Negative experience: Gives off more of a rec centre instead of a gym with the amount of kids in the change rooms and pool.
Negative experience: Only thing I feel bad about is being rude to the front desk girl. However they are not trained properly and when I asked where equipment was they had no idea what I was talking about. I wanted to cancel my membership for how disgusting this gym is. As soon as you walk through the door it actually smells like someone peed themselves. Would never ever use the pool as it’s full of kids and so dirty. Equipment is also half broken and all feels sticky. Have to scrub my hands when I leave because if I accidentally touch my face I’ll probably get an infection. They only allow you to cancel Monday to Friday 9am-6pm so anyone with a job can’t cancel. The only other option the desk girl gave me was to mail in a cancellation form to their office… in TEXAS. I was able to sign in online after and cancel but she had no idea that was a thing. Also I would never ever recommend this gym for women as it’s just full of men and the women’s only room is just cardio equipment. One singular squat rack and it’s broken. So many safety hazards with the equipment not being maintained at all. Only reason I signed up was for the bring a friend option and I would be embarrassed to bring someone here. I’ve been to other not great gyms in Canada and this was the worst. Definitely worth it to pay a little more. Again sorry for being rude to the desk girl when I was actually just mad at the gym.
Negative experience: 30 minutes before the hall closed, the castor didn't let me in, someone else opened the door for me. You already squeeze people by taking the hours of the hall early, and on top of that, what is it not to take them to the salon? Someone please explain.
Negative experience: Closed an hour early today and didnt post it to google. Wasted my time and pre workout, now I'm tinlgy and pissed off. Also even restaurants are open later than 9pm on a friday.

Positive experience: This gym provides a decent fitness space with a good variety of equipment. However, the hours of operation are somewhat limiting, particularly for those with non-traditional schedules. Additionally, it can be frustrating to find that certain items are frequently unavailable for use. Hopefully, these concerns can be addressed in the future to better serve the needs of all members. Overall, it's an acceptable facility with room for improvement.
Negative experience: Its stinky, not to be rude, but the whole place stunk like the one kid in school who never showered. The gym was pretty busy and i only saw 2 people wipe down when they were done a lift. Ill give it another shot, but im not sure about this one. Just a grimey feel
Fantastic experience: I mainly gym here because the group fitness classes are so awesome! The Instructors Rakia and Lourdes are really top tier instructors and have you feeling super energized during and after your workout!

Negative experience: Lots of equipment is broken often and takes long time to fix. Machines at north not as nice as south side location. Sauna says it is supposed to be 180F (80C) and it is always 55C. People don’t clean equipment because all they have is wall foam and paper towel 50 feet away from benches. It is sometimes dirty and dusty in here. They let kids work out as long as with an adult i’ve seen kids aged 10 using equipment alone and poorly. People here struggle to put away their own weights. Hours here are already limited and they are changing hours to close earlier on weekdays 10pm which is unfortunate because there are many 24h gyms available. When Movati opens in Albany I assume LA Fitness may struggle. The positives here are that I have a guest pass which is nice if I want to work out with my friends. I am only keeping my membership because of guest pass and how close it is to my house and the fact that the membership is cheap.
Positive experience: I attended LA Fitness specifically for the instructor. I used to dread going to the gym, but Rakia’s classes made it enjoyable and kept me motivated. I’ve even followed her from the West location to the North location to continue attending her classes. I also appreciate that LA Fitness offers a pool, dry sauna, and hot tub, which I really enjoy. However, both facilities would benefit from more frequent and thorough cleaning to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Minus one star for the lack of cleanliness.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at LA Fitness for the past 6 years. This gym has become a place of such great community for me. I come to workout for myself, but also to see my friends! Huge shoutout to Rakia who instructs Zumba, Body Works and Yoga! Rakia brings her entire heart and soul into her classes. She encourages and lifts up everyone that comes to her class. I found my confidence in the gym because of HER!! Fabulous instructor!

Fantastic experience: The main reason I have a memebership here is that I love the Zumba classes with Rakia! Rakia brings so much energy and positivity to each session, it’s contagious! She makes working out so much fun and has given me the motivation to stay healthy and fit! The routines are fun, easy to follow, and offer a great mix of cardio and toning exercises. She is always encouraging and makes sure everyone is having a good time, regardless of their skill level. Highly recommend Rakia's Zumba class to anyone looking for a fun way to stay active!

Negative experience: No one is never on time in the morning, your late when your on time and your on time when your 15 mins ahead of time! needs to be 24 hours! Need a good 360 clean! Bathroom are looking like 7/11 convenience store! It’s never clean around here.

Positive experience: Spacious gym with a variety of equipment, however, the design of the facility is a little off-putting. I think carpet in a gym is a little odd, but I digress. The fitness classes were enjoyable and had a variety, the pool was clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful!

Negative experience: I’ve had a terrible experience with LA Fitness. Once they get your credit card, they start charging you for fees that weren’t clearly disclosed when you signed up. I had to use my credit card insurance to recover amounts that were taken from my account without my permission. Once they have access to your credit card, they can charge you whatever they want, and it’s very hard to dispute any transactions. Cancelling your membership is a nightmare; they make you jump through hoops with a frustrating process. This gym has a bad reputation for a reason—just read the reviews. The equipment is old and outdated, and overall, I wouldn’t recommend this gym at all. Be careful before signing up, as it’s incredibly hard to cancel, and you may end up being charged for things you are not aware of.
Negative experience: I joined the gym for two months. I paid the first and last month ($104), just for the summer when my son was off school. I was not told but after 2 weeks the annual maintenance fee ($72) kicked in. My bad for not having read the fine print. Next thing I know I am charged for another month ($52). I had to go in and ask my membership to be cancelled as I only signed up for two months. It's been done but I am still waiting to hear whether $52 will be refunded or not. Good place but I am not sure I would ever consider going back there. And it is very risky when they get your credit card and keep charging for all kinds of things. Just very disappointed. Evans was helpful at the time of signing up and at the time of cancellation. I just wish I had better information about when what is charged. Read everything when you sign up. Ask for all the different fees they charge. And consider the risks as you hand over your credit card.
Negative experience: I’ve always been on and off with this gym. I loved it because of how close it was to home, but I hated it because the pools were always too busy to use. It’s extremely difficult to find a good time to do swimming laps in peace without having so many kids around. Placement of cleaning supplies was also very odd. You’d have to walk across the gym if you want to wipe your equipment. I can only imagine how this would dissuade the average person from cleaning their workout station at all after use.
Positive experience: The front staffers are amazing, but the general ambiance and equipment need a face lift.
Negative experience: Really good gym with great equipment. Could use another two squat racks. The hours are absolutely atrocious though. 8-8 on weekends is crazy, absolute killer for me. The pool is always over ran by kids even if they're “only allowed the single far lane”.

Positive experience: I've been a member of LA Fitness for about five months now, and overall, my experience has been positive. The facility offers a range of equipment and classes to suit my fitness needs. However, one area that could use improvement is the pool area. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The tiles are frequently dirty and grimy, and I've noticed black mold on the roof. Addressing these issues would greatly enhance the overall experience for members.
Positive experience: Great variety of gym equipment. All in good working condition as well. I wish to include that the staff are exceptional and professional. And a shout-out to the one male custodian who's always working hard to keep the facility clean. The reason I am not giving a 5 star is the fact that most of the regulars have little to no gym etiquette. Though it is posted in the gym to rerack weights and wipe down the equipment after use, many do not do this. This is always an issue in most gyms. However, it seems more apparent here. I wish to also include the speed for the treadmills max out to only 10 miles per hour. I believe they should reach at least 12. The faster, the better. To finish, thank you, LA Fitness, for giving me a good workout.
Negative experience: Came into this gym for the first time to speak with the personal training manager Andrew, he was the most disrespectful, and rude person I’ve ever encountered. As a manger at a gym I would think he would be nice, and have better social skills but I was wrong. The whole time we spoke he looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language, and continued to try and make me feel stupid with his reactions, and the way he was acting to everything I said. To top off my already terrible conversation with him, he ended it by belittling me and telling me “I don’t think you know what you’re talking about” which completely caught me off guard. This isn’t an experience I would even wish on my enemies. It was so terrible and I genuinely wouldn’t recommend this facility for anyone to work, or even give business to.
Negative experience: I had the worst encounter with Andrew he was very disrespectful and rude the way he talks is almost like he’s talking down to you like i didn’t speak the language. Very unimpressed with the customer service handled by this “manager”.
Negative experience: Melissa is very rude. She is always on her phone and is not helpful what so ever. She does not take her job seriously. I have no complaints about any of the other staff members.

Fantastic experience: I only go to the gym for the group classes. Rakia hands down provides an amazing workout! I’ve been to her body works, yoga and zumba classes, and they are all great!
Negative experience: Continually has hot tub problems. Can’t seem to go a week without it being broke down. Lockers don’t seem to ever be cleaned. Quite disappointing.

Positive experience: Overall, it is a good, clean gym with decent people and great staff. I'd give it 5 stars but there's definitely flaws to this gym. Like the men's sauna is quite small and is always overcrowded, the hot tub is small and not always clean or hot/running and the jets are terrible. Some of the machines are quite worn out or old, like the rowing machines specifically. Totally worth the money overall, but not without its downsides .

Positive experience: Water heater was broken and couldn't take a shower, it's been 3 weeks and it still hasn't been fixed even though when i inquired they told me it will be fixed quickly. That's the reason for 3 stars only
Negative experience: I have been a member of this location for over 5 years and for the last couple years I can only do swimming as my exercise. There are constantly issues with pool water temperature to be too cold, but over a month ago the heater pump broke and water is super cold. Their excuse was that they are waiting for the part to fix it. Now apparently the part is here, but they have some issues with installation. Not happy about it at all as I have to pay my monthly fees.
Negative experience: Melissa is very rude over the phone and in person. She can't do her job properly and cancel a membership. I would not recommend anyone to get a membership here. Go to Goodlife!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out at LA fitness for 3 years now and have nothing but fondness for the staff that works there. I frequent all 3 locations in the city and have met some very genuine and kind people. In particular the current GM at the north location, Zach, has become a friend and is very attentive to any issues and you can tell he genuinely cares.
Positive experience: The manager Zach Munroe was a huge help whenever I needed a hand with anything regrading my account. If I had any questions I’d just reach out to him and he’d take care of everything. Very professional and concerned about individuals having a good experience at his branch.

Fantastic experience: I need to go there to find a what time there. Personal trainers start. I had joined the club before. And I thought it extremely good. All the equipment is awesome and the personal trainers are really good and really informative
Negative experience: Sleezy business tactics and relentless calling and refusal of my original payment method, they want my direct account information and I refuse and they won't accept my original payment method. When asked about cancellation they bully you into a corner to pay for an annual fee and I have only been with them for two weeks. You sign with them and you will have a hard time. GoodLife definitely has a more relaxed approach to their members and billing fees.

The exorbitant fees deducted from your credit card, along with the mandatory first and last-month payments, make the membership far from worth it. Attempting to cancel my membership turned into a nightmarish ordeal, as the management intentionally placed numerous roadblocks, making the process unnecessarily difficult. It's baffling that LA Fitness continues to operate with such a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and fair business practices. I strongly caution potential members to think twice before signing up with LA Fitness. The appalling treatment by the manager and the seemingly unethical practices make this fitness center far from the welcoming and supportive environment one would expect. Consideration should be given to the overall management and training of the staff at this location, or closure may be a necessary step to uphold customer satisfaction. I will never come back again to this location and I will tell all my friends to never sign up again. The worse experience I ever had.
Negative experience: Went for a 7 day trial and wasn't too my liking. It's pretty much like any other gym like Fit4Less, Goodlife, CofE rec centers, so it's not worth the price unless you are looking to utilize the full facility (pool, sauna, squash, etc.) but I'd look elsewhere. Also just a heads up if you want to cancel your membership, do not go to anybody else other than the operations manager Melissa. I was told that my membership was cancelled last week just verbally but my gut feeling told me they wouldn't do it so I luckily went back in to cancel it and Melissa was working. Don't take the sales guy's word for it, he's just looking for commission. People/staff are only friendly when you join, but when it comes to cancelling membership or ask general questions, they seem miserable. tldr; other places are better, cancel membership through operations manager, don't take salesperson's word, they're looking for commissions is all.
Negative experience: As a business owner, who understand the market these days, I don’t want to be robbed off someone’s hard earned money. This establishment with a manager named Andrew, gave me one of the worst experiences ever. I would never recommend anyone to ever use their personal training services without probably checking the clauses. I signed up for a year of personal training, and because there wasn’t any “holds or freezes”, you still get charged whilst you are away. Which is fair. They can pile up your hours for you till you return. I had about 33hours of sessions upon my return and I had sent emails prior regarding not moving forward with personal training after my year contract. I was billed after my year contact and I asked for a refund only for the manager to play in my face as if I am speaking a foreign language. Is not even about the money. The principles and how bizarre they treated the situation.
Negative experience: Very bad place to register there . I registered with them month by month then suddenly two weeks after my starting there an amount of 61 $ was detected from my account when I called them to ask about it they told me this was an annual fee that would be detected from my account even your are register for one or two or three months When I asked her why no one mentioned it when I came and asked about the registration fee she simply answered nothing to can help you with This is a really big Scam and unfortunately, they are trying to cheat the people donot go there they will keep charging you without telling you anything
Negative experience: I absolutely discourage anyone from going to this location, especially if you are looking for a positive environment to work out. They operate more like a scam than a business. My parents went to open their account together, and instead of helping having the second person open their account as a referral, where the second person would skip the entry fee, they made my parents sit in 2 separate desks and opened an account each, where they both had to pay the entry fee (which is incredibly high) plus pay the last month (which I have never seen any gym in my life) On top of that, the attitudes of the managers there are very rude. My parents have asked for help with several things, and they have been talked to in a demeaning and rude manner. The worst is their personal training program. Which my parents enrolled in. First of all the trainer quit, and the replacement trainer did not show up for several weeks. And when they finally showed up, they insisted that my parents do more sessions ler week so as to catch up on the previous weeks. And after my dad had an injury and could not continue training, they were not helpful at all, and insisted that he pays for the rest of the training, or half of the remaining sessions. I highly discourage anyone from going there, especially if you are elderly and need any kind of assistance or recommendations. I am sure other locations are not as bad, but I have already had such a bad experience dealing with them I dont see myself going to any LA fitness any time soon. The managers there should start treating people with respect instead of acting like big shots.
Positive experience: Been coming to this gym for a while. Staff are all friendly. Clean environment. Machines are decent. One HUGE issue that has unfortunately come up the have ruined the opportunity for me to work out during the week by switching the child care hours to 7 and not at all Friday the reason I joined this gym compared to other gyms was for there flexible child care, which made them the best gym in the city for parents dedicated to keeping healthy
Fantastic experience: Great gym, affordable and lots of amenities for the price. Friendly staff too. It can get busy but not as busy as other places I went to before (like GoodLife). The only thing is that maintenance sometimes is a bit delayed, but not a big deal (sauna this weekend for example).

Rush hours are quite busy of course; Generally kept clean in the workout area , kids area is quite handy and washrooms are washrooms but seems to be an effort to be kept clean .
Fantastic experience: Mom's with kids, this is the best gym, has child care, and personal trainer. The gym is HUGE, so ur not waiting to use equipment. You can find other mommies to go with and make friends there. The staff are all great too. Very helpful. It's affordable as well.

The trainers/ management seemed disinterested and solely focused on making money rather than genuinely helping clients achieve their fitness goals. This lack of care and professionalism was disheartening and made me question the overall quality of the gym's staff. Additionally, the overall customer service experience at LA Fitness was subpar. The staff members I encountered were often unhelpful and seemed disinterested in addressing any concerns or issues I had. It felt as though their primary objective was to generate revenue rather than prioritize the satisfaction and well-being of their members. While I acknowledge that my experience may not be representative of everyone's, it is disheartening to have encountered such challenges and unprofessionalism at LA Fitness. The lack of accountability and the disregard for customer satisfaction have left me with a negative impression of the gym. In conclusion, my experience at LA Fitness has been marred by difficulties in canceling my contract, unprofessionalism within the fitness training department, and a general lack of care from the staff. I cannot recommend LA Fitness based on my personal experience, and I would advise potential members to thoroughly research and consider their options before committing to a membership.
Negative experience: My wife has been trying to cancel our membership for months, but keep getting charged even though we submitted paperwork. Even got charged an annual fee even though we had canceled it before the fee was due to be charged. Don't get a membership at this location. Such a rip off.
Negative experience: Honestly at this point this location should close down.. 0 customer service and rude staff. I've been a member for the past 4 years, it used to be an amazing gym and I enjoyed coming here. For the past two years the service has decreased drastically.. The equipment is constantly being serviced and the facility isn't being kept as clean as it used to be before.. I've been postponing to cancel my membership for awhile now due to how long I've been coming here.. but today I've had enough and will never step foot in your building again - unless it's to cancel the membership; my girlfriend wanted to start training so we came in to get a free ONE day pass so she can experience the gym and see if she'd like it but we were told that we have to pay $21 for a drop in. $21 for one drop in?! So greedy.. We'll go somewhere else where customer experience is more appreciated. I'd give 0 stars if that was an option.

Fantastic experience: For the price, they're LEAGUES better than Good Life Fitness, Anytime Fitness, or any other competitor. Hardly packed even at peak hour. They have a hot tub, sauna, and a pool. I can't complain for paying one of the cheapest rates in the industry. You can bring TWO friends daily. That's absolutely unheard of at the competitor's gyms. Ignore these clown world people rating a 1 star. I can't recommend them enough if you are just looking for a gym to workout at, and bring a partner every now and then!
Negative experience: I just signed up last month and it cost me 200$ plus something the initial fee is 99$. And the other day they charged me again 69$ for the initial it said. so I went to the gym and tell the lady about it and she just ask my name and number so the manager will call about it. But until now no call. They charged too much. And this coming May 24th they’re going to charge me again 45$ something.

I was doing a heavy squat but clearly didn’t need any help as I’m way bigger and muscular than him but still he comes up behind and spots me anyway while letting off slight grunts into my ear. I felt violated , as a grown man I’ve never had anyone do such thing like that and I think zach needs to be let go of . GO TO YMCA , your safe there.
Negative experience: just gonna get straight to the point, I have been coming to LA fitness now for quite a while, and I’ve always loved coming here, but something changed when you guys hired Zak. Zak is the reason why I hate going to the gym, I absolutely despise it, I used to go to the gym and walk through the doors to a beautiful facility, but now whenever I walk into the gym I just see a horrid, let down, and monstrosity of a person. Zak was never a problem until he started commenting about the way I use the equipment, or how he always follows me into the washroom and started flexing and preaching that he’s better than me. Anyone who’s thinking of coming to LA fitness, avoid Zak by all means, he will make you want to throw a dumbbell at his face.
Negative experience: so frustrated went to the gym To get a good pump in with my son Oj who is 17 years old and goes there often he recently just told me that the manager or worker Zack has been staring at him and my son OJ is now scared to go to the gym. Apparently zak hits dab pens in the men’s locker room and has offended my son Oj by offering him a “blinker”
Negative experience: My friend and I recently had a terrible experience at LA Fitness with an employee named Zak. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, and made my workout experience extremely unpleasant. All we wanted to do was work out, but Zak made it impossible with his negative attitude and poor customer service skills. I would not recommend this location or Zak as a worker to anyone looking for a positive and respectful gym experience. Management needs to address this issue and ensure that their employees are providing a welcoming environment for all patrons.
Negative experience: Decided to go to the gym last week with my son the location was close and convenient but came across a worker named zak where he often would stare at me and my son repulsively. There came a point where he was “flexing” on my son because apparently he wasn’t “zooked” all n all the gym isn’t the greatest go to the ymca where it is Much better
Negative experience: Terrible gym and terrible assistance one worker named zak was a clown who thought everything goes his way at his time. He has an attitude issues and doesn’t know how to control himself. He needs to be tamed. Screw zak.
Negative experience: There is a Male worker at this gym and his name is zak I walked in with my friend and he was being very disrespectful and rude. I hope that no one has to go through and deal with the type of disrespect we did, all we wanted was some assistance and we could not even get it. DO NOT GO HERE!!
Negative experience: Zak is the equivalent to a male Karen, in-fact we now have chosen the name Zak as the new name for a male Karen. Nobody likes a Zak, Zak’s are the NPC party poopers who will take it upon themselves to use the power they have and abuse it, thinking because he is GM of LA fitness he has power when in reality… Zak is insecure deep down and life’s a very sad depressing life filled with lots of thinking he’s the “man”. When In reality he is just Zak Laun, don’t be a Zak!
Negative experience: The gym has a wide variety of equipment and overall good staff but I strongly recommend to anyone planning on getting a membership to go to Sidney or Sahar, DO NOT GO TO ZAK. He is the only reason I gave this rating a 2. Very unprofessional and disrespectful, will pressure you to get a membership so he gains a commission and does not care about how he will get it done. And once he knows he cannot persuade you to get one he will begin to be disrespectful and change his entire mood! I loved LA fitness, my entire family goes… but Zak is the main reason why I have decided to take my company somewhere where it isn’t disrespected! BTW, Micheala S wrote a review on Zak. That’s her coworker or boss. Kind of sad when you need someone who works along with you to lie.
Negative experience: When your told your membership was canceled then charged for another annual fee and another month on the same day and can't get any refund because they don't believe it was canceled properly is bad business. I was told it was canceled and it wasn't really then get charged and won't give you a refund. Horrible.
Negative experience: Worst gym in the area. I travel to west end to get away from the lack of gym etiquette. No one wipes down equipment. No one moves out of the way and no one has any space awareness. Almost got my weight hit while over head pressing in the squat rack. If you live in the area, just save the effort and drive to the west end or go to goodlife in clareview.
Negative experience: I signed up exclusively to use the pool. My partner and I weren't interested in swimming at a public pool because we wanted to avoid crowds and children. Apparently an 18+ private gym isn't enough to get away from that though, since there are swimming children's swimming lessons 5 days a week, and almost always at times that any normal adult would want to use the pool. What's the point of paying membership fees to a pool that doesn't honour the clients that pay to use the facility? There's a good chance we'll be cancelling our membership because of this.
Positive experience: Good gym but some of the equipment is older and is constantly needing repair... Especially the treadmills. Also, this gym is constantly crowded, no matter what time you go. Machines are often taken by people who sit there extensively on their phones or people who are just hanging out with their friends, making it difficult for people who actually want to use the machine for working out.
Fantastic experience: I would like to say “thank you to Sidney. She guided me through the whole process of signing up at LA fitness. Great with words, colourful voice on the phone, amazing attitude and great spirit. I’ve never experienced such quick, and effective responses from someone before. I’m happy and grateful for her help. Even after signing up, she extended her help with anything further in the future. Thank u again Sidney!!!
Negative experience: They purposely don't keep enough barbells for the number of benchs they have. They don't even have enough barbell clips for the ones they do have. Locker room during the winter is disgusting. They never clean inside the lockers, so theres a layer of dirt/mud in every locker. Decent amount of equipment and could be way better if it were properly run
Negative experience: Worst experience ever. This guys are scam. They will convince you to get membership and screw you up from one side. So I would not recommend anyone of you. But still up to you. But would not recommend this gym to anyone.
Negative experience: I understand that the management cannot always monitor the people that workout here… but I’ve been to all three locations and there is very little gym etiquette at this location. Many machines are broken due to misuse and are rarely fixed. It is also very busy in the weight section no matter the time, to the point where it is extremely difficult to get a proper workout in. I suggest just going to one of the other locations.
Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing! Zak is so friendly and knowledgeable and made the process of getting a membership so easy. Sidney was also super helpful, all around great staff and great workout environment!
Negative experience: pretty sick of the lack of effort put into this gym. The paper towel dispensers are always empty, the lockers and floors are filthy because nobody is enforcing people taking their shoes off. If that’s your approach then at least clean out the lockers so we don’t have to put our bags in mud. Today I went to 3 empty paper towel dispensers while I watched staff members running around playing tag... Good luck finding a place on the one strip of filthy mat they have...or any barbells because they’re all abandoned wherever people feel like it. And forget about getting into the pool on any evening because of swimming lessons…glad that’s part of my membership fee.
Fantastic experience: Rakia’s zumba class is by the far the best in the city!! She is energetic, passionate and encouraging. We all leave feeling sexy, sweaty and amazing.

Fantastic experience: When I signed up I was able to meet with one of the personal trainers to go over some of my fitness goals. Sam was very friendly and supportive and gave me a lot of new things to try! His suggestions have made my gym experience a lot better!
Negative experience: Very bad service from these people, when someone going there for Enquiry..! forcing the customer to join the gym. By saying very special deal of the day. “Orange theory is pricy” all they want someone to sign up everyday and get money…doesn’t matter if they continue work out with them or not. When we request for refund. then brings agreement and saying after 3 days all that money is for us. Any way First week $156, second week $61.95. (Didn’t use the gym for at least 1hour) When they say will call back…u will never get a call from them. But when they need references u will get 100 calls. 100% NOT recommend this location.
Fantastic experience: Since 2017 I have been going to LA fitness. I highly recommend Sam as a good go to at this gym. Whether you want to change up your workout or have a question about anything- he will be able to answer it! I was having a couple aches and pains and he even took the time to show me how to stretch those areas better and the muscles I needed to focus on to make sure that the ache didn’t return. He even double checked my posture and handgrip on the equipment I was using! Thank you so much Sam for always bringing a positive vibe to this gym and giving the most valuable thing anyone could ask for, your time!
Positive experience: Fooled Initially…Trainer “Riley”, younger than I expected. Very knowledgeable and helpful! I look forward to my next session once my soreness goes away, lol. My name is Clem, I am 69 and I recommend Riley as your trainer, you won’t be disappointed!
Negative experience: two star for the unkind male cleaner , please give a good training to have some customer service thanks ! and respect all gym attendants male femaleno matter what age group thanks , my experince with this particular male cleaner in month of october 2022 isnt the greatest i could call and mention if the stuations keep happening , and for now i figured i review and express how i feel etc .
Fantastic experience: LA Fitness Newcastle is one of the best gyms I've been to in a long time. A special thanks to Sidney for walking me through membership and personal training, she is very helpful, very polite and always there to help when you need it. Fantastic experience: I use their pool once per week. Have trained there a few times. It's a little warm which raises my perceived exertion, which impacts my training goals in a negative way. I have indicated this to staff a couple of times.
Fantastic experience: I joined LA fitness mainly because of the excellent service I received from Sidney. She took the time to sit down and get to know me and my fitness goals, showed me around the facility and was able to answer all of my questions. She is a joy to be around and great to chat with! The facility is fantastic and has everything I could want from a gym and with the deal they were offering when I got started, how could I say no?
Fantastic experience: LA Fitness Newcastle is lucky to have Sam as a dedicated, brilliantly talented and knowledgeable trainer. If you are ready for a transformation, ask for Sam; you won’t regret it! I guarantee you will never find a harder working and caring trainer than Sam. LA Fitness….you need to clone Sam so that all your trainers are as skilled as he is and can demonstrate the results he produces. Keep up the great work Sam!
Fantastic experience: I was an LA Fitness member in Brampton, Ontario and came to Edmonton on a short vacation. I did not know Edmonton had an LA fitness, until someone told me. Luckily for me this gym was near my area, and I had no hesitations in dropping in. I especially love this location in North Edmonton as my experience here was fantastic. This gym looks very organized and tidy, and the ladies changerooms were very clean. The workout area had lots of equipment which were well maintained. Also appreciate the attitudes of the lovely staff here (Zak Laun and front end staff - they are all pleasant, professional, and helpful)
Fantastic experience: Be sure to ask for Zak when you or your friends want to sign up at this location. He was very friendly and professional to sign up with. He has a sweet personality where you don’t feel judged when you sign up, nor do you feel pressured in a bad way to signup. There isn’t a a sales pitch, just an honest person who wants the best for people.
Fantastic experience: Amazing price for everything offered! And great hours! As a mom of young ones, my schedule can change often. I like that I can go as early as 5am or up until 11 on some nights! With a basketball court, awesome selection of fun classes (their cycle classes are great,) a swimming pool, sauna and hot tub…. How can you go wrong?
