Fantastic experience: Great place! The 5 a.m. group of regulars was fantastic, which was when I used to work out. It wasn’t too crowded at that time—maybe 20 people at most, but the gym is huge, so you never feel cramped. This was about a year ago. The gym opened promptly at 5 a.m., and I appreciated their punctuality. The equipment was excellent, with professional-grade machines that were great for tall people like me (6’2”). There were 3 smith machines and three squat racks, and they were rarely occupied, which I loved. By 6 a.m., when I was finishing my workout, it would get busier—almost double the number of people. The women’s washroom was very clean, though I always wore flip-flops and avoided walking barefoot. Both showers had issues with hot water, but I found a workaround: turn the water on and wait about five minutes for it to heat up. Also, be sure to bring your own padlock for the lockers. Overall great experience!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this gym. The staff is great and friendly, there is a large selection of machines to use, including a pool, and it's a place that really makes you wanna come often. There's also ample parking available so you never have to worry about finding a spot

Negative experience: I was one of the first to join from the take over in 2013! Nothing has changed since, same cardio equipment, same weight machines, same no music on, same broken equipment not fixed for months, same pool always out of order, same revolving door of staff & trainers! They sign up young under aged Kids with no tour, no help, no instruction, groups of teenagers sitting on machines watching TV. I have trained in this area for 45 years and never been disrespected by a staff like I have been here! Seniors are treated very poorly here, I have many friends who have left for the same thing! I have been told I have one more chance & my membership will be revoked! Kids go up & complain if you ask them if they are using the machines or watching tv, I have been told to f off, spit on the floor in front of Me, when you talk back they report You & management tells you your membership will be revoked! I have brought in dozens & dozens of members but I will not recommend this gym again!

Negative experience: Please beware of the personal training program at this gym. The trainer I got assigned was lazier than me in terms of workouts. She used to introduce me to machines and ask me to watch YouTube videos for workouts. Within a week, I understood that these training sessions were a waste of money. When I approached the head trainer about cancelling the training program, he asked me to pay approximately $1000 to cancel the plan. This trainer is more interested in selling his personal training package and protein powder than overseeing trainers at this location. So, please read the entire document before signing the contract. The head trainer here (who is a good salesman) will never tell you anything about the cancellation policy. You have to a pay a good percentage of money for cancellating the plan. This gym is overcrowded every time. It’s also not well-kept. Washrooms and changing rooms are filthy. It’s good to stay away from this gym.
Negative experience: Well, the members are apparently scumbags. Went yesterday morning. Now realizing I have no cash in my wallet. We're in town for the weekend and the gym is the only place my wallet was not with me the entire time. Accidentally left my bag out of the locker with my wallet on top of it. My own fault there but it's usually considered common decency to not steal money from people's property. Not exactly LA Fitnesses fault but still leaving a negative review because I'm pissed off.
Negative experience: Be careful from sale persons i went there for annual membership i tapped more than $290 and they explained no need to pay monthly now but after a month they deducted monthly charges again then i cancelled my membership. I got scammed of more than $300 be care-full and ask them term and condition briefly they explain you something nd you get something carefull.

Negative experience: Beware of this Fitness Center’s Personal Training Program! If you're considering purchasing personal training sessions, please review everything carefully. The personal training contract was separate from the main agreement, and unfortunately, I wasn’t informed about this upfront by the general manager. I later discovered that some trainers had deducted more sessions than I actually attended. Their system showed that I had completed sessions when I hadn’t even been there! Be very cautious – your money can disappear quietly if you don't stay on top of it. It took me three hours to go back and trace each session, only to find these errors. Even though it was their fault, the general manager told me I had to write an email to the Executive Vice President (EVP). But when I tried to escalate the issue, I was informed that the EVP doesn’t have a phone number or an accessible email, and they don't communicate directly with clients. I strongly advise against choosing this fitness center! Save yourself the hassle and frustration.
Negative experience: It's been nearly 2 months and there's only 2 functional stairmaster machines. I've been asking them for a month on when they'll fix the other 2. Edit: They finally fixed them but it took 4 months.
Negative experience: I canceled my LA Fitness membership in May and confirmed twice that it was successfully processed. Despite this, I’ve continued to be charged the monthly fee. When I reached out to customer service, they provided a phone number to call, but no one ever picks up. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I just want my membership canceled and a refund for the charges since May, but it seems impossible to get through to anyone who can help.

Positive experience: One of the best gyms I have ever attended. Organized, clean, reasonably priced membership, great equipment. It’s just not 5 stars because it doesn’t have 24-hour locations. This is the only reason that would make me change gyms.

Positive experience: The lighting was not the greatest. The staff member was friendly and helpful but unfortunately did not catch their name. The layout is a square you'll notice. I only used the Wights and the machines there. *This review is not for the pool or gymnasium*

Negative experience: I canceled 3 times and got back 3 times. Not going back again. People staring always, creepy crowd inside all the time. Idk what to say. I dont feel either safe or sound in this place. Not to forget the smell of PEE inside the shower area like they’re doing ritual with it
Negative experience: Cancelled my membership because the washrooms especially shower stalls are gross. I only purchased because I was able to shower but not worth it if I can’t shower. Might as well pay half price with no showers at planet fitness at least it’s clean.
Fantastic experience: Recommend a female trainer Nadia! She is good at training people who are injured or have back pain, shoulder pain or knee pain. I recovered my liwer back pain in a month after training with her, and lower my fat rate from 34.9% to 22 % in 6 month! Thank you, Nadia!
Fantastic experience: My wife and I are members of the Dixie Dundas branch in Mississauga, ON. We have an excellent fitness trainer by the name of Nadia Najda. She is an amazing trainer, knowledgeable not just in her field of fitness training, but also widely on body physiology, good nutrition advice and has guided us with the best exercises for specific problems such as lower back issues, hurting knee etc She is regular, punctual and very encouraging. We are pleased with her.
Negative experience: This place is DISGUSTING and it is not the fault of the janitors, they are working hard all the time but when you have a huge gym like this and only one person working on shift at a time for a couple hours in the evening what do you expect. You will literally get sick here, not even joking
Negative experience: I visited an LA Fitness location only once. I didn’t speak to the reception; I simply swiped my card and went to work out. However, the administration canceled my membership. I reactivated it, but I had to pay a $40 CAD reactivation fee.

Negative experience: Please clean the pool ! Dirt is all around inside and outside the pool ! Mold, hair, chewing gum, some kind of debris floating in the water. Got inflammation in my eyes a couple of weeks ago when I accidently opened them under the water. The worst location ever !
Negative experience: Front attendant Natalia, ruined my family's Sunday today ! When I was not allowed in the pool with my 12 year old son. Nonsense, was visiting pool with my son for two years, and now, suddenly 12 years old not allowed in the pool with parents. Looks like leaving this completely unprofessional person to manage whole fitness center alone on Sunday is a big management's mistake. Natalia refused to contact operational manager to resolve the issue upon my request. Was visiting this location for 2 years with my family. For all that time never complained regarding the dirt in the pool, messy showers and dressing rooms, smelly sauna. But this is last drop ! Will cancel all my family memberships with LA fitness. Will find better company who cares about the clients not only own bank account.

Negative experience: I was a member for 4 months and recently cancelled my membership. Every time I went to this location it was dirty - there was hair on the floor in the changing room, the toilets didnt look clean and I wouldn't shower there. The gym floor is a funny shape - an "n", which makes it awkward to navigate. When I first joined they only had a few tattered matts. At any point in time there are always machines that are out of service. There were also times when the gym was so full that the back got all humid and musty. I told the front desk and they had to call the manager to get the AC running. This is not to blame the people who work there, I honestly think the members in this location are to blame.
Positive experience: Could probably get a better rate at another gym but this one is clean and has an awesome indoor pool
Fantastic experience: Great place to get fit. Our trainer Nadia (Dixie, Mississauga) is the best professional. She is sincere, caring and has superb expertise in her profession. I had a back problem and she helped me with the relevant exercises until I am fully healed. She has good advise on exercise and also diet
Negative experience: tried a free 3 day membership. upon entering the change room there's signs saying " use a lock" implying theft. I brought my stuff with me machine to machine. I placed my wallet on the floor beside me as I was using a machine and when I was done my set it was gone . They said they checked the cameras and saw nothing , so the workers are either in on it or lazy. stuff doesn't vanish. scummy gym with scummy people
Negative experience: Never ever enrol for personal training in this location . Especially with guy called matteo. He explained one plan and made me sign up for a different plan , Once I realise there is something wrong he straight away says I will charge half fee for cancelling the plan. The membership services number never works and customer service is the word which doesn’t exist in the gym. I never imagined a reputed company like LA fitness has such cheap tactics to make people signup to their useless plans.

Positive experience: It's pretty decent location Has a sauna, swimming pool, and basketball court but fair warning the ceiling for the basketball court is not as high as you need it to be for big shots and the sauna can use a little more maintenance than usual Other than that it's a pretty well kept location.

Negative experience: 2 members approached me today asking how many sets of Bench Press I had left. There were 2 benches free, but the gym is missing barbells so it's hard to do a proper workout with missing/damaged equipment.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean environment. Great equipment and swimming pool with sauna. I started my personal training a while back at this location with Matas O. Matas is a great trainer! He understand how to train someone who is not 22! He is very professional, observant, patient, friendly and encouraging. I was more comfortable working with him than I've ever been with another trainer. He made me feel relaxed and focused. Matas is completely gifted to have great knowledge for all body types requirements, especially to help with recovery from injuries. I truly appreciated how you'd check my form. I never once worried about my injury during the workouts. Your fitness knowledge is impressive. You have both warm, empathetic approach and have developed very effective combination of cardio and strength-training programs for me. I enjoy the sessions and am definitely much stronger since I started. I highly recommend Matas for a personalized, effective approach to fitness!
Positive experience: Has some great unique equipment that other locations don't have. Very messy. Weights are everywhere, and I have a hard time finding a matching pair of dumbells.

Negative experience: The absolute worst LA Fitness I have ever been to. The one in Vaughan isn't much - but way better than this one. I am ashamed I am paying what I am each month for sinks that don't work, disgusting bathrooms, excessive useless machines and too few high-use machines. If I owned this place I would be completely ashamed. If it doesn't improve will be joining another gym asap.
Negative experience: The change rooms at this facility are ALWAYS disgusting (6 am or 6 pm it’s GROSS). Majority of the showers are always out of order (knobs don’t turn, temperature completely out of whack, missing shower heads so the water spews in every direction other than straight). Garbage and wet paper towels stuck to the floors. Taps don’t work. Dirt and grime everywhere. Feminine products overflowing garbage bins. It’s pitiful. Dixie and Eglinton is 100000% better than the Dixie and Dundas dump!!!
Fantastic experience: If you are in pain or need help to improve your health, spend the money and make a commitment at LA Fitness at this location. The staff at this location will help you to greater health. Like every club this location is also busy in the evening so try to get there in the morning. I joined recently and found it to be a friendly and nice place to workout. People working out are friendly and focused. The staff I met were professionals. I met Mathew first and he briefed me on the club membership and personal training options. Imran provided me with detailed information and helped me choose a membership and the option to cancel with a month notice. Mathew is very helpful and takes personal interest in people. He helped me select a personal trainer and the sessions abd checks with me often. Nadia is an amazing trainer who motivates you constantly with positive stories and feedback. She has helped many people with shoulder and back issues including myself. I see all the trainers here work very hard to make sure everyone gets a good workout. I have noticed while she trains me Nadia will answers every question from others and give tips and advice.

Negative experience: Dirty washroom Dirty changing room Mold and meldew We kept complaining for a long time, but nobody listens It’s unfortunate that other LA gyms lkeep their gym up to the expectation, clean and updated. Whereas this one near Dixie is really filthy. I will be happy in future to change the review once the management take the issue seriously and start cleaning
Negative experience: Night staff are disrespectful, to the point where i cancelled my membership, equipments are down for weeks at a time, always some type of issue with the sauna. And god forbid your working out at 10:30 they will rush/run you out with an attitude because i guess the gym closes at 10:45. Go anywhere else my spirits are always drained when i go to this location. Do not recommend
Negative experience: I've been at the location for a year pre pandemic and recently returned for the last couple of months. This location has gone down in terms of cleanliness and poor upkeep. I've also gone to other locations to compare. Location is busy, with people of all ages coming. There are waits for machines and weights during busy times, usually from 4 to 730 pm on weekdays. Sometimes there is no circulated air and it feels and smells gross. Women's change room is poorly kept, dirty floors, the shower heads spews water everywhere and it's cold no matter how long you wait for it to turn even warm. Men's change room is also the same as from what I was told. This location needs new upgrades and better maintenance as well as improved circulation and smell. The only decent thing is the pool is quite big and there is a small sauna for both women and men, which some locations don't have.
Negative experience: Dirty and overcrowded with poor etiquette. The popular machines are never available or people are occupying multiple at the same time during peak hours. The women’s change room is not well kept. Staff are kind, but management is evidently weak.
Negative experience: This location really needs to work on its cleanness. The change room seats look never cleaned, the floor is always dirty, and the basketball court always has debris. It's not it got dirty after someone cleaned it. It's the same no matter when I go, whether it's 5am when gym just opens, or 9-11am, or 4-7pm.

Negative experience: *** Female/Front Desk/ Manager needs training*** Women's area is unhygienic. I pointed out several key areas, plus took pictures of the 4 inch layers of hair and dirt, garbage - and her response was: " yeah yeah- So?" dismissive. She is the front desk/plus Manager? - unfriendly, poor CSR skills and I will be escalating the matter on other issues she has in terms of her behaviour and language *** but since She refused to identify herself to me - Another red flag!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE FOLKS.

Negative experience: Dirty showers (lots of hears and soap scam), 3 showers do not work properly, some sink facets do not work at all, NO cleaning staf on duty, swimming poolhas only 1 separating lane rope ( 2nd rope is broken for months) - manager doesn't react on customers' complains...Very poor maintenance:(( Previous manager was much more efficient..
Negative experience: Poor maintenance, 3 showers in ladies section don't work properly for some months (one has only cool water, another has only hot water, 3rd has no shower cap), some sink faucets do not work also. Manager keeps promising to fix issues for months...Poor management= Poor maintenance:(( 10 months past - 3 showers still do NOT work!! Zero attempts to improve customer service and maintenance!
Negative experience: I’ve reported several times about the running water in the women’s changing rooms. It’s been about 5 months.. I suppose the review might give this problem proper attention. Plus, some washrooms requires some renovation as well

The women change room is disgusting, washrooms are always dirty and smelly, lockers are very dirty inside and smelly, showers smell bad and moldy. I pay 50$+ every month ( and also annual service fee) for this ? A lot of machines always broken and not in service , the gym ropes and other staff are old and nasty. Barbells and dumbbells always not in their place and you should just looking for them. This location is always crowded and busy. Some people just seat on the machines using their phone and don’t even use it and you need to wait for it ??? Now 2 times I saw big cockroach in women change room !!!! It’s so bad. I afraid to put my staff and jacket in locker because of it, I don’t want to bring it to my house!!!!! Where are all the sanitary rules and cleaning staff??! It is a totally messed .I don’t wanna go here anymore and I don’t recommend this LA fitness location
Negative experience: Terrible LA Fitness location. No AC, in fact I think they turned up the heat and zero air flow. Very few cleaning stations to wipe down equipment and no spray to help wipe it down. Bathrooms were disgusting, with no soap in most sinks, many sinks looking like they had been cleaned in days and hand dryers not working. Overall, unclean and unpleasant experience. Stay away if you can!
Fantastic experience: Had just been there for a demo session but had a wonderful experience. Very well maintained with all gym amenities
Negative experience: The worst customer experience with any gym I've ever joined! I purchased a personal training package that cost me nearly $5k. I went through 4 different personal trainers because this location can't keep their staff happy. Each time I was told I had no choice but to deal with it even though I didn't want to start over again each time with a new trainer. After the 4th trainer quit, I had enough. The manager told me there was nothing he could do about it and there was no trainer to workout early mornings like I had done the last 8 months and that I would either need to accommodate their schedule and train in the evenings, switch locations or wait until they hire someone for the mornings. An entire month went by with broken promises, many unreturned phone calls and nothing was done to resolve it. I had 16 - 1/2hr sessions left that I got screwed out of using. I even reached out to head office who told me too bad they have policies in place and I need to follow them. I have had zero results in training due to switching so many trainers and having to start a program over each time. A complete waste of my time and money. This corporation only cares about taking money from people and definitely does not care about delivering a great customer experience. Also, for anyone saying this location is clean, you're sadly mistaken. The bathrooms/changeroom smell and are disgusting, the urinals and toilets are never clean. The gym weights are never cleaned and leave a gross smell on your hands after using them. There is also no gym etiquette enforced with putting weights back. The dumbbells are all over the place and unsafe for walking many times. I will never give this pathetic business my money again and will let everyone know about the disgusting experience I had as a paying customer.
Negative experience: I have been going to this gym for more than a year, and I hate the parking bike space. After 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 p.m., I cannot parking my bicycles because there are many bicycles on top of each other, and this is a stupid thing and painful for your new bicycle, on days of repairs or renovations in the outside. The bicycle parking place was closed. I went in and asked them where I could park my bikes. They told me in an ugly way, put your bike anywhere outside, and then I did not return to the club after they finished repairs outside. I went to the club to see, did they add a parking place? . They added a very strange place and it is not possible to place more than one bike. The space outside the club is very large. More than one bike can be placed outside. It is very strange. I hope they fix the Bicycle parking place or add more than one Bicycle parking place and treat them with more respect.
Negative experience: Worst LA fitness location in Mississauga. No AC, the gym looks like an absolute mess regardless of what time it is. Bathrooms look like they have never been cleaned. Water fountains have been broken for months. I'd avoid this location unless it's the one closest to you.
Fantastic experience: The staff is very helpful and friendly. I met professionals here. Imran provided me with detailed information and helped me choose a membership option. Matteo helped me define my needs and goals. This place has all the necessary conditions for training and relaxing in the sauna after. After 6 months of doing my workouts with a personal trainer, I would highly recommend a Fitness Coach, Master Trainer, Nadia, who is very knowledgeable, supportive, and friendly. She helped me to reach my goals and motivated me to do it. Thank you, Nadia!
Negative experience: I am giving them 1 star not exactly because of the gym but because of the way I was treated today by a female receptionist. My son and I were totally profiled and it is just unacceptable. I am a current gym member and unfortunately there is no other gym close to me, otherwise, I would take my business somewhere else. Please do better!
Negative experience: No coprative saff nothing this gym i got membership last Sunday instant i change my mind i decided to cancel my membership i said no one listen there they making excuse that person is not available who activate my membership that the only person can cancel my membership that mean if you buy toyota car from the agency if any fault come in the car then you visit agency they said that only see your car by Toyota company owner coz he is the care of this company not by agency
Negative experience: It’s is disgustingly nasty. They do not have a cleaner, the bathrooms are filthy, their customer service, they ignore you when you enter. Location is good but everything else is bad. The other locations I’ve visited has been clean and friendly. Mirrors is the women’s gym, I could go on and on.
Fantastic experience: Been going here a few weeks and I gotta give a shout out to Riya Virmani…I think she is a supervisor or manager …either way she is amazing, super helpful and polite …
Negative experience: I am never coming back here. it’s so stupid how I can’t cancel my personal training membership up front, I have to fill out a form and in a couple months I can end it. I have financial problems going on, and I asked for some extra time…they demanded the money up front, they keep pestering me/calling me while I am working.Staff lies when you're owed money They say it's not their fault. They are such liars This is the worst gym ever, Staff there aren’t nice at all, so rude. The girl at the front desk…has so much attitude. She has no interest working with customers. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!!! I never had a problem at GoodLife, they were so understanding and supportive of me. I can’t wait to head back to GoodLife.
Fantastic experience: I love this Gym!!! My girlfriend and I use this location all the time, staff is super friendly and we are always able to workout without waiting for a queue. Amazing!
Negative experience: IF YOU ARE IN SEARCH OF MOLDING SHOWER, STRONG EXCREMENT SMELLING SAUNA AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES SKILLS, SEARCH NO MORE THEY GOT YOU THERE! Their showers are infested by mold on the wall, floor, and drapes... The water drainage hole on the floor of the sauna is directly linked to the washroom so every time someone takes a number 2, you can enjoy a nice strong fragrance in a close and small environment (sauna). And to top it all off, ridiculously low customer services skills (especially from Matheo) Anyway enough said about my experience. Take a chance and enjoy the adventure!!! Or find another location where they care about their work....
Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to a gym in 8 years. Signed up for my membership yesterday with the GM Biz. He was very professional and I appreciated his patience with me. Happy I made a decision to go this gym. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for a year now! All the staff are very friendly and helpful! The gym is clean and maintained including the change rooms, pool, etc. My trainer Nadia is the just flat out amazing ! She is so kind and helpful and truly cares about her clients and wants to see them feel better! Her nutrition advice and workout plans are very helpful! The time flies when I work out with Nadia but it’s the most effective workout! I would recommend this gym! Great location as well
