Positive experience: Great gym, could use a few more lockers. Staff are attentive, so far seems to be a relatively respectful place. If you worry about fitting in, don't, very diverse location. Sometimes odours are an issue for me, but maybe that's just gyms in general.

Negative experience: Always homeless people creeping around in the change room, sleeping in showers or massage chairs. Showers never get cleaned, maybe once a week. I might have to call public health or the cops about the bums. Edit: I don’t have social media to talk more about the issues just do something about them.

Positive experience: Nothing bad to say about the gym itself. They could benefit from a better ventilation system as people in here think its ok to not wear deodorant. Honesty it would be better if they enforced a deodorant policy. The place is filled is with the smell of BO. Makes the workout not that enjoyable at all. If I am being completely honest, its absolutely inconsiderate and disgusting for the people who actually practice hygiene to even remotely enjoy their work out. In my opinion if you are coming to a gym to sweat be mindful of the other people who clean themselves and use proper deodorant.

Negative experience: Disappointed with the maintenance at this gym. The cable machine has been broken for over a month and a half with no signs of repair. It's frustrating that essential equipment isn't being fixed in a timely manner. Definitely needs better upkeep.

Negative experience: Customer service here is terrible, employees are rude and aren’t very welcoming at all - are they even doing what you’re paying them to do? Cleanliness of the gym could be improved as well as having employees that care about making their customers feel welcome to have them actually want to come to the gym. Usually doesn’t bother me but its been quite some time now.

Negative experience: This gym is the worst I've ever encountered! The machines have been broken for over a month, and they don't even fix them! Complaining is pointless—they don't even bother to respond properly. I am beyond disappointed with this place. To anyone considering joining, do yourself a favor and find another gym!

Positive experience: An OK fit4less. On the smaller side but the equipment selection is good. The black card area is OK, could use another power rack. Change rooms are pretty nice with good size lockers. Unfortunately it gets pretty overrun with large groups of younger guys / highschoolers in the evenings. Northfield is better.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the state of the equipment . For the past two weeks, one of the key machines has been out of order, and there appears to be no urgency in getting it repaired. As a regular member who relies on this equipment for my workout routine, this has been incredibly frustrating.

Positive experience: It’s got almost everything you would need equipment wise. This location is nicer than most fit4less because it used to be a Good Life. Friendly staff and very clean.

Fantastic experience: This location is perfect; the staff is very welcoming. This gym offers great equipment, and the washrooms are always clean when I go there. There is a lot of equipment; yes, at times it gets crowded, but gee, what do you expect? The weekly prices are amazing, much better than those gyms like LA Fitness; they rip you off with expensive fees, and most of them close at 11 pm. FIT4LESS offers a comfortable workout atmosphere; the people who work out there are super chill and not creepy. I am very happy to be a member of this gym. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who likes a 24/7 gym. Anytime to work out is super convenient. I don't regret registering at Fit4less.

Negative experience: Having audible ads playing over the speakers for a place you pay membership for is actually insane. Extremely disappointing.

Negative experience: I have recently joined this gym on Erb st. and I was in GoodLife Fitness before , the only reason I joined this because it’s closer to my house and is owned by GoodLife! I would say this gym is charging a very cheap price but also their services are not any less cheaper and I haven’t had a great experience for customer service yet! Recently I asked front for scissors as something was stuck on band and the front desk rep said “they dont carry scissors in absence of manager! Makes no sense then most of the times staff is always in staff room and barely you’ll see anyone at front desk! I Also the ones on the front desk whenever you ask them about any gym related questions their answer most of the time is “I dont know”! . I think a better training could help them!!

Positive experience: It is a great experience. It's not very crowded that's what I love about this gym.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of barbells and weights with a few racks. I rarely have to wait for the equipment I want. Very reasonable price as well. I am moving so I had to cancel my membership. Very easy cancellation process, I just had to give 1 month notice.

Negative experience: There has been a Fiji water bottle sitting next to a machine for over two weeks and none of the staff have bothered to pick it up. Black card member room has large hair balls on the floor that never get vacuumed up. Price is great, but it feels like nobody is cleaning the place.

Negative experience: Staffs are not managing the place properly and equipments are not maintained properly. If some machines got damaged, then timely not rectified.

Positive experience: The place is alright, though it often gets crowded and tight in the peak hours(which is normal). The staff is friendly and cool. I enjoy going there consistently, but I will give it 3 stars because I wish they could get rid of the extra weight room that is only accessible by a black membership, and expand the gym instead. Besides, too many cardio machines are packed together and abundant that are there taking space.

Fantastic experience: I had checked the reviews of all fit4less branches around kitchener/waterloo before getting my membership and decided on the one on weber st. As it seemed to be the best based on reviews. Today I was here to give it a try for the first time and found it better than the one on weber st. Regarding cleanliness and comfort level. Showers, washrooms and change room with lockers all in one place, no need to look for each, and separated for men/women. There is hydro massage room with large space beside the massage beds, awesome for skipping rope and floor exercises (though havent asked yet if skipping rope is allowed)I haven't come across with a broken Equipment and it wasn't too crowded. The staff were welcoming.

Positive experience: Clean place and good place to join! Slightly small facility otherwise budget friendly option. They improved on allowing massage chair past staff hours. Any fit4less facility which is big enough is the best option.

Negative experience: This place is absolutely terrible. Management's OK workers are ok. The equipments is always broken and nobody is there on Saturdays and Sundays before 12 o'clock. To much cardio equipment not enough weights. They keep raising the prices but not bringing in any new equipment . And be careful signing up if you miss a payment not only will they double your next payment but also have a $25 fee for missing it. If you missed both payments OK but one that's called corruption. This place is ripping people off by raising the rares without telling people.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a fan of big box gyms like Good life. Mostly because it's filled with watchers not people trying to work out. Or folks doing it for the gram. While Fit4Less is part of the Good life family, it harbours patrons that are more focused on their workout and fitness. This saves time between machines and there is always weights available. The staff is super nice and the facilities are very clean. Hence the 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: It's been a couple of weeks since I joined, my review until now is a good value for money if you are looking for everyday essentials of a gym to work out. No classes or pool..etc but works well for me. Cleaniss and customer service are great.

Negative experience: Worst fit4less locations of all. No paper towels no spray no hygiene. Very old equipments. The worst of all the locations. Please go to anyother fit4less location rsther than this one. Believe me i have seen fit4less before it is nothing like this one.

Negative experience: I had the same experience with K Venkat, the difference is they are now charging 20 bucks + tax for a demagnetized membership card. My one month new card was only used for twice and then stop working and the stuff on site request me to buy a new card otherwise cannot workout. I am okay to pay for a new card if I lost it but not for a one month demagnetized one!

Fantastic experience: Quite a large gym, with extensive selection of machines, free weights, and cardio machines. There is even a Black Card Room with additional equipment for those with a Black Card. The place is always clean, and staff are friendly.

Positive experience: The Gym lacks equipment. Whatever is there, it is pretty old. Just 1 squat rack and 1 lat pull down machine. If they could Renovate and add new machines, it would be 5/5.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, always greeted with a smile and is quick to help out. The one time my mom who is a senior fell on the treadmill, the staff immediately came to her aid. They bandaged her up and made sure she had a ride home as they didnt want her to drive home.

Negative experience: I have been with Fit4less for long time and I love it so far but Today I really had very bad experience with only one Employee. His name is Kevin(He said) at10 am June 10th. My card was Frozen which I was not aware of it and he was keep asking questions like FBI and finally he told me I need to Buy a new card without any clarification. I asked him what's wrong with my card and he said I SAID IF YOU WANNA COME IN YOU NEED TO BUY A CARD WITH $16 . I really loved the Stuff in this Club. Everyone so polite and kind except this guy. I just cancel my membership forever because of this guy. I know my comment does not change his rude behavior but at least Fit4less should aware of this type of bug in order to keep members in to the club for long time. Good Bye Fit4less.

Negative experience: This is by far the worst run gym in town. I just got off the phone with the manger who yelled at me & hung up. I've been a loyal customer for several years now. And I canceled my membership several months ago, and they kept stealing money and took $60 yesterday. Karen had the audacity to tell me it was $10 and it's a joke and that I have no proof of asking them to remove my banking information! Even tho I don't have a membership there. Time to go to the bank to block these thief's!!

Fantastic experience: This location was pretty clean and had a good selection of equipment. Cancelling my membership took under a minute to do. Good service overall.

Positive experience: There are enough machines and weights for me to get in shape. Equipment is clean, comes with water fountains, lockers are big enough to fit my stuff.

Negative experience: Honestly one of the worse fit4less locations out there. Staff never refill paper towels. Lots of equipment are old and need lubing or other maintenance, washroom never has soap or paper towels and staff always treats you like you're inconveniencing them. Kind of a shame this used to be a good location

Fantastic experience: Very spacious for it's size, I usually go around 4:30 and there's much people working out but as time goes on more will flood in but by that time I'm done.

Negative experience: They are there worst I called about my return of membership payment considering I canceled within 4 days .. and the girl I spoke too said she doesn't like my tone and hangs up . Like they need to get some teenagers with respect to work at a customer service place .. it's sad. I would not recommend this gym to anyone... If there any gym in kitchener waterloo I was suggest is Crunch .. they have well mannered Staff. And is always willing to help . !!!

Negative experience: Really awful customer service. There was no way to cancel my membership while they were closed during covid. As soon as they re-opened I went in and cancelled in person. The next week I was charged a $60 “annual cleaning fee” for the next year. When I called and asked about it, they said I didn’t cancel my membership in time and there was no way they could give me a refund. I explained that there was no way for me to cancel earlier and the manager said yeah lots of people are in the same position as you…? When I asked who else I could speak to, the manager said she was the only person and there was nothing she could do. The cheap membership is overshadowed by the lack of customer service and the sketchy ways they try to make extra money.

Fantastic experience: Very well taken care of gym! The staff do an excellent job of making sure your needs are met and the place overall smells much better!

Positive experience: Super clean gym and friendly staff. The gym itself is on the smaller side with limited equipment. If you go at peak times I would suggest going to a bigger fit4less facility but it gets the job done.

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership along time ago and they started taking money out of my account again. He told me I read joined in person in January, they were closed because of Covid at that time. And after I re-cancel the gym, they’re going to take three more payments out before they cancel it

Negative experience: Since the feb 2021 after the lockdown lifted, I tried to book the slots but never ever get any slots throughout the day. I’ve tried both Waterloo and kitchener locations. Suddenly i see they took out money from my bank. When I called them they said slots are busy and they’ll charge me 2 more bi weekly payments if I want to cancel(as per the contract I’ve signed). I’ve heard of businesses taking advantage of customers during COVID. This is one of those. For fit4less: you should be charging people who get the slots and use the gym, not the ones who never even got the chance to Visit gym. Also, you cannot ask members to visit the gym and see if there’s walkin. You inform members to come to gym and see if the people who booked the slots don’t turn up so that others can get in. Also stop sending emails to people to join the gym when you can’t even manage the people who already joined. I’m a member and I’m getting emails to join.

Negative experience: (Dont get membership at any of these gym)Whenever i go to this gym they are like its full. Website is also not good its gets crash whenever i try to book my workouts. Every day i go there and be like a bagger to workout (with paying 11$+tax /15 days). If they can’t manage their customer they should stop recruiting new members. Really very disappointed. They take 45+tax annual cleaning charge too. Its like donating hundreds of dollars. Staff is also not supportive. I asked there to change my membership to at least 5$ membership they directly said do it online but there is no option to downgrade my membership. 0 star if i could. No customer service.
