He was courteous, always available to talk, and always helpful in the signup process. Gym is clean and tidy. Quite small, but has the essentials. The staff is what stood out for me.

Negative experience: Canceled my membership over the phone, randomly got a “collection notice” for $800 months later, upon calling apparently you can’t close a membership over the phone and they refuse to negotiate, not my real name so you won’t “find me in your system” they will drain all your money unwillingly until you’re broke, then ask for more…

Negative experience: Worst gym I have ever been a part of. Very dirty and customer service/representatives are abysmal to deal with. Only advantage to this gym is its open 24 hours. Would not recommend unless you have literally no other option and even then I'd suggest sorting out your own home gym instead. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: Anyone who knows me, knows that I've been a hardcore fitness fanatic for pretty much my entire adult life. My motto is: If you ain't lifting, you ain't living! I've been to dozens of gyms over the years, but this gym is one of the best. Lots of fitness equipment to use, and Greg is the GOAT.

Fantastic experience: I used this gym for a few years and the staff was always really friendly. For a gym in the city, it was fairly quiet too. I had to cancel my membership due to relocating to a rural area and when I went in at the end of July, the manager was wonderful. He was super friendly and didn't make me feel pressured to stay with the club. Completely understanding of my situation. Wish I caught his name but hopefully he sees this.

The person (Ruthwam) who was in that day was so helpful and friendly and easy to talk to he even noticed me standing outside to call in because I had no key that was so amazing. Fantastic experience: My experience at AF so far has been great! Amanda has been so lovely and has been a great help in getting me set up with my membership! The facility is also very clean and well-maintained!

Negative experience: Got a membership for 6 months, from day one, my key fob failed to work. Went in got it replaced 3 times, and everything is the same thing. I asked to cancel my membership and they denied that to me and mean while I had no club access. I got robbed for $500-600. Worst clubs I have ever experienced, very small and not worth the price. Go to GOODLIFE FITNESS if you want a good gym for less money.

Fantastic experience: I had my very first workout session today at AF, and I must say that the experience went from daunting to absolutely amazing, thanks to coaching manager Amanda. As someone who struggles with gym anxiety, the thought of stepping into a new fitness environment was quite intimidating. From the moment I walked in she really took the time to understand my fitness goals and concerns. She walked me through the equipment, demonstrated exercises, and ensured I was comfortable and confident with each step I took. Her motivational words, kindness and patience really helped me push through the initial awkwardness and actually enjoy my workout. To anyone who is new to the gym or has reservations about starting out, I can't recommend this location enough, especially with the support of amazing staff. It's clear that AF hire people who not only have a passion for fitness but also for helping others!

Fantastic experience: Been hearing a lot of bad reviews about this place recently and I just wanted to clear some things up from my perspective. I've been to this gym a few times and every time I've come here the place has been very well maintained and on top of that the staff are extremely nice people who want to build a very open and caring community in the gym. well I do admit some of the machines can be slightly old but they are more than enough for you to achieve your fitness goals and helping you live a long and prosperous life. Also all of the regulars are extremely nice people who are willing to give tips and help point you in the right direction when needed. Also since not a lot of people are there at once you don't have to wait long at all to use the machines and can get your workout done in a timely manner so you can go on and enjoy the rest of your day. Overall this is one of the best gyms in town you can go to and if I have to recommend one for people to go to this would be the one .

Negative experience: The upside to this gym is it's always dead. That's it. Otherwise it's also always dirty. The machines are grossly outdated and continuously breaking down. The cardio equipment is so old they still have the original 30 pin apple connectors that apple stopped using in 2012, those machines are at least 12 years old if not more. The decline of the gym and equipment is ironic considering they charge you a "gym enhancement fee" every 6 months. The location is rarely staffed 5 days a week. When you consider the size of their locations anytime is the most expensive gym in Ontario by far. Tldr: horrible gym avoid at all costs. In reply: I'm no longer a member at this location. That is correct. I was, however, a member at this location for over 2 years. This doesn't change the fact the machines are outdated or that you still charge the enhancement fee. I like how you didn't address either of this issues. Furthermore it's evident to any of the members, current or previous, that you have serious staffing issues. Saying the gym is staffed 6 days and actually having it staffed are two different things. To address the cleanliness of the facility just because you have someone there 8 hours a day doesn't mean they're actually cleaning anything.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been members for over a year now. So glad we joined, we both feel stronger and healthier. Out of the three locations we frequent Kitchener is by far our favourite. Great layout and room to move. Staff, particularly Kevin, is friendly and welcoming.

There is a ton of equipment, so you never have to wait. Of all the gyms I have been to, Anytime is the cleanest and most convenient one I have had the pleasure of using. Positive experience: Overpriced compared to other gym in the location and the facility is very limited. And they have weird ruled that get you pay the fine in which you are indirectly involved.In my case a member whose key was not working i opened and they came up with a fine.

Fantastic experience: The anytime fitness is really good fitness chain and employees are so helpful. Especially rutwan is so helpful and supportive.

Negative experience: Their charges are too high. Plus, they make you sign God knows what charges. Be careful with what you sign for. I don't know about other locations but the Westmount one does not have Jacuzzi or anything to justify such high monthly charges. Went for planet fitness though it was far from my place, but the AF price is way too damn high.
