Negative experience: I had a new pair of sneakers stolen from the pool change room and my kids forgot their swim trunks and couldn't get them back. The security was terrible, make sure you watch your belongings!

Fantastic experience: Such a fun place g9r the whole family. Something for everyone, young or old. My favorite in the city.

Positive experience: Nice 90's style leisure pool with few annoying quirks. Admin wise, they don't let anyone into pool area until second swim time starts/lessons end, so crunch for packed family change room. Other pools let families through 5 or 10 minutes early, takes many that long to change, if not sit pool side. Would be nice to have expanded swim hours. Wish list? Bring back the portable basketball hoop to entertain 10 to 14 year old brothers! Duragrid in change rooms as floor gets gross [and more family change rooms] Wish the adult/main tank had wider lap swim area and proper deep end [Regina SSLC better big kid rec pool but lacks water slide] Positives? Inside water slide (into actual pool though), zero depth, sort of lazy river and great little kids zones for the 1 - 5 crowd (though could use a little kids slide!!) And WARM - if your kids lips turn blue at Shaw, come here **I wish City of Saskatoon would build a similar (near carbon copy) in Stonebridge and North East (NOT another Shaw center with recreation pool that is too deep for most kids age 7 or under (and much too cold for public rec swim) BUT double family change room area and have full 4 lap lanes (so at least two "lanes" for public laps any time - like Regina's Lawson (they do 3)). Leisure pool with better lap lanes meets public needs better than (a pending) second Olympics ready facility! $20 for family pricy, but worth it if few kids and enough to spend 2 hours

Negative experience: Not enough hours for lane swimming.

Negative experience: It would have been great, but a worker told us leisure swim STARTS at 4:45, so we went to another place and came back only to be told by another worker that is ENDS at 4:45. The worker that told us the wrong information did not even apologize. Really disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Had a birthday party at the center today and it was awesome! The gal working the front desk(Sunday, July 7th) was so helpful and kind!

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed a lot here with family and kids .The slides,the jacuzzi ,the kids fountain and most of all the person in charge in front desk is friendly and accommodating.Her name is Brenda ,Thanks for your excellent customer service!Will come back for the rest of Summer visits:)

Negative experience: Leaving a one-star review because I likely won't visit seeing as your receptionists are incapable of answering the phone. After calling back every 5 minutes because your automated phone service disconnected me every 5 minutes, I spent 45 minutes on the phone with still no answer and the facility is currently OPEN. Clearly you need to hire enough staff to have this facility function properly.

Fantastic experience: One of Six civic centres in the city of Saskatoon. It has a library, swimming pool, gym or fitness club and many more options for enjoying your leisure. It is just near Mckercher Dr People with Tax returns are entitled to access free of cost if they collect membership with due process. It also has access to payment. It is open for all and maintains access time.

Positive experience: New to the city and looking for somewhere to exercise this winter. Was clean with a good assortment of equipment. Will be using it and their group leaders.

Negative experience: Some employees have Racist attitudes, decimation, rudeness, and angry faces all the time. Initially I thought maybe she is having a bad day, she yelled and asked me to leave. a group of students heard all the things happened. said this was a harassment actually

Positive experience: Fun place to swim, work out, and do other activities. There's a well stocked public library with e-materials, where you can even print government documents free or pay 10cents/page otherwise. .

Fantastic experience: My 1st time there. With my wife and kids. And the kids loved it. I loved the fact that half the pool area was kid friendly.. like hip hight water. The dry Sana was good the hottub was good except for the depth of it and size but otherwise great lol. The men's change room showers were not the greatest but they worked.

Fantastic experience: The Lakewood Civic Center is a very big and adjacent to a park with football pitch. It is an elevated location that encourages a gradient view of locations around it.

Negative experience: The pool is great but the universal change room is disgusting. I took my daughter there two weeks, every day. It seemed that nobody cleaned the change rooms at all.

Negative experience: Change rooms were absolutely disgusting. There was 3 piles of poop in the showers/bathrooms. Would not go back or even step foot in there again

Positive experience: Love it. Slide is fun when you get to the bottom of the slide your head will go underwater nearly always though. Sad they got rid of the baby slide from the baby side of the pool. They have floating mats which is very useful they sadly don't have life vests though

Negative experience: Avoid the weight room between 3 to 5. Kids come in taking selfies, don't wipe equipment and sit around hanging out. Staff don't monitor the area so it's a high school hangout. Really sucks for people trying to work out. Do better Lakewood!

Negative experience: I take my niece swimming regularly and was expecting this location to be one of the cleanest. To be honest, the change room was absolutely disgusting and the toilet area was even worse. The pool itself is nice but our experience was completely ruined because I couldn’t help but think of all the disgusting things all over the change room floor being tracked into the pool Majorly needs to be monitored more throughly.

Negative experience: Nice place and pool YES. But someone got my AF1 awhile ago, I'm so disappointed even though there is a CCTV they still stole my shoes. I just reported it, but I know they will not bring it back to me.. No one is answering my phone calls, Change your phone number here if your not using it, I've been calling 5x and still no one answers me. I need follow ups about my lost shoes!

Positive experience: It was fun, just when it was a family swim time, people that have no kids should not be allowed in. When this happens, it gets overcrowded.

Negative experience: The pool is nice, but the (women's) locker room DOESN'T HAVE CHANGE ROOMS. It's just an open room with 2 small (and dirty) toilet stalls. Also when we finished getting changed and tried to go to the pool, the door was blocked off "for cleaning" so that we couldn't leave the change room and there wasn't even anyone cleaning in there anyways. Also the hot tub was way too hot (couldn't even sit in it - just had our feet in) and somehow was still full of toddlers swimming around in it.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting. The change rooms were so filthy. There was only one hot tub, due to their rules of only 20 people in it and no one getting out of it, my family never got to use it. I'd rather go anywhere else.

Positive experience: Good kid friendly pool, very busy on Saturday afternoons. Staff are really nice, keep the place clean, manager is especially nice and helpful. Waterslide, lazy river, and shallow toddler area. Also has gums and work out room, bug I have only ever used the pool for my kids. Only reason it's not 5 is cause it's so busy on Saturday afternoons when I typically go. Again, staff are great!!

Fantastic experience: I use the leisure pass at Lakewood civic center, and it has been a sweet experience. While I haven't used the pool, the gym or the sauna yet, I've been getting way more than my money's worth by attending the fitness classes. I attend Glenn's classes on the weekdays. He's so good at what he does, that I have now routinely decided to attend all his classes offered. The classes are done at your own pace- older and less fit people benefit greatly. I used to be a sedentary person, but using this pass has ushered in a new year of health. My mind is clearer, my mood is brighter, and my whole being is better. The weights are good, mats are clean, environment is clean too, with lots of parking spots. Thank you Lakewood for these amazing classes, And thank you Glenn for all you do.

Fantastic experience: I love the civic centres in Saskatoon. I enjoy working out here, but Lakewood has a lot of options. Likely best for families, but enjoyable for all.

Positive experience: I like going this civic center.Usually for the pool that has a waterslide,sauna,whirlpool and hot tub.There is also the gymnasium,wight room and library witch are very good and well equipped .I have Nothing to say bad about this Civic Center.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place for whole family. The pool's very nice and warm, even during harsh winter time. And the water slide is the best!! Changing room is big and clean. Showers are warm. Lots of equipment in cardio room There is one window of cardio room facing the pool, which is a good design when you go running while your families go to pool.

Positive experience: The leisure pass is a great deal for using the gym and pool. I just find there are a couple areas that could use some improvement that would be beneficial for the leisure pass holders. It’s extremely inconvenient when the change rooms get locked in the middle of the day for cleaning. Having lockers in the hallway like Lawson Civic Centre, in the entrance of the cardio or weight room or just the regular bathrooms to avoid having to walk through a wet change room when all I need to do is lock up my personal belongings when the change rooms are locked or just for another option would be a great improvement. It would also be nice if it was monitored more closely for children abusing the machines in both the cardio and weight rooms when the equipment is already so limited. And one last thing is not putting signs in front of the cardio or weight room saying no entry because of cleaning when there is still 20-30 minutes left until closing to the public. I’d be happy to email whoever could help and take into consideration these issues or if there are any places to submit suggestions to improve the overall experience.

Positive experience: Its a really good experience, I like the facility and the workout equipment. The Sauna is really big, this has pros and cons. There is only one hot tub. I would highly suggest that the city look at putting a second hot tub in the facility if that would be at all possible. There needs to be more public swim hours or at least a way to access the hot tub and pool while lessons are happening. Anyway I hope all you guys see this and make some changes

But covid restrictions are over.. when I asked your reception staff to put chairs back in the hallway bc I’m disabled and in pain and it would be easier I was told they can’t and I need to contact a higher up. Negative experience: The male changeroom is always dirty the floor is covered in dirt as people walk by, they never come around to wash it away they leave it until the end of the day to wash the floors which is disgusting.

Negative experience: We called a day ahead of their schedule, second day Morning we went there but they told us come back in the afternoon , because they are having swimming class. Very bad experience!

Positive experience: My only place to enjoy swimming, using this facility for the last 2 years. I wish if the Lane Swimming have more slots (not just 2 hours early mornings). With the lift of Covid restriction, we have more people using the pool, making the water so dirty. Needs proper clearing and filterizatoin regularly as Covid is still here.
