Fantastic experience: It's a smaller facility in terms of ninja, but the skillful and effective coaches make up for that. They have great kids ninja programs, can train adults and kids for fitness and/or competitions, and have very helpful staff. Definitely worth checking out!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing group of employees. We had our son's 5th birthday there and from the moment we walked in the entire team was present and amazing with the kids. The activities were fun and appropriate. My older son has a broken arm and they ensured to include him in as many activities as possible. What a great place to have a party! We can't wait to go back.

The gym takes pride of providing a community experience and regularly offers team building WODs and events, including volunteering her time for a recreational run club. Fantastic experience: Had a birthday party here for an elementary aged child. It was excellent. The coach was great with the kids, had activities for the kids to do, and had the kids very engaged. Would book again for a birthday party. Probably the easiest birthday party I’ve ever hosted.

Negative experience: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE!! I had my son's birthday here and not only did they mess up the time of the party 3 times, they also we NOT READY OR SET UP when we got there but the "coach" was like a 12 year old boy!! On top of all that, the course was NOTHING AS ADVERTISED, because they messed up and weren't ready my son and his friends were RUSHED through the play part and then during cake n icecream we rushed out of there during that as well!! I asked the kid if I could put my ice cream cake in the freezer or fridge there and was told that they didn't have one....yet when one of my kids got hurt he brought him an ice pack and they sold pop n Gatorade so obviously they have a fridge!? The absolute best yet was I was humiliated by the kid asking me in front of my son his friends and their parents 5 different times to "square up" on the payment for the party like who does that!!?? I do NOT recommend this place to ANYONE ESPECIALLY NOT BIRTHDAY PARTIES!!

Fantastic experience: Was our first time here but was by far the best birthday party!! Was incredibly easy to book, great value, and SO MUCH FUN!! They were ready for us as soon as we got there and kept the kids engaged and safe the entire time. The worst part was trying to get the kids to leave at the end of the party - they would have stayed all day! Highly recommend! Will absolutely be back! Coach Brynn was a blast - the kids loved her.

There's ninja classes for kids, workout group classes, personal training, and open gym with obstacle course/ninja gym for adults too. It's the atmosphere here that makes this place great, super fun and encouraging, with just the right amount of competitive to push you to keep getting better. Come give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: City Fit is more than a gym. It’s a community. The staff is phenomenal and the programs for both the kids and the adults are designed to get the best out of you. Every adult class has options tailored for your fitness level and allows you to progress at your own pace without feeling intimidated. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll feel it - but you’ll love it! Every class is instructor led and every coach genuinely cares about each athlete. My favourite thing about this gym is the other members. New members are always greeted and welcomed by the other members. We cheer each other on and even get a little competitive from time to time. I have and will continue to recommend City Fit to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Awwwsum experience kids of all ages had fun 3yrs,8yrs ,9 yrs and 10 yr olds and all their parents played too.We had the deluxe package so they give you 2 tables and many chairs,you can order pizza too,if you request them they will keep the cake in the fridge too.Clean washrooms.Great coaches.2 hrs passed by quickly.Will surely visit again.Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: This gym is incredible!! I just finished my 3 week trial and feel like I have been working out there for ever. All of the staff is inviting and accommodating and the people that attend have all been so welcoming. It really is an incredible environment to work out in. I am definitely going into my Spartan this weekend feeling prepared and as ready as I'll ever be!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her 8th birthday party here and it was fantastic! The host was great with the girls, showed them the equipment and set up an obstacle with games for them to play. Perfect amount of time to play and then open gifts after. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym for group classes, and they cater to all fitness levels. They break up the workout into fit-fitter-fittest categories and have you work at your own pace. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful if modifications are required, and are encouraging throughout the workout. The workouts are tough, but fun.

Fantastic experience: Every boy loves a good ninja course!! My son LOVES this place and its become the highlight of our weekend. He's in a spring camp and the teacher's are so friendly and encouraging. It is very clean and they're adhering to all of the COVID-19 regulations.... actually I'd say going over and above to keep everyone safe. If your child loves climbing, parkour, and monkey bars, this is your class!!

Fantastic experience: My son has been enjoying classes here for almost 2 years now and it is the highlight of his week. We have also had two birthday parties there and the kids always leave smiling. The coaches are phenomenal; always patient, helpful, and most importantly they are fun.

Fantastic experience: I've worked out here and I bring my son here to the kids ninja class and we love it! The staff are all very friendly and it's good vibes all around! My only criticism is that more frequent updates are needed especially around these Covid-19 times with class changes (or extensions) and when class time's are. I find myself usually reaching out and following up which is okay once, but I'd expect a bit stronger and quicker communication from a business. By comparison to what I've seen other comparable businesses do, following an update from the province, an update from the local business should be provided with 2 hours. You need a millennial behind the social media platforms.

Fantastic experience: I've seen fitness classes, and I've seen obstacle course gyms, but I this was my first time experiencing both. A friend and I dropped in to try out a obstacle technique class here. The first half of the class was based around OCR training, with cardio elements interspersed with obstacles, exercises that would prepare you for some obstacles (like pull ups and bear crawls), and of course, burpees. The second half of the class focused on technique of specific obstacles that we wanted to try–how to do them more efficiently to save energy and prevent costly slip ups in an OCR setting. They offer classes focusing on other areas as well, and caters a lot to children. The only drawback is that the cost is higher than the average gym, which I assume is because these are all instructor-led.

Their friendly expert staff will tailor suggestions for you based on where you are at & where you want to get to! They have multiple classes, for all ages, and all fitness levels. You can take out your weekly frustrations in a kickboxing class, or release your inner ninja with some hardcore level ‘Navy Seal’ type jungle gym obstacle course training! Give them a shot - you’ll love them, and yourself, for doing so!

When I asked how it went, he said that that he played games like dodgeball, treasure island and rat race and he was surprised that he didn't do any exercises. Such friendly and caring staff. Fantastic experience: I set very ambitious goals for myself this year, to earn my XWarrior Battle Axe and triple trifecta in Spartan races. I couldn't have done this without the great people at City Fit Shop! The trainers are knowledgeable, experienced and truly helpful. The trainees are also very accepting and I don't feel out of place in any group. The obstacles are real and help tremendously with training. "They" say people make all the difference, and at City Fit Shop they certainly do!

Fantastic experience: If you want an effective fun workout look no further than YEG's own obstacle course gym. I have been a member since they opened. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and has a knack for having the same workout cater to all sorts of fitness levels simultaneously. Come check it out, you wont regret it.

Fantastic experience: City Fit Shop (CFS) offers a superb variety of group fitness training that is appropriate for all fitness levels, and will challenge you no matter what your base fitness level is. It is an extremely unique workout facility, as it is the only one in Edmonton offering full sized obstacle course training. You can play around on 8ft walls, rigs, monkey bars, and a ton more. It’s a great fitness experience.

Fantastic experience: We just had our son's 5th birthday party and IT WAS AMAZING! All the kids had a blast, they were all able to participate in different obstacles and challenges despite their varied abilities and comfort levels. What really made the difference was our two coaches...they were truly on point. They were friendly, confident, knowledgeable, helpful and watchful but not too smothering. It was perfect. And no one got hurt. We would definitely book another party here again and are looking into summer camps. We also really appreciated being able to book on a Sunday. 100% awesome.

Usually we have to drag my youngest out the house, but he loved going to this class every week and seeing how he progressed on the obstacles. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facility and the staff/trainers, are amazing!! Was recommended by a friend to try it out. Loved it! Never the same workout twice. The trainers are there working directly with you, coaching and ensuring proper form. The obstacle course training and prep are a new and exciting challenge as well. All around fantastic experience and would highly recommend for any age group. Including little ones (special toddler classes)!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with the owners since long before they opened City Fit Shop. The owners, along with the trainers/coaches they employ are there for YOU and to help YOU meet your goals. This is a community, not a "gym" or a "box". If you want to sweat, have fun and make friends - this is your jam! Everyone celebrates your accomplishments and supports you through the tough times. Wonderful place and can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: This gym is the best community of people I have met. I have belonged to other gyms and done many types of classes and nowhere else have I found my tribe the way I have at CIty Fit Shop. I find the classes are challenging but options are always offered for modifications. Trainers are dedicated, knowledgeable and always ask about injuries before starting. They are really encouraging and will make sure you are doing the exercises safely and with good form. They push you to push yourself.

Positive experience: The staff at City Fit Shop is very friendly and helpful. Instructors are happy to give you technique advice, even if you are not participating in their class, and are instead practicing during open gym. There is a good variety of classes, at convenient times. When new obstacles will be included in an upcoming Spartan or X-Warrior race, Aaron Singleton in particular tries to incorporate teaching techniques for that new obstacle into his classes.

The kids Ninja class is amazing and already after the second class my (originally hesitant) daughter is much more comfortable trying these obstacles/activities and so proud to show me what she can accomplish! Both my girls said they wish that their school gym class could be this much fun! What a great thing to have such a unique and valuable type of fitness experience for kids and Tab is a great instructor, so positive and encouraging!

Fantastic experience: Tried many different classes on the 2 week Groupon trial. Very happy with the classes. They pushed me and made me work to be my best. I enjoyed learning new skills and it definitely helped prepare me and build up my confidence to compete in my first ever Spartan races this year. Great location too!
