Positive experience: Avantage: directement sur l'île pour les habitants de l'île-des-Soeurs. Donc on s'y rend sans trafic. Propre. Personnel très correct. C'est petit, faut accepter d'être proche les uns des autres. Les clients sont des habitués. Désavantages pour moi: les heures de fermeture la fin de semaine (17h00), pas de machine de hip thrust, les 2 legs press et le hack squat ne permettent pas de descendre assez bas. Les machines sont plutôt vieilles, comme c'est le cas avec cette bannière, en comparaison à d'autres gym. Le prix est correct. C'est achalandé le soir vers 17h00, c'est normal, mais généralement vers 19h00, ça se vide.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 star, I would. I went to this gym and specifically asked for a four-month contract, but they sent me a one-year contract instead. Despite explaining that I’ve moved from the neighborhood, they continue to deduct money from my account and are now sending me collection emails. Very disappointed with the service. Double and triple check whatever you are being told there. Don’t trust

Positive experience: My friend and I just got a membership here and although everything else is great, one of the employees was very unhelpful and demotivating to my friend during her consultation. He made no effort to understand her fitness goals, did not provide additional explanations for the machines, did not give an example of a workout routine she could start, did not explain what type of diet she would need to reach her fitness goals, and made her feel very unmotivated, demoralized, and humiliated. I didn’t catch his name but I think all employees should brush up on their people skills to avoid situations like these where a client can potentially cancel their membership.

Negative experience: Je voyage beaucoup et j'ai fréquenté des centaines de salles de sport au cours de ma vie. Jamais je n'ai vu un établissement aussi sale, délabré, mal équipé et dépourvu d'âme que ce Nautilus. Vendez, rénovez ou fermez, car vous ne reflétez en rien l'image de Nautilus et devriez avoir honte de vos installations.
Positive experience: I though I purchased 48 tickets; paid $400+ and ended up with an annual pass where they wanted to charge me an additional $65ish dollars a month. Expensive? I bet, I am better off buying dumbells and a treadmill-MUCH less EXPENSIVE and without the BROUHAHA. SCAMMED BY A LEGITITMATE COMPANY. WILL THEY REIMBURSE AND... ISSUE RESOLVED. EASY AS 1-2-3

Negative experience: Rundown gym. Old equipment that hasn’t been updated in over 10 years. Lack of machines, only one set of pulleys! Also, whoever thinks that setting the temperature of a gym to 22C is psychotic. Too warm.

Fantastic experience: J'ai failli ne pas venir ici à cause des commentaires et j'ai eu un doute en regardant l'extérieur du bâtiment, mais en vrai, ça va et c'est très bien comme endroit. Le gym reçoit beaucoup de lumière extérieure, plusieurs machines sont disponibles et la propreté était correct (je n'ai pas remarqué de machines particulièrement sales).

Positive experience: This gym is decent but requires an update on the equipment. I like the big windows that let in a lot of light while you’re working out but many things break and they take forever to repair them. Tried to use the female sauna and it appeared to be broken too.

Un endroit que mon époux m'a suggéré et où je me suis inscrite pour pouvoir profiter de ses conseils et sa motivation .... cependant l'équipe de direction n'est pas de cet avis car il m'ont dis qu'il m'était interdis de me faire coacher par quelqu'un alors qu'il dispose de coach "qualifié".... j'ai beau leur expliquer que ça ne m'intéressais nullement de prendre un coach et que je veux juste profiter d'une bonne séance de gym avec mon conjoint ... mais je suppose que l'avidité prend le dessus... vu qu'on plus d'être le gym le plus cher ( sans raison ) il t'empêche de t'entraîner avec ton époux et t'exige de faire appel à leur coach même si tu en a pas besoin ....

Fantastic experience: Les commentaires ici sont nettement trop sévères, j’ai presque pas été faire l’essai du aux commentaires. Ne pas vous fiez à l’allure extérieur du bâtiment qui disons-le peut avoir l’air froid et sombre. Le gym reçoit beaucoup de lumière extérieure, propreté irréprochable, en ordre, accueil parfait, douches à pression, etc. Oui, c’est vrai que certains appareils ne sont pas en beaucoup d’exemplaires, c’est probablement un enjeu aux heures de pointe. Et petit détail, j’aime bien que les tapis roulants soient équipés d’aération, mais ça va quand même! Cela dit, je vais m’y inscrire et je recommande!

Positive experience: Mon conjoint et moi sommes très satisfait de ce gym. Nous y allons en début d’après-midi et très peu achalandées…C’est parfait ! Propre, papiers & bouteilles nettoyant disponibles dans chaque secteur des appareils ! Le seul inconvénient, il y a des gens qui ne nettoient pas l’appareil après utilisation par oubli ou volontaire, nous ne prenons plus de chance, on nettoie avant et après. Cette situation est dans tous les gyms et non seulement a l’Ile-des-soeurs. Les coachs sont très gentils et compétents (Audrey & Esteban).

Negative experience: big gym with lots of weight lifting options, however cardio machines are quite out dated! Some peloton bikes or threads would be great. In addition my biggest issue is the very poor cleanliness, at times the place is smelly and you can see the same garbage inside the cardio cup holders for weeks and weeks! Everything in this gym seems highly catered to French speakers not so English friendly

Negative experience: I got my jacket stolen from the lost and found section. I got so upset and disappointed because it should be a safe place and got scaried as well to know that inside gym there is people stealing things.

Negative experience: Cet avis date de 2018 et 2020 Il y a deux ans, j’y ai eu une très mauvaise expérience. Les appareils ne sont pas propres, il n’y a rien pour les nettoyer (ou si loin de l’endroit où l’on est et si peu). Et la musique est trop forte, beaucoup trop forte. Pas d’aide. Il y a un monsieur relativement âgé qui s’entraînait sans avoir payé un entraîneur! Il utilisait mal un appareil et il allait se blesser à coup sûr. Je l’ai dit à une employée (entraîneur) qui mal carrément dit qu’elle ne s’en occupait pas puisqu’il n’avait pas payé pour un entraîneur. En fait, je crois que cet endroit est fait pour des personnes beaucoup plus jeunes que moi et qui adorent cette musique très forte très... anglophone américaine... Et je suis certaine que tout le monde est heureux. J’ai hâte qu’un jour un centre sportif ouvre pour les gens calmes qui n’ont pas besoin de se faire hurler dans les oreilles pour se motiver! Ah oui! Quand j’ai annulé mon abonnement, à temps, mais, avec difficultés car on ne voulait pas me donner l’évaluation que l’on avait faite de ma condition physique et que j’avais payée Le gérant ou le proprio ou je ne sais pas qui s’en est pris à mon intégrité professionnelle après avoir vu mon site web. En me menaçant par exemple de me dénoncer parce que j’avais écrit que j’étais formatrice agréée par la Commission des partenaires du travail. C’était pourtant VRAI et j’avais la preuve de mes compétences et du paiement pour être agréée. Cela vole très très très bas.. parfois dans ce monde. Surtout quand on est un gestionnaire!! Honteux!

Negative experience: Big infrastructure,clean and good service but,the most important part fails. The machines are old and many times won't work, an update is necessary and mandatory. Basically, without trying to be an A-hole, they sale a name (Nautilus); not comfort when working out. I cannot give opinion regarding trainers, since I do it by myself.

Negative experience: vert very very rude staffs, amazingly unsanitary facility and outdated equipment possibly made by Shakespeare and most importantly the price is one of the most expensive in Montreal for no reasons I definitely recommend people to avoid this gym.

Negative experience: The Gym needs some maintenance the painting from the roof peeling off it seems nobody cares or takes care about this, the other day some of the painting was peeling off during my workout and any staff approached to clean it.... also I do not know why but the machines are sooo dusty ALL the time!!! poor cleaning dust everywhere and spider webs too. Negative experience: For my case, I only need a decent peloton bike ... The ones that exist are in a pity state. Since I pay an annual package for the price of riding an old bike, it's really not worth it. Positive experience: Great gym. Friendly staff, very spacious facility and quality equipment. So far I've seen like only 1 machine out of service. Very clean too. My only issue is the closing time. It's too early and I often cannot finish my workout. If the business could prolong that it would be amazziiing!

Negative experience: Je ne conseille pas. Prix très élevés. Manque d'honnêteté et de transparence totale. On nous annonce un tarif pour ma fille moins de 18ans puis le jour où elle débute on nous annonce un autre tarif. Soit presque plus de 100 $ par mois pour une adolescente. Forcing et mise devant le fait accompli. La personne qui se dit adjointe du gérant nous dit que ses 2 collaboratrices ne connaissent pas les tarifs et se sont trompées !!!!! D'ailleurs cet établissement n'affiche pas ses tarifs clairement. Bref à éviter. Heureusement qu'ils ne sont pas les seuls !!!!

Positive experience: Sub par for Nautilus Plus, I've been to 4 locations and this one is just 'okay'. It's comparable in size to other locations and parking is free, however some of the equipment is getting kind of old. The biggest downside for that gym is that it has no humidity control whatsoever. They do have air conditioning but I was soaking wet after just a few minutes on the treadmill. Then you go to do your workout and it's even worse, I feel like I was melting in a puddle of sweat. It's just insane and they seriously need to do something about it.

Negative experience: Old equipment. Quite dirty most of the time. They removed one of the cable stations to put in some monkey bars that no one is using.... now there is a constant line up to the cables at the only station that is left. Lastly the equipment is all over the place and the staff don’t care putting it back. If you come first thing in the morning you end up looking for different attachments for cable rack and moving benches that has been left all over from previous day. It is also overcrouded during the day. Finally fed up and found another gym half way through my paid annual membership. Needless to say they will still charge me for half a year.... This gym really not worth considering. P.S. My review is not an opinion those are facts based on my experience attending this gym for over two years.... I could provide my opinion as well... Two weeks later no one reached out by the way... shows you how much they care... I am sure I will get a call and a letter when my membership is about to expire...

Positive experience: A pretty decent place to go train. The fact that the gym is not too crowded when I go is an added benefit, along with its proximity. The only downside is the price of private sessions which is, in my opinion, way too hight for how much they pay the trainers themselfs. Lowering the prices a lot would help attract more customers.

Positive experience: Super équipe ! Super Gym ! C'est juste le choix et la disponibilité des cours de groupe qui est un peu limité.
Positive experience: Équipement en quantité et assez neuf. La salle de spinning à l'étage est bien aérée.
Negative experience: Ne prenne pas la clientèle au sérieux. J'ai subi un accident malencontreux dans le gym et j'ai indiqué à la direction ce qui était survenu. Je leur ai fait des suggestions à coûts nuls pour réduire cet type d'accidents et personne a donné suite. Type de gestion où l'on veut de la clientèle tranquille qui paie et pose pas trop de questions.

Positive experience: Staff is friendly, equipment is old but they are always buying new additions. Never gets too crowded. Gets the job done.
Positive experience: Overall reasonable gym for the price, old equipment and pretty small though
Negative experience: I've been subscribed to this gym since 2011 or 2010. I renew my subscription yearly. This year I went to renew and they told me they changed their software and now I owe them 250$ from 2011. How come this is the first time I hear about this? Maybe they want to pay off their new software. Either way, I won't pay this imaginary money nor will I register again. I've never liked this gym as it is one of the most expensive gyms and the quality is bad less than mediocre. Old and used equipment, unable to wear wifebeaters and worst of all they force you to register for classes you will never use anyway. I was registered as I was going with friends and it's just more fun. But I'd rather go elsewhere under such redicilous circumstances.

Positive experience: Pas Trop occupé et de très bon cours de groupe.
Positive experience: Moins moderne que plusieurs autres gyms, mais se trouve dans un beau coin de la ville. Offre deux étages et beaucoup de fenêtres. Comme point négatif, certaines machines sont vielles et moins moderne. À ce prix, on s'attend à avoir des machines de qualité supérieure. Pour l'instant, un econofitness a des machines aussi bonnes sinon meilleurs que Nautilus IdS.

Positive experience: Very large gym, although I wouldn't recommend to go at Peak times. Since its located on l'île-des-soeurs, it can get very busy at certain times. Otherwise the service is "ok"
Negative experience: Prix très élevé pour la qualité de l'équipement et le décor désuet. Une des poulies a débarqué de son mécanisme durant l'entrainement et a provoqué un accident. Aucun suivi de la direction suite à l'accident. D'autres équipements de cardio ne sont pas ajustés correctement. Le service a la clientèle n'est pas au rendez-vous. Je suis un ancien membre et j'ai fréquenté cet établissement pendant plus de 8 ans et il y a eu une détérioration dans la qualité du centre et du service. Je ne recommande pas ce centre d'entrainement.
