Negative experience: Staff is really good price is fair. But giving to 2 star because one of the racist gym member abused me spoke very bad word regarding my family and country and also challenge me to come out of the gym , but no action was taken by the staff after complaining so i left the membership. So i do not appreciate the customer service.

Negative experience: Super difficult to cancel a membership here. Took a month for anyone to do anything with the request so 2 payment had come out since then... tried to speak with someone and they took little to no accountability for ignoring the request that was made a month ago on the phone. They were not very professional or customer oriented. Blamed the customer because apparently we have to call again to make sure they’re doing their job… makes sense. Front desk needs to take their job a little more seriously if they’re dealing with people’s money. Was easier to cancel with a commercial gym than this local one. Disappointing.

Positive experience: Love that the new (ish) owner is actually putting some time and money into this place. Initially, under new management, washrooms and such were much cleaner than under the old owner. However, the last few times I've worked out, the smell of urine has returned to the washroom and it has seemed dirty. Would also love to see the bent barbells replaced, as it makes deadlifting very difficult when the bar is trying to twist out of your hand!

Fantastic experience: Great gym - freshly painted with new management. Has everything you need with friendly and approachable staff.

Negative experience: Loved the staff and the gym.But I had a misunderstanding about the shoe policy as I would Change to my gym shoes in my car when I went .One of the staff confronted me like I was a criminal in the check in area about it.Felt to awkward and embarrassed to go back so cancelled my membership .

Fantastic experience: Fresh coat of paint looks great and you can tell the staff takes pride in the state of the place. Best gym around, though, it could do with some more modern stationary bikes

Negative experience: $21.99 bi-weekly is absurd. Planet Fitness is $15 a month with way more equipment. I'll pass

Positive experience: Older equipment but reasonably well maintained. Nice crew and turned out to be a great place to train for a few days while travelling for work.

Negative experience: It’s pretty much the dive bar of gyms. It’s very dirty, it’s got a funny smell that’s not normal to a gym, some of the equipment is good but some machines are totally dead and have been for months. Some of the cardio equipment has been broken since I started going there the the summer past. the heater in the cardio room is either off or broken because the temperature hasn’t gone above 15 degrees since October and there’s a very noticeable temperature difference between the weight room and cardio room. I’ve brought this to the to staff but no one seems to care. I get the feeling that the owner is content with collecting peoples money and that’s about it. The price is the good but that also reflects the gym itself.

Positive experience: Well maintained equipment, friendly and welcoming service, showers could use an upgraded but cheaper than most places making this my choice for favourite gym in NL region so far!

Fantastic experience: I have to say, I am pleased with this facility. After trying a few other locations during the covid changes, this location has become a favorite. You can walk in without prebooking your workout time, which is a huge factor for me. There is a women's only fitness area, a separate cardio room with lots of treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, etc. There is a large space with free weights, pulleys, weight machines, etc. I got my first month for $80, and will look into the membership options going forward. The staff have all been friendly, and they have really been on the ball with keeping the facility sanitized and clean. Upon checking in you are provided with a small towel and spray bottle to wipe down equipment before and after use. No access to showers, lockers, tanning beds, or saunas during covid. But they are all available amenities during regular times. I do recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for being available for me during the 2018 CrossFit games. The instructors at CrossFit 709 are amazing. The Front desk staff are very friendly and there is lots of available parking. The people in the gym for very friendly and almost always smiled, said hello or gave a me a high-five. This CrossFit club is not intimidating and they support guests at their currently training level. I am originally from Newfoundland and I was visiting from British Columbia when I chose to visit this club. I look forward to our next WOD togeather. I would highly recommend this club for all your fitness needs.

Fantastic experience: It's a very well equipped gym. Much equipment for CrossFit and powerlifting, some strongman stuff + regular cardio and weight machines found at typical big box gyms.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. The Price is good, the staff are friendly and the gym is kept very clean. I go 4-5 times a week and have been doing so for about a year.

Positive experience: Good gym, Has everything you would want but needs another squat rack tho, Wish it had a platform or designated areas to deadlift so you don't have to be either right in the walkway or jammed between machines. Overall very good place to train.

Negative experience: The gym is bad for what they have, but the cleaning is very sub par. It’s like a free for all of members doing whatever they please. For instance one member drops their shorts and gets pictures of themselves in the main area. There’s a lot of shenanigans here. Skeet gym

Negative experience: Reps gyms rating is fake, it's two faced greedy owner takes down any negative reviews because he's aware how messed up it is that he treats his patrons, I recently had a 45 min chat with Roy the owner after I walked in the building to do my workout on the day my membership needed renewal I entered and with sadness the man at the front desk told me I had to leave, I was very confused because I had done nothing wrong had respected the equipment and all around the environment that was reps but Roy dosent appreciate the type of gym member who uses their membership I had been harassed by his staff for the week leading up to this hinting at me it would happen, Roy does not treat his members equal and will just see you as a dollar sign, Long story short when you provide metal plates for metal bars that don't fit properly with clips that don't hold the weight your going to make some noise when you bench 315, as someone who lost 270lbs and gained 120 back in muscle I can tell you I've experienced many gyms and a lot of nonsense but nothing will match the disrespect or the childish environment that is reps gym, it's a shame because they have nice equipment but you can't use it without getting banned (I'm referring to someone else who had a similar issue) ps Roy instead of crying over the truth and trying to hide it maybe you should fix it.

Positive experience: The place is showing its age but the selection of cardio and weight machines is second to none. I've never had to wait for a machine.

Negative experience: This gym needs to up its cleanliness game. The gym community could do better with tidiness - weights are all over the place.

Negative experience: Overpriced and horrible customer service. Was told if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere would not suggest going here.
