Positive experience: I really like this place. It's got all the equipment that I need for a workout plus a studio where I can do my stretching, etc. There are also classes available from yoga to kickboxing all in one membership. Even when it's super busy, like Monday evenings, you can find machines or free weights to use.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate that this gym isn't super busy/swamped with people unlike some other gyms (like LA Fitness). I can always get the weights or machines I need, and the studio area is my favourite place to exercise. I appreciate that it's quiet, big, and has all the equipment needed for a full routine. Suzy is an amazing representative, she made my membership sign up process as smooth as can be! She gave me a detailed tour before signing up and answered all my questions, no matter how weird or random they may have been. Thank you to Zaneta for my fitness consultation, I am looking forward to trying some classes soon and appreciate her well versed education in health and wellness! I didn't feel judged or pressured to be or do anything I'm not aligned with. Would recommend Vive for Junction residents as a comfortable and reliable gym.

Fantastic experience: I must say that going Vive Fitness at the Dundas location was a blessing in disguise. First of all the Yoga instructor Ruth goes out of her way with more than the yoga classes to make sure that you are safe and technically sound with your workouts. Suzy sitting in the office and greets me with a genuine smile everything I come in. She always makes sure that my account is up to date for a smooth membership experience. You will never find a more cleaner or organized gym facility in the 24 hours that it is open. I guess you can tell that I'm pretty satisfied so far with my Vive Dundas experience.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym in November and have been doing all of Zaneta classes. I look forward to my workouts. Zaneta always ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. Workouts are challenging but incredibly rewarding. I would also definitely recommend her as a personal trainer. Fantastic experience: I joined the gym 8 months ago when my doctor recommended resistance training. Having struggled with my weight for most of my life (was approaching 60 years of age), the idea of going to a gym intimidated me. Suzie at the front desk was very understanding and encouraged me to sign up for yoga classes. The instructor Ruth welcomed me to the class with open arms and in no time at all she had my trust and confidence as I began my fitness journey. Ruth became my personal trainer and together we achieved positive results beyond all expectation. My weight is down and I lost a couple of inches on my waist. Most importantly, I am aging with a new vitality and confidence. This gym provides a diverse community of supportive people coached and encouraged by Ruth, Suzie and the incredible staff who can literally add years to your life and life to your years. Joining is the best decision I have made in a long time.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym! I have been a member for 6 or 7 years now. It’s very convenient for me because it is within walking distance from my home. I do shift work and it is open 24/7 so it’s never a problem getting my workouts in. The staff and managers are always very friendly and accommodating. Whether it has been to bail me out by cutting off my lock because it failed (multiple times lol) or letting my wife do a try out session (also multiple times lol) to see if she wants to join, it was never a problem. Kyle in the past and now Suzy, are really the best. They are very approachable and do a wonderful job. The gym has lots of equipment plus a studio for classes. I don’t usually attend these but they offer classes ranging from cardio kickboxing to kettlebell workouts to yoga. There’s even a Latin dance class/Zumba style workout I tried that was lots of fun. Shoutout to Ruth who is a great instructor. She does personal training too. There are other instructors but I haven’t interacted with them. I’m sure they’re good too. I was a member of Goodlife for many years but I’m happy now I don’t have to pay for frills I don’t use such as babysitting or for the gym to be packed at all times. At Vive, I’d say you get your money’s worth. It does get busy at certain times but that is normal for all gyms. If I ever have a complaint of feedback, it gets addressed as soon as possible. **Bonus for trans or gender non-conforming people or anyone who is shy in change rooms: Vive has lockers on the main floor plus a single stall washroom you can change in. Other locations I’ve been to even have single stall private showers. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: I wasn’t satisfied with this gym in the first couple weeks as there are only 1 of most machines; super tiny. When these machines brake there were no replacements for who knows how long. Probably should have walked through before committing. They make you pay first and last and scan card all at once which is like 150 something. Even though I cancelled about 2-3 weeks after joining, they refused to give me back my last months deposit. Also.. before I had a scanner (had app) which I was informed by staff was a sufficient way of getting into building, didn’t tell me when they have app maintenance, were locked out of the building. They refused to prorate my membership and that of my friends for the day we missed out on. Overall most people weren’t friendly, I bit the bullet and pay for GoodLife now. A little farther but 100% more worth it and also 24/7 which was the important part for me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Vive since July 2023. I first spoke to Suzy, and she explained everything kindly and clearly, as I was looking for a trainer. She got me set up with Ruth, and I’ve been working with her twice a week ever since. She always keeps our sessions fun and challenging, she’s awesome. The gym is small but rarely crowded at the times I go (between 3-5pm) has everything needed and it’s rare that I have to wait for a machine

Fantastic experience: My favourite local gym, pretty reasonable prices, A lot of amenities, the staff is super friendly & accomodating, I'm especially a fan of the range of equipment, aside from the standard gym machines they also have punching bags and monkey bars! And the weekly classes are always a lot of fun, Overall one of the better gym experiences I've had!

Fantastic experience: Love this Gym! Non equipment highlights: No 12 month commitment or confusing pricing - pay first and last month, cancel whenever. 24 hours access with membership. They offer workout classes with the membership if you're into group fitness. Even at peak hours, the gym is manageable and people are friendly. Equipment highlights 3 sets of squat racks! While that weights area is shared between squats, benching, and other free weight exercises like deadlifts, this is a solid amount! I've been to gyms 5 times the size with less squat racks! Turf section with a weighted sleigh - again more advanced and not included in most commercial gyms Workout room with two boxing bags, Lyre hoops, boxes for plyometrics etc Overall, this gym is punching much above its weight

Positive experience: Good gym except it is very small so the popular equipment can be very busy and the wait times can be longer. There are only 3 squat racks, so it is sometimes required to wait for 30+minutes to use the racks. The showers are also frequently clogged. For the price, it is somewhat below expectations.

The doors remain locked for everyone's safety.I've never had an issue at this gym ever. I will say the owner is absolutely kind. Always smiling and saying hello to people. A lot of the time referring to people by their name. Which makes the experience more personable. In my opinion, Vive Dundas is the best gym in the area. Great membership prices for what you get.

Fantastic experience: I started going to this gym last fall. I appreciate how the equipments are clean, the women's washroom/shower area, although smaller, feels like I'm at a spa (its modern and clean), and there's always a supply of sanitizing products unlike other gyms I went to. The staffs are friendly, always have a smile on their face, and are always there to help. I love that its open 24/7, though I never really used the gym between 10pm-7am. This gym is not very big, but it was never crowded when I used to go. They have 3 power bars which is pretty good for a gym this size! Their yoga class is my favorite and Linda is a wonderful instructor who knows her stuff well and always makes sure you have a fun, yet safe and injure-free practice (I love to challege myself haha). I miss going to the 8am Satruday yoga, the boothcamp and the people I used to yoga+bootcamp with. Going to this gym is like being part of a community. I moved recently tho and this gym is far from my new place. If you live in the area, I highly recommend this gym. No initiation fee (just pay first and last), no fee to use the locker, has washroom + shower, and its got everything from traditional workout equipments, to a studio, and classes (ie. yoga, bootcamp, zumba)--all included in your membership.

Fantastic experience: There are heavy bags, there's a sled with turf, it's open 24/7 - these three things as a combo are hard to find. Love the vibe at vive. Gym is clean. People are classy. Equipment is premium. Bonus that it's close to so many grocery and food places, and close to many bus stops.

Fantastic experience: Took some getting used to after having been at a competitor's gym. I decided to switch because I'd prefer something closer and its 24 hours. The gym is a hard grind workout place, you're there to work out and that's the business. What I really like is they have a heavy bag area to workout something lacking in other gyms. Its definitely a place for people into serious strength training and not about the glitz and glamour. Very motivating to workout there.

Positive experience: The gym experience is good pre-pandemic. Gym, change rooms and shower were always clean. Had minor issue with keeping my account on hold which was addressed by Darius, thanks for the call and being prompt! If you are looking for an intimate space, in and out experience this is it.

Fantastic experience: Very clean. Less people so you will get machines free. The staff is very nice, kind and helpful. They also have different type of classes on going and which you could just drop in. They have punch bags, punch mitts, Boxing kicks pads and many more! For parking, there is Freshco just across the gym which has 2 hour limit parking so you would be good. The gym is open 24 hrs which is one of the best advantage.

Negative experience: This place withdrew thousands of dollars from my friend during covid and has failed to repay him for over a month after being confronted about the issue. They also charged me for a membership i cancelled over a year ago. This place is very shady I do not reccommend giving them your money.

Fantastic experience: Great place, very clean, something that I really like about this location compared to the one in Bathurst is that you train here since the air conditioning and ventilation are perfect, you feel comfortable and you don't feel dying from the heat, it's very pleasant.
