Welcome to the Club de Judo du Haut-Richelieu, a premier martial arts institution located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu with a rich history spanning over three decades. Accredited by the City of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and officially recognized by Judo Québec, our dojo stands as one of the largest and most respected judo clubs in Quebec. We are proud to be certified by the Association of the Blind Quebec for inclusive teaching to visually impaired members and our instructors are specially trained to support athletes with behavioral challenges, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

Our mission extends beyond physical training; we are dedicated to instilling core values such as respect, discipline, loyalty, and self-control in students of all ages and skill levels. From toddlers as young as four up to adults, our comprehensive program covers traditional judo, Judo-Jujutsu, and self-defense. We emphasize the importance of the "code of honor," fostering personal development, psychological balance, and physical health through rigorous yet accessible training. Whether you are looking to compete at a provincial or national level, improve your fitness, or simply learn self-defense, our club offers a pathway for everyone.

We offer a wide variety of classes tailored to different age groups and interests, including specific after-school programs for elementary students (3rd to 6th grade) held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our schedule includes early morning sessions for adults, evening classes for teens, and specialized Kata training for those interested in the artistic and technical aspects of judo. Beyond the mats, we provide valuable supplementary services such as physiotherapy, nutrition advice, and academic support, making us a holistic hub for martial arts and personal growth. Fantastic experience: An amazing facility that I've had the pleasure of visiting twice in the last year. It's every judo instructor's dream to have access to such a perfectly set up place with a wide mat area, and traditional artifacts and honorariums celebrating the martial arts and judo. Very skilled and highly organized instructors.
