Please note that rates are subject to change. Prices do not include GST. Vecova drop-in passes are non-refundable and expire one year from date of purchase. Passes are valid for pass holder only and are non-transferable.
We welcome all ages and abilities to enjoy our pool. Toys are made available at this time. Public swim will have one lane available at the 8:00 a.m. time. Lanes will not be available during afternoon times.
This is a family-focused swim time. Our warm water and shallow ramp are ideal for children and/or babies. Children can play with a variety of toys and use our tot slide.
All ages and abilities are welcome at our Rehab Swim! Come with a support person or physio therapist. A post-rehabilitation specialist can be requested for an additional fee. These drop-in times are designed for you to work on exercises from your physio or occupational therapist. Some rehab equipment will be available.
Bring the little ones to this indoor playground and play, play, PLAY! Equipment may vary but includes: crash mats, balls, slides, preschool toys, basic gymnastics equipment and plasmacars.
Come and enjoy a work out in our Strength and Conditioning Room! Equipment includes treadmills, bikes, TRX, functional trainer, hand weights and more. This space will help you meet your fitness goals without the intimidation of a big gym.
Nothing builds confidence like learning how to swim! Swimming is an essential life skill that can provide a lifetime of fun in and around water. Build this skill with a Red Cross swim lesson. We offer lane and cohort swimming and group or private swim lessons for children, youth and adults. Register for a program today!
Choose how you want to play! Our wide variety of registered Adult Fitness Programs offer something for everyone while ensuring your health and safety.
Come together at Vecova! Whether you want to practice for an organized league, run your community programs, or host a community meeting, team-building session or special event we've got the space for you! Your health and safety is our top priority. We have enhanced health and safety protocols to serve you safely and adhere to capacity standards at all times.
Build your child’s skills and confidence! Is your child having difficulty coordinating movements? Having delays in certain motor skills (i.e. bike riding and ball catching)? Having difficulty with activities that require constant changes in body position? Having difficulties with activities that require coordination of both sides of the body?
Our Empower Abilities program may be for you! This program is for children and youth with mild to moderate motor delays and disabilities. Run by our physical therapist, Empower Abilities assists your child in developing the capacity, skills and confidence for community sport, fitness and recreational activities.
Celebrate your child’s birthday safely at Vecova! Choose from a variety of pool, gym, or room rentals for a memorable way to celebrate. Fantastic experience: Wonderful pool and amazing staff! Excellent instruction for kids
Fantastic experience: Very warm salt water pool. Bring your own lock for lockers. Glad that showers don't run on a timer. Moderately crowded, but enough room to practice without lanes.
Fantastic experience: Great place to have a swim if need warm water. Too warm to do laps. Great ramp for Walker or wheelchair. Great for babies and toddlers or standing around in water supervising a swimmer. Cost is ver reasonable. Bring lock. Have warm showers. Nice viewing bleachers on pool deck.
Positive experience: Very warm water. Unfortunately no shallow areas for little babes to hang out.

Fantastic experience: A feel good, cost effective, well-run place to come swimming and also play court sports like basketball or badminton! The staff here are well-organized and have pride in knowing that this facility supports members of our society that need extra help. Not only can you play sports in the main gym or go swimming, there are meeting rooms, atriums, smaller gyms that are perfect for classes, seminars and get togethers. The cost of renting these rooms out is quite low and well worth an enquiry. Located on the North side of U of C there is plenty of Parking and easy accessibility. I am very pleased to have discovered this Centre and plan to find ways to frequent and support it.
Fantastic experience: Came today with my family for the first time for a drop in at the pool. Both the front desk and the person on the phone were very helpful with information which made everything pleasant. Even though the facilities were a bit older, it was still probably one of the most cleanest I've seen. The pool was the perfect temperature and lots of pool floaties etc which was great for my toddler. Looking forward to many more swims here.

Fantastic experience: Reasonable to swim. About half price compared to ymca. Water warm which is great for little kids. Once u are more advanced swimming or lane swim it will be too warm for that. Facilites a bit small and so busy sometimes its hard to keep floors clean. Thx for great staff and facility

Fantastic experience: We come here for swim lessons regularly and my boys enjoy their teachers. The swim instructors are patient and attentive. They give the children turns receiving individual attention while the others watch and splash. My kids look forward to their half hour lesson each week. When we come for family swim, there are toys, big floaters, kick boards and life jackets available. There is a little slide for younger children. The water is such a comfortable temperature. The showers are hot (but not enough to burn).

Fantastic experience: The pool is bath water warm and great for introducing children to swimming. The summer camp is well organized and the camp leaders are friendly. The children also get the opportunity to go swimming everyday that they attend camp.

Fantastic experience: Best pool to take your kid too. One of the greatest things about this place is the fact that it uses sea salt in the pool instead of chlorine. The swimming pool is also heated it's by far the warmest water of all swimming pools in the city. The only minus is the short window of hours for public swims, but that can be easily over looked. I try to take my 3 year old here every other Sunday, she absolutely loves it one of her favorite places.
Fantastic experience: The pool is heated 34.5 degrees perfect for little ones, they have floating for babies and infant life jackets. We love going here!
