Fantastic experience: The staff and management here are approachable and professional. The wide variety of workout equipment is amazing and the classes they offer are fun when you want to switch things up a bit! Overall a great spot for anyone looking to get a thorough workout.

Negative experience: Signed up myself on the premium package and partner via family add on. Two employees confirmed pricing and set me up. Assistant manager called me later to harass me to pay more after paying over $200 to sign up, employees don't know the price of their own plans. Only offered to waive it after I got upset they lied about the pricing. Sign up fee is also very steep. Nice gym but scam like corporate practices and management, avoid if possible, buyer beware. Also only two squat power racks in the place with loads of other machines hardly used.

Negative experience: Need covid passport. Show your private information. Vaccine don't stop the spead so this makes no sense. Bad

Positive experience: This gym is very clean and the quality of the fitness equipment is excellent. The staff are friendly and it's never too overcrowded. The con's are that its still not back to 24h and allot of gym equipment are still tagged out of service even after mask mandates have been lifted. Overall it's a great gym but if you cant get there between the 8am and 6pm window on weekends, you will have to train elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Solid gym, shopped around all the locations and this one has a few pieces of equipment the others don't, and it's closest to work. No complaints.

Negative experience: 10-20 people lined up constantly outside due to zero effort to mitigate covid restrictions with bookings or workout times. Basically in line longer than you are in working out.

Negative experience: Way too small for amount of people that comes here, and too open compared to the waterstreet location.

Positive experience: I think that they need Tammy back again. She always had the machines cleaned. All of them need a good cleaning. I haven't seen a cleaner in awhile. I guess they don't have no one anymore.

Negative experience: Be extremely careful signing up for memberships with Goodlife. Their national coverage is limited, and they have all kinds of items written into agreements so that you're stuck into contracts, even if you have to move somewhere where they have no coverage. Sales staff is much more concerned with selling memberships and physical training than educating you on the contract. Seriously READ EVERY LINE OF YOUR CONTRACT. There's a fee for everything, and the customer support team couldn't be less helpful. They're preying on people trying to better themselves, and once you're locked in, they'll suck every penny out of you that they can.

Negative experience: Equipment is okay, but the sauna cuts out constantly and the price is ridiculous, corporate discounts give you prices that are more expensive than other memberships and they don't have an EMS discount or acknowledge any medical service/military

Positive experience: This would be 4 stars but the music is so bad i have to knock it down a notch. You realize the majority of your clientel are middle aged men, not 14 year old girls right?

Positive experience: Very clean and organized gym with the latest and greatest exercise equipment, tanning booths, saunas, large locker rooms with private shower stalls. The trainers are great motivators. The only thing I didn't appreciate was how pushy the staff is. It seemed like they were hard up for memberships or something. I've never seen anyone be so pushy or insistent.

Negative experience: Hate when gym closes for holiday, because you know next day it's not going to open on time. You wait for about 30 minutes and go back home

Negative experience: I went here regularly, it's definitely not the best goodlife in the city but it was convenient. The showers always had a funky smell coming out of the drains. A lot of the locker doors were broken off their hinges. Equipment was alright. I generally did not like the whole gym but it kind of goes with the crappy mall I suppose.

Negative experience: This email is intended for the manager of Goodlife Fitness at Headquarters. My husband and I joined your gym recently. We go to 430 Topsail Road, St. John's, Newfoundland as it is the closest gym for us. From our first day, we were shocked to see how unkept, 'dirty' the place was. We wipe everything off before touching anything but the place defeats the points in being not clean. The music is loud 'rap' and so distracting and unnerving that we came out of the gym real tense rather than a real-good-feeling from having worked out. I look around and see mostly older people working out, how do they stand it? We still belong to 24 hours Fitness for years but they do not have a gym here in St. John's so we decided to try out your gym. As you can imagine we are absolutely upset and disappointed. Can we get a refund and compensation?
