Hi, Ashley. I apologize that we were unable to provide access at your arrival time. It is certainly never our intention to upset our members, we are a small and local female owned business and it goes without saying your experience is important to us. With that in mind, as we are a group fitness environment, the experience of our collective group of riders is important and this is why we do not allow entries after the first song has finished. This is not an uncommon policy is group fitness, especially in an environment like ours where the class is dark, it can be not only challenging for folks to come in after the fact but can also pose a barrier to safe set up. Additionally, it can be disruptive to those in the class once they have settled in, for the doors open up, bringing light into the room and taking the instructor out of their teaching. All this is done with the best interests of our riders in mind. As I mentioned via email, I have returned the credit you used to book to your account so you can utilize it for a different class. It is of no benefit to us to turn you away, but we do have to maintain our long standing policy for the reasons I have mentioned above and it is with good intentions, even though I completely sympathize how it felt disappointing in the moment. I apologize sincerely if you felt we were being purposely challenging in that moment, this has always been our policy and it’s also not enjoyable for us to disappoint you.
