Fantastic experience: Moving here after living in Boston and New York most of my life, I gotta say that this gym ranks amongst the best of the best. To say it’s clean is and understatement. It’s pristine. The equipment is maintained beautifully. All of the facilities are immaculate, although i should note that I haven’t used the pool. It looks amazing. The staff are outstanding. I need to update this later with the names of my favorites because they certainly deserve the recognition. There is zero reason for any negative reviews of Stork Family YMCA. This place and it’s team deserves to be models of the fitness/community sports industry.

Fantastic experience: It is a great place for all ages. The kids pool and adult swimming pool for lane and aquafit. Sessions. Also a library, a large gym and an auditorium for tennis or indoor soccer etc. Family rates are very affordable

Fantastic experience: Great place for all! Good variety of classes, games and gym machines. I love how when using the track you can look outside or watch other fitness things happening. Pool is great too! Membership I believe is still month to month, not locked in for a year. Flexibility is the greatest! The YMCA rocks!

Fantastic experience: It's been 7 years being with Y. My kids has been growing up there and we're just happy it's open up again after the pandemic.

Positive experience: Seems to have fantastic facilities. Although it is difficult to swim there, particularly as a non-member it feels like a deterrent to people just wanting to get a feel for the place. However, incredibly helpful staff. In addition to that, plenty of parking and other amenities such as a gym, basketball court, and a library.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for a long time now. Very satisfied with the services, equipment and staff.

Positive experience: Love this place and would give 5 stars, but the timings are very limited for both weekday and weekend (especially weekend). Given the pandemic (or soon to be endemic), the world has changed. So should their policy around opening and closing. Add-on feature is the WPL on-premise.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy going to the Stork YMCA as the staff is so friendly & welcoming. The facilities are bright & clean. There are many good programs to choose from but I especially enjoy the aquafit, then relaxing in the warm water leisure pool & whirlpool. As a bonus there is a snack bar & is attached to the Harper library. It is on a bus route for those that need it.

Fantastic experience: I used to go here for the gym. There can be a little bit more equipment And I think the membership is a little bit expensive. Love the fact that they have a swimming pool there though.

Fantastic experience: The Stork Family Y is my second home. I have been volunteering there, teaching fitness classes, since it opened. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the facility is clean and modern. The staff and members make an effort to learn your name and get to know you. There are programs for all ages. For thirteen years, my children have attended swimming lessons, a large variety of sports programs, dance, arts, and games classes, preschool programs and the childminding room. My son learned the use the weight room properly by taking a course their called Teen Conditioning. They continue to attend programs, and now my son works out on his own and even attends some classes with me. The Stork Y is a wonderful place to come with your family. There are activities to do together, like family swimming, running on the track, and some sports in the gym, and then there are adult sports and fitness classes too! The Y has so much to offer families. Of course I am somewhat biased, but the fitness classes are pretty amazing too!

Fantastic experience: The staff is not only friendly but helpful. Our family loves it because we can go to a gym class, enjoy the pool, the kids may join a program or go to the library which is just within the facility. I guess some classes can be better but it is an enormous effort and overall I can only say that our family feels safe and welcome here. Its a place for gathering and well being.

Fantastic experience: Went to get a library card. Not only was it really fast, but the staff was so friendly and helpful. She guided me through how to search for books on the computer, how to find them on the shelves, how to place a book on hold, and how to check out. Really good experience :)
