Positive experience: Well great staff great owner . Really sad it didn't make it through covid .

Positive experience: Decent gym. 8$/day drop-ins, which are expensive compared to the better equipped rec center that includes hot tub, pool, and newer equipment. Not by any means a bad gym. You'll definitely get your workout done here for sure. Just can't give it a 5 .

Fantastic experience: As a stroke survivor I look for a clean, well equipped and maintained gym with a friendly and helpful staff. Avid fitness checks all the boxes. I am so grateful to have such a great locally owned gym in my community. As the colder weather approaches. More of us will be looking for an indoor exercise space that is mindful of the health and safety requirements to ensure a clean and Covid free environment for all clients. From what I have seen every effort and then some. Is being made to meet or exceed health and safety requirements concerning Covid My focus at the gym has been to maintain and develop strength as well as improve my cardio and aerobic fitness. Balance exercises and floor exercises that improve core and strengthen muscles have been an important part of my recovery efforts I need support for most of the exercises so i am very grateful that Stephanie Collins, personal trainer at Avid is working with me. While she is not a physiotherapist she is very knowledgeable about all aspects of strength building and much more. She comes to our sessions prepared with a work plan that targets each of our agreed upon goals. I can say with complete confidence, if you are looking to improve your strength, balance, flexibility or endurance Stephanie will be able to guide you through the process to achieve your goals. If you don't need a personalized exercise plan. There are many classes that are available, all recognizing proper physical distancing and other health and safety requirements. I highly recommend this gym as a go to place to help you make a healthy body as a part of your new normal.
