Fantastic experience: I had the incredible privilege of taking Cuban Salsa classes with the phenomenal Carlos Reyes at Britannia Community Centre and I can confidently say that he is a salsa trainer extraordinaire! From the very first class, Carlos demonstrated a level of professionalism, patience, and dedication that exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for a dance instructor who goes the extra mile, pays close attention to your progress, and helps you unleash your inner dancer, Carlos is the one you've been searching for. As someone who once thought I couldn't follow dance instructions, Carlos's patience was a game-changer. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend rueda and casino salsa classes with Karlos! he is so patient and knowledgeable. He is very encouraging and will go over the steps as many times as necessary, always with a smile on his face, while we all try to learn. Super appreciate this encouraging place for practicing movement, as well as the parties he hosts outside of the community center for us to continue to practice!

Fantastic experience: Did you know that every Wednesday in the Summer there is a Farmers Market? It's called the Britannia Plaza Market. The Farmer is called Brave Child Farms. There is also various Artisans as well like Reward Your Skin-Soap Company, Nonnas Biscuitottis, Belcap creations, and Anna Chai & Spices. Every week's there are different artisans. What a great idea!

Fantastic experience: Super helpful staff at the counter who was very informative

Negative experience: I had very bad experience with the receptionist in this community centre today, January 21, 2023 at around 10:30am. I asked the young guy if I could use the sauna room. He said the lady changing room was under a repair, and told to wait for a bit, because it wouldn't take too long to fix. After I waited for a while, I saw the guy fixing the lady changing room walked out, and left the facility. Then, lots of ladies walked in to the changing room and he let them in. However, When it came to my turn, he just turned his back on me, and started chatting with another female staff behind the counter. When I asked him again if I could access the lady changing room. He just impatiently and didn't even looked at me, but just replied that the changing room isn't ready to use. Also, he told me a lots of reasons such as a flood happening inside the changing room yesterday, Something just went wrong with him. Why other ladies and children were allowed to use the facility but I wasn't allowed??? I already checked the schedule, and the sauna was open for the public. He is very unprofessional and neglecting for performing his duties. I feel very disappointed and sad. My property tax money should be spent for hiring a person with better qualities, because I worked very hard to make money, don't like to waste it.

Positive experience: A beautiful location with a library, a elementary school, youth drop in, and a bunch of other services run by sweet and caring folks.

Fantastic experience: Cracked my kneecap at the skatepark. Nobody else's fault but my own. Also Rick McCrank often said hello. Very nice place to be.

Negative experience: While Parade of Lost Souls which is held at Britannia highschool, has been an anticipated event for me each year, sadly it now pales to what it once was. This year I was alarmed at how hundreds of people were crammed together, shoulder to shoulder, and most were not wearing a medical mask! In those conditions, it does not matter that you are our side...

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Britannia pool today and was so great. The staff are incredible, polite, friendly, helpful. The lifeguards were super flexible and accommodating the needs of swimmers to allow more space for general swim , adjusting the buoys to give more room. The pool and change rooms were spotless. Will definitely be back on the regular. Thanks so much!!

Positive experience: Nice community Center with lots of amenities. You can use the swimming pool, steam room, hot tubs, sauna, the gym or even their ice rink. You can find the operations hours publicly on their website as they change on a constant basis. The cleanings could be better, but for the price and value, you get a pretty good deal. If you are looking for a budget place with tons of options, check Brittania Community Center.

Positive experience: Its a wonderful community centre.. It has everything....except food...but hey your on THE Drive. Skate ,Swim ,Library, Soft track and field.It has jungle gym.tire swing

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Crowded at times but everyone makes room and shares freely. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Gym is always clean too.

Fantastic experience: this place is a meeting place for after an earthquake hits us , so everyone get there safe and sound.

Negative experience: The man(Giles) that work at this center are darn right so rude and snotty don't wanna go there again
