about our safety. what a joke.

Fantastic experience: Very clean building, great change rooms and showers, Nice staff, big variety of exercise equipment, and an amazing pool and hot tub. There is a separate pool for woman, as well as a woman’s only exercise area. I go here almost every day, and it’s a great place.

Positive experience: I was satisfied with my membership till now. I love taking classes, mostly strength training and cardio. My favourites are Zumba, Steps and 20-20-20. I'm unable to take morning classes due to my working schedule, so I was happy that Movati does offer a range of classes in the evening as well. But, unfortunately, recently they canceled all evening 20-20-20 classes from their schedule. This is not fair to the members who can only take classes in the evening. I'm so disappointed with the current schedule of unfairness.

Negative experience: Be open for 24 hours. Also what happened to the big punching bag? I'm not paying almost $100 a month in a place with 9000 members, for it to take forever to replace 1 punching bag. You expect us all to share the small red one? You must be dreaming. There are a dozen punching bags in the personal training room... no one can be bothered to use one of those as a replacement? Stop being cheap

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to so many gyms.. this one is one of the best I’ve been to. Spacious, clean, and a great layout of equipment. It does get really busy at times, but if you can get past that then this is the place to be. Great women’s area. Nice aesthetic. Tons of options for cardio and stretching. Whole room dedicated to athletic and functional type of training. If I lived in Windsor, I’d definitely choose this gym. Will be back when I’m in Windsor!

Fantastic experience: Movati has many amenities, including cardio and strength equipment, group fitness classes, personal training, a sauna and a smoothie bar. I love going here because of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the well-maintained equipment, and the knowledgeable and supportive trainers. Besides, the various group fitness classes keep my workout exciting and challenging. Overall, it’s a great place to workout and I always leave feeling energized and accomplished.

Negative experience: I used to come to this gym in 2022. I would use the swimming pool during weekdays after work hour. We also would use the daycare and weekend family swim. Surprisingly, after a couple of years we are back. Both me and my wife registered to secure the swimming pool facility. No daycare, anymore! No family swimming, anymore! And the hourse from 4 to 8 pm during weekdays, the pool is not usable for the members, thanks to the high hours allocated for swimming lessons to gain more money for the gym! Apparently the gym directors have decided to gain more money than the members satisfaction. If you look for a gym with all the facilities available anytime you need and if you do not like to face money-extracting managers, don't make Movati your choice!

Fantastic experience: I've been member of many other gyms, Good Life, planet fitness, company work gym.. but Movati is the ultimate... If you train with them you are guaranteed change. Super happy with my results 30 lbs lost in less than a year.. going for another 30 or 40 lbs more to achieve my goal and encounter my old self from 25 years ago. My GYM PHILOSOPHY is: "TRAIN INSANE OR REMAIN THE SAME" THANKS MOVATI...

Negative experience: Go here if you like listening to a bunch of grown men on roids moan and slam weights. If you’re just starting going to the gym I would not recommend this horrible gym the people there like to walk away from a machine and get mad at you when you use it other than that Amazing equipment just horrible membership pricing

Negative experience: SCAM! AVOID! My friend was tricked into signing a 12 month contract when the salesperson seemed to be offering just a free trial. Of course they didn’t explicitly use the words “free trial” but they made it sound like that, and during the pitch made NO MENTION AT ALL of the 12 month contract. The deceit was intentional. No room for discussion whatsoever, canceling seems impossible. I hope they either get some integrity or just go out of business. People’s hard earned money aren’t for you to steal like that.

Negative experience: Awful. Looks fancy at first glance, the gym itself is teriible. Equipment are camped in and there is a big sign saying: MAX CAPACITY 50 PEOPLE. I paid $40 for a one-day pass to try it and been getting spam calls and emails from them after that one day.
