Positive experience: It's nice to have this place in RH. But currently, the park is under construction, so kids can not enjoy outdoors during summer camps. Swimming lessons are okay, but it's very short. I think most instructors were doing their best. The big concern I would say was that washrooms in the whole building are a messy. Should be cleaned more than once a day. Please... summer seems worse.

Negative experience: It is nice and clean, and I love the staff, but when my child goes swimming, she barely learns anything. The teachers are a bit sassy and will pick on her. They will force her to do things she doesn’t want to do especially since she already has done an activity that will take a while for her to recover. I honestly don’t think picking up rings at the bottom of a pool is important.

Fantastic experience: Great community Center with plenty of great and fun filled activities.

Negative experience: Don't waste your time coming here for swim lessons. Barely any real instruction or teaching about how to tread or correct swimming technique, until you find out on the last class that your child has failed the swim term. I will definitely be going back to private swim classes.

Fantastic experience: Very good place for seniors to play Pickleball, the pickleball courts with good lighting and space at both ends, and more people are very friendly I enjoyed playing over there.☺️

Fantastic experience: It’s cheaper than a gym membership and a great location. Only $5 a visit and 25 cents for locker rental. The facilities are well kept and very clean. Lots of parking and wheelchair accessible entrances. This location is perfect for lane swimming and aquatic classes. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: This pool used to be amazing - not sure what has happened over the years and the amount of lane swimming they have is ridiculous. Could manage this by having time slots for certain lanes. If your kids are between 5 and 9 I wouldn’t even bother coming here. Unless they don’t mind super shallow water for a 3 year old. They keep you in the stairs area which is a 10 x 10 square if your lucky and you have to share that with other people? Makes absolutely no sense I will probably never come back here again. So sad this place is what it is now!

Negative experience: I've used this community center when I was young and now my children are also growing up enjoying all the services and facilities here. We are so grateful and lucky to have such a great community. My child's swim instructor is amazing and she absolutely adores her time here. This morning I walk in, the reception was very angry when she yelled at us thru the glass even though we were just walking in and just waiting in line to check in. I understand some people don't check in at the front but we always do, I am not sure how we triggered that kind anger maybe it because she thinks I look like someone else? My child later asked me what she did wrong because the lady was so angry when she spoke to us. I told her she must've had mean people speaking to her so she felt bad and angry. Receptionist job can be difficult but it also means it's an important one. Sometimes it means so much to be kind it can make or break someone's day.

Negative experience: I come here for my kids’ swimminh lesson. It is a good place except for bossy and unfiendly receptioist. She should get retraining what the attitude of the receptionists should react to customers!!

Fantastic experience: Large pool area. There is a separate shallow pool for younger kids which is great! They can become comfortable in the water at their own pace. The small pool is big enough for you to take your little ones in and have room for other kids to splash and play. The little whale slide is great as well. Didn't try out the larger pool but it was very spacious. Many lifeguards on duty as well.

Positive experience: Love this place. Since reopening in early Feb 2023, good experience. Water is warm and so are the change rooms. my daughter loves coming during Fun and Fit timeslot which tends to be less crowded than Leisure swim time.

Negative experience: Good pool, but not suitable infrastructure to accommodate large number of people/families in the universal change room - not a good idea to have kids that are wet and waiting for change room. No benches, no drying machine for swimsuit like the community centres in Markham. Time for upgrade?

Positive experience: The pool is great, but blue tile in pool is slippery. The showers are cold they need to turn up the temperature especially since it is a colder season.

Negative experience: It used to be great because the staff were great. First time visiting after covid and I was put off by the way staff treats people here. I heard the pool supervisor telling swimmers you're lucky to be here because we are so short staff (the supervisor himself had to stand in as life guard so I guess he's not too happy about that) Is there a management or budgeting issues here that need addressing? One of the life guard kept giving me a condescending look as I was teaching my kids the swimming basics, I kept getting that look from her at least 4 or 5 times, it was really making me uncomfortable, so I confronted her at which point she gave me a cold snooty smirk from her elevated pool deck and turned to my son to ask, are you ok? I guess she had issues with me teaching my son swimming?! This was the community pool I grew up in and I remember lifeguards used to be friendly and decent. Richmond Hill, can we do better?

Negative experience: pool itself is good. universal change room is not suitable for families and has no benches! Fun and Swim pool capacity is 60 ppl. We came when the pool was “full” but there were less than 60 ppl. Only when there remained less than 10 people in the pool they started to allow to enter. They do not care about people waiting with babies or kids

Negative experience: It was so damn crowded. Waited 20 minutes just to get in and the pool was so full that it was impossible to move around without running to somebody. Also the keys on the lockers did not come out and I lost 1 dollar and had to take my bag inside the pool area!

Negative experience: Incompetent pool staff. They told me openings were available, brought the family down, and was immediately told they can't take us. Apparently, they have NO clue how much work is involved when it comes to children and going places. Take your money elsewhere; these people don't deserve the jobs they were given.

Negative experience: Pool with a lot of debris! I went a swim for the first time since Covid lock downs started in 2019. I was looking forward to it. The overall pool area is very clean, however in the water---- I found a bandage, clumps of hairs, and many other small debris which I am too scared to even take a closer look. It seems that the swimming sessions are scheduled one after another. I am not sure if the staff have the time to clean up and wipe after each swim session. It's overall a very nice place, but I wish the pool is kept cleaner.

Positive experience: Very disappointing attitude from the swimming pool staff. I understand it’s early morning, but being indifferent and not willing to help seems a pretty bad way to start your day.
