Fantastic experience: I have been at the gym a few weeks now and I love it. It's always clean and smells good. It's not crowded when I go and I love using the pool. Staff have been very friendly and helpful .. keep up the good work!!!.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible is what it stands for. If you want to cancel good luck, they just keep taking your money. Even when I'm at my wits end in overdraft these payments are able to be taken out and put my balance past its limit, only to be told I still have a remaining balance owed when I've been contacting to cancel for over a year. *the gym I originally signed up for that was close to me closed and the only available locations are too far.* What if you don't drive to get there to "sign something"? They just keep on taking and taking, and it's more than the original amount a agreed on paying when I was in my contract 3 years ago

Negative experience: I do not recommend this gym at all. Customer service is horrible. Was with them for a year. Went to cancel and they are now charging me for 2 months and I didn't even go to the gym. Never signing up for a gym again. Straight up told them that I was not going to pay it and didn't have the money to pay it. Horrible. Just horrible for people who are just trying to make it by in today's society.

Negative experience: They closed down their location in East Windsor and didn't inform members. When I called to inquire if they closed, they said I can just use the location on Dougall. That location isn't ideal with my schedule, so I have been left with no other option than to cancel my membership. When my February payment came out, I went to the gym to cancel my membership & they said they're still going to charge me for March as it's within the 30 days (even though I went THAT DAY to cancel). So far they've charged an additional $55.37 on top of the $38.42 for February. The lady told me, if I continue to notice payments coming out after March to call back - the whole situation is beyond frustrating and a reflection of that business as a whole, would not recommend.

Negative experience: I definitely do not recommend this gym, I’ve been with the gym for two years almost now. It’s stated that it’s for women and half of the time, I was going there, they were men in the changing room fixing stuff and walking around. Even some of my friends have experienced that. Some Stuff are rude, and if you’re thinking about cancelling the membership, they will give you the worst time. You will never be able to pause your account if you go on trips or can’t work out for health issues, even for a week. They will always say a supervisor will call you back, and that will never happen. Trust me they are so unprofessional, and will never come to ways of making customers happy.

Fantastic experience: I was a member here many years ago. Love the fact that this gym only allows women! They offer many classes that are included in your membership, like cycling and yoga. Nice new equipment, and a salt water pool! Ohhhh and a spa with all services, how cool!

Negative experience: I registered for a Pilates trial class and unfortunately, it was canceled on the same day without any prior notification. I only found out about the cancellation upon arrival. Despite my keen interest in trying the class, I inquired at the front desk about the next available trial session. The staff assured me that someone would contact me later, but unfortunately, I have yet to receive any communication. It's disheartening to have a promising experience cut short and to be left without further information. I hope the communication and coordination improve in the future for a better customer experience.

Negative experience: If you want to go to a gym that values their members than don’t chose this one! I was a member for over a year when they suddenly decided to change location with only a week notice. I couldn’t go to the west location because it was too far from my house, and was told I would receive compensation. They changed their new opening date four times and come to tell me I owe them an insane amount of money for their lack of communication and disorganization. When I went in to explain my situation I was gaslit and disrespected. An absolutely horribly ran business. I will not be recommending them to anyone!

Negative experience: I had a traumatizing experience. My mother and I were at the shower then suddenly the lights were shut off, we both were screaming and so scared. It was a huge trip hazard, specially for my mom since she has some mobility issues. We were also about to be locked at the gym. I ran out of the shower and found the lady who was closing, and when i told her how did you turn off the lights, turn them on now, my mom is still in the shower. While the lights are still off the lady started telling me that she did that because it’s few minutes after their closing time. Instead of apologizing for such a big mistake and rushing to turn on the lights, she was arguing and saying it’s our mistake. That is very missed up. I emailed the management regarding my concern, but days have passed and i didn’t hear back from them. Very disappointing experience.

Negative experience: I already wasted a lot at this place they will always post sign for deals but once you sign up the membership they will deduct money without any reason saying that it is maintenance charges so I guess yeah it’s not worth it

Negative experience: So many horror stories about this place, I know a few people that had membership documents forged by the staff here and were then charged for months and couldn't get out of the contract. The staff is rude and pushy. The equipment looks old and it smells awful in there. I wouldn't recommend this place ever.

Fantastic experience: Great place, great people and love the pool!

Negative experience: I am so so disappointed in this gym. Over and over again. They don't seem to care about their staff or their members. So many things could be done to encourage success and to help their members succeed, and they just don't care. I am injured and unable to get to the gym, but in order to pause my membership, I need to give 30 days notice AND I have to go in to sign. In the days where you can buy a house with an electronic signature, you can't pause a gym membership with an electronic signature. Absolutely ridiculous. Will be getting out of this membership as soon as I am able to without being charged to get out of it. I miss the YMCA.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a membership for a bit but haven’t fully used it to it’s capacity. I’ve recently been going to class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and feel great. I love the new schedule that includes that class “body sculpt” which is instructed by Cassie. Absolutely amazing. Unless with another customer, I’m always greatly when I come in and when I leave. Good experience thus far!

Negative experience: Unprofessional owner/ manager. Just rude. Went for a membership to find out the pricing because she wouldn’t tell me on the phone , only to get members. The girl was pushing me to buy everything, I just wanted to use the gym and not classes. Wasn’t impressed. And very annoyed. Wasted my time there. Walked around and the gym equipment looked so out dated. Big pass on this one.

There’s every machine you could think of, as well as a good weight area. There’s also many classes that you can take with great instructors. Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this gym. The staff at this gym are incredibly kind and courteous and have always provided excellent customer service. The layout of the gym is very user-friendly and I really like the back room with access to the turf. The pool is large and clean. The locker rooms are always kept tidy. The location of the gym is great especially with easy access from EC Row and/or the downtown area. I would recommend this gym 10/10 times for any ladies who are looking for a top-quality experience. Fantastic experience: Did a few Pilates classes with Victoria and they were excellent, highly recommend giving it a try. The gym was kept very clean, lots of room in the change rooms and ample parking.

Fantastic experience: Usually a skeptic with gyms but Absolute fitness does a great job of giving me motivation. The instructors and staff are very friendly and helpful. Membership is affordable and plenty of options for classes. I especially love the pilates classes. Victoria is a knowledgable instructor and creates a fun classes every time. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, complete with areas for strength training, conditioning, swimming and more. The facility is well maintained and the staff are very friendly. When I signed up for my membership the staff gave me a tour of the gym, demonstrated what Absolute fitness has to offer, tips and tricks about using the gym and countless other things. Amazing gym!

Fantastic experience: It is a great space for women to freely exercise. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The fitness classes are great. Brandie is a wonderful coach who gives the students levels at each and every exercise done. Elisabeth does a wonderful Aqua class. All in all, it is a great place to be at.

Negative experience: This gym is the Worst Gym, not only are the staff rude and unwelcoming, let’s not forget about the out dated equipment and musty smell in the change rooms and don’t use the pool there, I used it once only and got a rash!!! Then try to cancel your gym membership and they won’t let you and continue taking money from your account knowing you are no longer using their services, even during a pandemic!!! I spoke with someone over the phone and explained my situation that I was having a surgery and couldn’t come in to sign my cancellation slip and they rudely replied that my circumstances didn’t matter and they would continue to charge me, so I decided to put a stop payment with my bank, then when I was well enough went in and asked to cancel my membership to which they said I owed $68 for they months I was not able to come in and cancel I disagreed with them and told them they were crooks, they at first would not even let me sign the cancellation paper saying I couldn’t cancel without payment, finally the girl let me sign the paper and told me I would have to pay that 68 dollars or it could go to collections to which I replied that I would fight it!!! But instead of putting the 68 dollars in collections they continued adding to my debt and charging me a membership fee!!! Then I was send a higher debt bill from them instead of calling me sooner to talk to me to resolve this!!! If you scroll through these reviews you will see many more stories like this!! It’s Shameful this is how they run their business, I am not the type of person to go and write a bad review if it’s not deserving but after seeing other similar stories I also had to share mine!!! Morally I don’t want to pay this debt, but I might also thinking of taking them to small claims court to get my money back after it’s paid ‍♀️ Do YOURSELF A FAVOUR,FIND ANOTHER GYM AND CHECK REVIEWS

Negative experience: I joined this gym 2019 and till now I can’t cancel my membership, I am not living around and I talked to them more than 15 times they just take my money. After 3 years they even charge maintinance fee and I didn’t see the gym in a year. Don’t give them your credit card number never ever or they are taking your money and you can’t cancel it

Fantastic experience: I feel so welcome and comfortable in this facility. I , personally have always found it well maintained and clean. Lots of space to move around. My only complaint is that some of the volume controls on the TVs don't work! No big deal. Price is fair

Positive experience: Nice pool, good but kind of neglected equipment, nice yoga, workout, and dance class rooms. Lots of mirrors. Really kind staff (edit - I take that back, some are punch-in-the-face worthy). You always see people cleaning (but sometimes you can't tell if actual cleaning's been done). They warn you when men will be coming in to do repair work. Most classes are free, and most spa services are well priced. They offer other health related services too (for money). The gym closes really early on the weekends though, and I feel that for what we're paying, that's when it should be open longest. Other than that, the only real con is the showers. They always clog and flood easily, so the water's almost halfway to your calves when you're showering. They're also moldy. Honestly, they're disgusting. So basically, if you don't plan on showering there, then it's mostly great for you. But don't do a yearly membership - they won't let you cancel before the year's over. And if you want to cancel your monthly membership, just know that you'll have to pay for one more month.

Negative experience: If you are searching for gyms to go to and you landed here, do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to spend your money. Membership is way over priced, terrible staff - no customer resolution skills, there is no way out of your contract without paying for THE REST of the 6 month -1 year membership you signed up for, quality of the gym is subpar. Only benefit is that it is a "for women only gym" - and I assure you there are far better options and female personal trainers /classes in Windsor to choose from.... do NOT choose this one lol

Negative experience: It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with these people. I have tried to cancel my membership since April 2020. They have continued to charge me for the membership, threatened our integrity and refuse to cancel our membership via phone - even through the pandemic. They have been incredibly rude, accusatory and honestly robbing us. I have never had such a terrible experience with any company in my entire life. These people will make it as difficult as possible cut ties, avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: This place is an absolute scam. Don’t waste your money. Staff are rude. The equipment is dated and they take advantage of their customers even after cancelling my membership. They kept charging me for months without my knowledge and made me pay even after I thought my account was cancelled.

The group and aqua classes are so much fun and the trainers are so kind and personable! I highly recommend this facility for anybody looking to join a gym where they can feel comfortable!

Negative experience: The employees/front desk girls are rude and snobby. Also, like other people have mentioned there's often men in the gym and members aren't given a warning which is unfair for the girls who wear a headscarf. Very unprofessional. Never going back to this gym again.

They are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable upon arrival. Never had a bad experience... Absolute Fitness West has a variety of options from a tanning bed, two swimming pools, amazing equipment, a spa and a sauna. They offer so may different type of classes I love it here.

Negative experience: I was just there today and there were several men there just walking around, and they saw me without my head scarf on. When I asked the front desk why they were there and why she didn’t tell me anything when I walking in she said they all for got. This is not the only time this has happened. This is an only women’s gym like they can’t give a warning when men are just walking around it’s ridiculous.

Negative experience: Biggest mistake to sign with this club. Taking your money even if you not use the place. I tried hard to cancel my membership after Covid cause i felt its not safe to go there i went to the club but nobody wanted to talk. They declined to take my membership card to keep charging money. Also even if your membership expired they will continue charge if forget to send them cancellation notice in writing.

Negative experience: Unprofessional owners. Requested to speak with them but they did not call me back. Charged an 85 year old woman fees even though she could not cancel because they were closed due to Covid. Very unethical. No customer service skills what so ever. Stay away fro this place!

Negative experience: Absolutely no regard for the parents of students in their classes. They'll rip you off, not worth your time. Better studios for the same price with more integrity.

Negative experience: Edit: I just wanted to add, for girls that wear a headscarf or have some sort of modesty standard due to religion or personal reasons to be careful, they sometimes allow men to come in and they don't let us know. This is extremely disrespectful, they are fully aware that they have women that only chooses to go to this gym because it is an all women's gym where men are not allowed to go in. Something else that I wanna mention is that they make is almost impossible for you to cancel your membership or to even freeze it, even with a medical condition and a doctor's note, so just be aware of that too. Due to all that I am unfortunetly changing my rate from a 5 to a 2 Original review: The staff is so nice. It is a very comfortable place for women to workout. They have so mant activities to do and even a pool!

Had problems with the gym not being open several times because staff never showed up, messaged owner and not once got a response. Spend your money on a different gym..

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful gym that can accommodate women of all needs. From the pool classes to the fitness classes, the new spin room, new machines, newly renovated facility, the Dance Studio, and the incredible Pilates Studio, there is something for everyone here. The prices are very affordable and the staff is very kind. Highly recommend!
