Negative experience: Dirty dirty dirty. How can LA Fitness be proud of their establishments that are consistently filthy. Not my first time here and it is very consistent. A number of staff at front desk but nobody cleans? Weights all over the place and nothing cleaned. Disappointed for sure.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful environment and people working out.. nobody bothers you during workouts.

Negative experience: Very rude customer service. Better training of employees I think is needed regarding customer service at this location. I don’t believe that 1 or 2 bad Apples should spoil the whole bunch, but it was a bad experience to say the least. Poor management it seems. If management displays poor judgement, then anyone working below them will do the same because they’re not trained correctly. Be a little bit more mindful, reasonable and understanding of loyal long term customers.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of , LA Fitness Etobicoke Creek for 5 years and I’m incredibly impressed with the facility and the staff. The gym is always spotless, which makes for a comfortable and enjoyable workout experience. A special shoutout to the manager, Pooja for her exceptional kindness and professionalism. She goes out of her way to ensure members feel welcome and supported, creating a positive and inclusive environment. The variety of equipment and classes available is fantastic, and everything is well-maintained. It’s clear the team takes pride in their work. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well-equipped place to achieve their fitness goals!

Fantastic experience: This gym is clean and has great trainers. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I’ve used the pool, personal training and love that you get access to the private workout area and equipment for personal training. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Positive experience: Overall not a bad gym. But when you only have one leg press and have one person hogging it, laying back while scrolling through their phone is absurd. These gym need a cell phone policy in place. A 45min - 1hour workout, shouldn't take me 2 hours. But over half of the members decide to come to the gym instead of a starbucks to be on their phones....

Fantastic experience: I have been few of LA Fitness Gym in Mississauga, Milton, Burlington, Niagara. This La fitness gym is cleanest and well kept gym. Hidden gem in Mississauga. Loved it

Negative experience: Beautiful gym, brand new. But people for example, dumbbells, were all over the place. Not just not in their labeled spot but missing from a rack all together. Had a few papers here and there that were used to wipe down the machine just thrown on a floor. Also it was busy lots of people but most of them sitting at a machine and playing with their phone.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at LA Fitness! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative. They made me feel right at home. The facility itself was spotless, and the machines were in excellent condition. I loved that it wasn’t too crowded, so I never had to wait to use any equipment. The free weights area was well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. Plus, free parking is available, which is super convenient. There are also many great restaurants nearby if you’re looking for a post-workout meal. I also appreciated that they advertise local businesses near the front desk with pamphlets and business cards—it’s a nice touch that supports the community. Overall, a fantastic gym with great service, a clean, well-maintained space, and a perfect location. Highly recommend! I had a great trial visit.

Negative experience: Came here for one month and realized we should apply for work here instead coming as customers. Its easy to work as there are literally 4 people working at same time when gym is hardly busy and what they do just using their phones and just chilling. I asked for help to 2 of very busy gentlemen while they were very busy surfing on internet doing nothing and non of them even moved from their seats. LA fitness has to do something as they are completely declining in sales and still has these many people hired to assist but instead they just come here to use phones. #wakeupLAfitness

Positive experience: I really like this location because of their women's centre and how cleanly it is! I appreciate how at this location their women's centre is quite spacious and offers more equipment than other locations I've been to

Fantastic experience: This is my favourite location (Eglinton & Dixie). The facility is very well kept and super clean. You can actually eat off the floor. Everyone on the front desk is superb, very friendly, yet professional. I love to come in the morning to be greeted by Pooja who is all smiles and very friendly. She gives me a good start for my workout. Almost everyone at the front desk is lovely and friendly. It gives a homey feeling and good vibes and you know you feel good coming in and after a good workout. Good job, Pooja and everyone at the front desk! Keep smiling! It makes the world and the gym a better place.

Positive experience: Gym is good; they have a different back machine for lat pull down by the Nitro brand. It's my go to machine on back day! The other machines are good; I feel like they need more leg machines but adequate enough. Overall, gym is good, staff is nice and if a machine is broken, they get it fixed within a week. One call out, they need a boxing bag! Maybe if they take out some space in the cycling or put it in the studio... just my thought!

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to amazing staff at LA Fitness who helped me out with an emergency. My son's girlfriend accidentally left her purse at a fast food restaurant nearby (the Coach purse was her sweet 16 birthday present and it has sentimental value). We didn't realize the purse was missing until we were 2 hours away (we live in Kingston Ontario). After an hour of trying to reach the restaurant unsuccessfully I decided to take a chance and call LA Fitness to see if they would check for me. A wonderful employee named Jayden went above and beyond and ran straight over to the restaurant and was able to locate the purse for us. Jayden and other staff members (Pooja and Olivia) made sure that the purse stayed safe until we were able to pick it up 3 weeks later!! We really can't thank you enough!! You guys are such honest good people!!

Negative experience: They take ages to repair a machine that’s broken and it’s pretty crowded. Also the number of machines available are much less than other LA branches.

Negative experience: This place could cut their cardio equipment in half and still have more than enough. Meanwhile, they don't have enough barbells for the few benches/squat racks they have. And only one squat rack....

Negative experience: Terrible place to come and play pickup basketball, especially alone. Always occupied by the same group of friends claiming game after game and ready for arguments. Holding spots for people who aren't even at the gym yet. Very unorganized and unfair for people who signed up at this gym thinking they'll have a chance to play and practice. Today I waited 5 games to play only to get bumped by the same people I watched over and over again because 1 guy held the spot so they could all play again. Will need to reevaluate if this gym is the right place for my personal growth.

Positive experience: Staff gives out personal information to strangers at gym and are aware they have a predator at the gym and encourage the behaviour instead of banning him. Besides that, shane was super helpful during my time at LA.

Positive experience: Equipment is great, with lots of options, friendly staff. But went on a Saturday afternoon, the bathroom was filthy. Three different stalls ran out of toilet paper dirty. It was kinda gross. Not sure why the bathrooms were part of the pool area where it's really humid and not part of the cooler locker room area.

Negative experience: Pretty decent gym overall. Staff usually greets with a smile. Most of the times they are busy among themselves. Been a customer for almost 5 years. I got a one time penalty fee for being late by 1 day, asked for a waiver but the manager refused. Management is quite rigid. I recommend goodlife fitness.

Negative experience: I've been with this gym for a whole year now. great equipment with decent brand name machines, but the crowd is god awful. lotta ppl with bad attitudes, like their lookin for a fight. lockers being repeatedly broken into as well. Too many wannabe gangster characters here, like jacked up mr.clean.. if u know, u know lol

Negative experience: I’m not someone to take time out of my day to write bad reviews on businesses, especially ones iv been a loyal member to for 10 years, so this review is only directed towards this location and the outrageous experience I just endured by the “manager” ( guy with the thick glasses and thick Indian accent), and a small boy who is also Indian and most likely a new employee or “trainer” who thinks they’re entitled. Mid work out, while the gym was fairly busy, I decided to go into the big sectioned off training room to do some exercises on the yoga mat seeing it was empty. This area is spacious . There was 2 other people spread out doing their thing minding their business. As I’m taking a break after a set I see a young kid walk up to me and ask If I pay for personal training, I replied with no I don’t but I pay for a signature and premium membership . He tells me that the space is exclusively for personal training and paying clients. I looked over my shoulders, scratched my head, and asked why you’re going out of your way to bother a paying member mid workout in an empty area with no personal trainers in sight and 2 other gym members, 1 in which came to my aid? He said gym policy, and proceeded to ask for my name like he has authority, he’s the police and iv committed a crime lol. Iv been paying to train for a long time in these gyms. Iv been a member with GoodLife for 12 years and La fitness for 10. Iv only been to this location a handful of times, but all other locations throughout the GTA Iv been an active member. I have NEVER, not ONCE, had an employee come up to me in an empty gym room to tell me that the area is exclusive for only personal trainers and paying clients, never. Not once. Now, I could understand if there were a couple of trainers in the area showing new members how to do a squat or whatever, in that case I would remove myself voluntarily from the area so they have space to work, but this wasn’t the case. The little boy then decided to get the manager and asked what the issue is? Lol. There wasn’t an issue, that was the whole point! Why were these employees going out of their way to create an issue over nothing? What point were they trying to prove? How unreasonable and unintelligent they are? It was an outrageous display of customer service on both their parts. I mentioned what happened to the nice lady at the front desk and she was understanding of the situation as anyone would be with common sense. I decided to look up the rules and policy online for La fitness regarding the sectioned off training rooms they have at certain locations and found nothing. Even if there was a policy for that area, it should only come into affect if its actually being used by trainers and their paying clients, not when it’s a vacant space. I sent an email to head office in Irvine California just out of curiosity of what rules are specified. On my contract is states under SERVICES : “additional services such as personal training are available at additional cost”. It doesn’t mention anything on their website or on my contract about how a portion of the gym is sectioned off for a specific group. Better training of employees I think is needed regarding customer service at this location. If a member is working out in a vacant space no matter what area of the gym, despite how bored you are, or what power trip you’re on, don’t disturb their peace while training and tell them they need to vacate. It’s simple. That was a first for me! Should be ashamed.

Negative experience: I am a regular at this gym. Today somone broke my lock in the Men's change room and took all the cash from my wallet. My buddy's locker was also broken into and credit cards were stolen........this Gym had a very good crowd all along, but looks like some bad elements are prowling....Be careful and do not keep anything valuables or wallets in the locker, clearly it's not safe to put a lock anymore.......

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here, the location is clean and the pt trainers are fantastic and very informative! Damien is also fantastic as hes knows his stuff. Nicol also has great energy and was able to guide me in everything to do with balancing health and personal life with alot of informative and useful tips to keep in mind. Negative experience: This is a unsafe location , lockers constantly being broken-in to, I have personally had my locker broken into 2x and countless other members reporting break-in's.....this is a major problem at this location.....BEWARE ....do not use the lockers ,LA Fitness hasn't implemented anything in the last 3 months to deter this outrageous security threat. It is quite obvious LA Fitness only cares about membership fees and nothing else about you . User BEWARE !

Fantastic experience: The cleaning lady at this location deserves a raise. She works meticulously and non-stop. I saw her mopping the basketball court floor at 5am, spot cleaned a few slightly dirty spots (she could have ignored them), by the time I left around 8am, she's mopping the gym entrance door. Her hard work and work ethics make this gym super clean compared to other LA fitness locations. To give her credit, she looks like Southeast Asian. Thank you! Thank you!

Negative experience: This location has a serious issue with weekend openings. 3 times within a 5 week period this location opened in excess of 20 minutes later than their posted opening hours leaving myself and at least 10 other gym members on each occurrence waiting outside for the gym to open . When questioning the staff once the location did finally open the excuses range from "there was a mix-up in the schedule" to "no one left a key to the lock box for me to open the door". These 3 recent instances are not the only times late openings have occurred. I have been a member of this gym for several years and these late openings (on weekends) have been an ongoing issue (that is getting worse) that management either is incapable of rectifying or can't be bothered to address.

Fantastic experience: My absolute favorite LA Fitness location in the GTA. The GM and AGM Chase and Jason do an amazing job at running the facility. The staff is very friendly, the gym is well maintained, and has tons of options of equipments to use. 5 stars !

Fantastic experience: Best location I've ever been too. Clean change rooms and even in busy time there was no difficulty finding a machine. Chase (general manager) is extremely kind and welcoming.

Negative experience: This gym has gone downhill after 2020 and the inadequate management team that has taken over is majorly to blame. Seems they’re most focused on building their sales team and roping anyone with $50 in their bank account into a contract. The front desk receptionists are either too busy on their phones to look up or socializing amongst each other to notice patrons coming and leaving. One of the two water fountains available in the entire gym is broken every other day and takes weeks at a time for them to fix. Weight machines and cardio machines stay broken, unnoticed for weeks. The mats in the studio were ripped apart into pieces for the last 3 years and only recently did they replace one, now there is only one mat available for hundreds of people to use. All these issues yet they are quick to take a monthly payment and even quicker to try and contact you if there’s an issue with payment. To the management, you should focus your energy on these multiple (growing) issues which are deteriorating the gym instead of trying to reach your sales quota and collect a higher commissions check - perhaps it would be wise to step down from a position of leadership which you are unfit for and let somebody more capable manage this role.

Negative experience: PUSHY PERSONAL TRAINERS The personal trainer's approach is quite unpleasant. They calculate your monthly expenses, making you feel guilty, and push their personal training services, claiming you can afford it. They don't respect your time, providing a brief 15-minute session but persistently pitching for another hour, even when you've indicated a specific leave time. During one instance, when I needed time to decide, the trainer asked for my credit card saying when I finalize we can quickly process the payment. It's important to prioritize respecting people's time and decisions rather than solely focusing on profit.

Fantastic experience: Great installations, PT’s, customer service and management. The main reason I’m giving it 5 stars is due to their installations and machines that are great for triathlon and marathon training! Also enjoyed the mentorship and fitness assessment done by Kreen, and the spinning classes. My experience here is 9/10

Fantastic experience: Love this location. Clean, bright and relatively quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely will continue to use this location when I Mississauga.

Fantastic experience: People that are working are very nice and hospitable. Offered me a free day pass and would definitely come work out here again when I get the chance to visit the area again

Negative experience: The gym itself is comparable to any other box gym. Good amount of cardio equipment. BUT I would not suggest leaving anything of value in your locker. My lock was busted open, $120 in cash stolen and my Visa which was used 3x in the area while I was training. I reported it to the front desk and their reply was "I wish I could tell you this was an isolated incident, but it's not". The frustrating part is they could catch this person(s) easily by getting police involved to get video of the stores where my card was used then cross reference their own video cameras and could easily match up the person, but no one on their end, the stores where it was used or the police cared enough about it and this is why petty crime like this in their gym will continue unchecked.

Positive experience: I have visited quite a few different LA fitness locations and this one is one of the better locations and cleaner. The one thing that would make it a five star is making it a 24/hr gym. I think it would be ideal if LA had a few 24/hr gyms in the area.

Fantastic experience: Folks, if you are serious about your fitness, I would like to recommend master trainer JJ. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate guy who can whip you in shape regardless of your level! Nice gym overall, gets busy during peak hours. Been here for almost a year now.

I live in York and I don't train at the York gym because it sucks! always dirty, crowded and very hot. I always feel bad in it because it's hot! unlike this one! congratulations on the care

Negative experience: It’s crazy to pay $55 per month and none of the vending machines is working to get a bottle of water. The bottle filler has been out for service for more than 10 days. So what’s the point of paying for membership? The staff act like they didn’t know these machines are not working. Terrible experience

Negative experience: My experience at this location has left me feeling extremely let down. My expectations for a positive experience when I joined were unfortunately not met. The apparent lack of customer service skills and unprofessionalism have been disappointing. It's my belief that a shift in employees is necessary for the gym to thrive and succeed.

Negative experience: The new training manager is super unprofessional and a prick. And he is turning the trainers into a version of himself. Assuming and judging your clients whether they actually are your clients is discrimination. I wouldn’t expect that from him or the trainers as most of them are people of color like me. Weird thing is that he actually thinks that he is bringing about a change and being super professional. Switching to another location
