Fantastic experience: This is the best GoodLife fitness I have been to. The only thing missing that would make it great is natural light coming in. Otherwise; they have tons of equipment, lots of lifting platforms/racks and quite a few unique machines (loads of attachments) that you just don’t see at other gyms. Much better, way less crowded than Masonville. The to-go for sure!

Negative experience: Compared to the other locations in London the Sherwood location is very disappointing, especially considering it is closest to my end of the city. It's extremely busy from 5-10. The selection of equipment is okay but lacking compared to other clubs in the city. The clientele is awful compared to other clubs in the city (though I understand this isn't the club's fault). Now the sauna (an amenity I use daily) has been down for 2 weeks and will be down for an indeterminant amount of time. I would cancel my membership if there were any other decent options but for now I'll have to find a new home club. Would not recommend unless you are a getting a free membership.

Negative experience: The WiFi at this gym doesn’t work at all. Despite notifying the staff multiple times, the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Reliable internet is important for streaming music, following workout apps, and other activities, so this has been quite frustrating. Hoping they address this soon.

Fantastic experience: By far one of the best gyms I’ve been to. I’ve been to the Masonville location but I’m very happy I chose this one as my main location. I switched from the westmount fit4less after a year and let me say the difference in clientele, service, and quality is incredible. I can’t compare the two because of how great this place is. I rave about this place to all my friends all the time. It’s truly an amazing experience each time I come here. The cleanliness and quality of machines is so much better than Fit4Less. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve made so many friends and I absolutely love the women’s only section. I’m thrilled to continue with my fitness journey here!

Fantastic experience: Great gym, but someone has to monitor the high school kids. Biggest problem being they occupy a major piece of equipment, head buried in their phones, for almost half an hour and in my case, I have to skip that part of my workout. Please help!

Negative experience: Be Careful Of JOE WHITE THE TRAINING MANAGER he is a Swindler who Sold me 156 workout Sessions when I asked for a few starter sessions without me knowing. Be careful read your contract. He takes advantage of new members.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly clean facility that seems to be maintained quite well. Taking one star off because some of the equipment like the barbells and weight plates are quite old. Edit: huge renovation and everything has been updated

Negative experience: Beware of this location and other Goodlife Locations. There seems to be a certain member that likes to take videos and catches other people in his videos and I have addressed this problem to Goodlife and the manager of this location and the mangers of the other locations but it still seems to happen and I have emailed them but I am still waiting for a response to see if this has been taken care off.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with great facilities, everything you could need. Spencer is the man, he gave us a great tour , got us on a package that suited our needs, and was a great guy to give us an intro to the gym. Good community feel in the gym thanks to good staff like Spencer and the others there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for just over 6 months now and it’s fantastic. It’s pretty big inside and they have tons of machines and free weights so you never have to wait around. I can’t forget about the staff, they are great, especially Spencer! He’s always super happy and friendly, as well as he’s always helping people out whenever they ask! Would absolutely recommend this GoodLife to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I love this facility! I went there thinking about signing up and the nicest man and I have the best conversation unfortunately he went to Toronto to work in a different GoodLife but the staff is amazing they are all so kind it's a extremely big gym and they offer hot yoga classes daily they have a sauna in the women's bathroom ! 5 stars 4 sure!

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with Joe. He’s very knowledgeable in his field. Also, the other week there was an issue with an (ex)member harassing some employees and Joe handled the situation very well. He remained calm and professional in dealing with this unruly individual all while ensuring the safety of his fellow associates.

Negative experience: The club itself is great. Unfortunately the sales team and management operate under questionable morals and ethics. They often do nothing to help resolve issues unless you threaten to take legal action against them. Always check your bank statements and always stand up for yourself or they will take advantage of you.

Positive experience: Men's shower and locker room aren't clean. Gross bandaid on soap dispenser same place 3 days straight. Locker room dusty especially corners. Good gym.
Negative experience: Today was my first time going into Goodlife where I inquired about my membership options. I was then approached by an associate Joe who greeted my friend and I with,"what do you guys want?" Not feeling comfortable, I proceeded to end this encounter by not signing the waiver. He proceeded to the front desk to talk about us with a co-worker saying, "these people are so annoying." When we tried to speak again, he proceeded to argue with me. As a new customer and future PT, I have never been treated with such disrespect and my friends, who are Goodlife members also witnessed this form of unprofessionalism.

Negative experience: The place needs to be drowned in cleaner, it's disgusting. Every piece of equipment reeks. You would be hard pressed to find a member wiping down their equipment after use. They need to start enforcing it in some way cause it's only going downhill

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Personal trainer Matt. At first i has hesitant on worling with a personal trianer. Didnt really think it was for me. Had my first session with Matt and holy cow. We had a conversation about what i wanted to get out of using a personal trainer and what my expectations were. During my work out he was great. He explained everything in detail, was extremely supportive and made it feel like i was working out with a friend rather than someone i just met. I would highly recommend Matt.

Positive experience: Edit: Gym has modernized their equipment and it seems like employees have been spending more time working than grazing with patrons. Decent gym, but there’s too many groups of people socializing loudly around the weights (groups which the staff frequently participate in instead of cleaning). Extremely distracting when you can hear people jawing off for 30-40 minutes at a time while you’re trying to concentrate on your lifts. There’s literally a bar and grill like 100m down the road people, what the hell.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this location ever since I moved to London nearly 3 years ago. Staff is always friendly, more than enough machines, and I love that all the dumbbells are put back by the members in their right spot. If you've ever experienced the opposite of this it's infuriating. The only part I find annoying, is that they took away tanning. This is not their fault this is a decision good life made. Bring back the tanning good life!

Positive experience: Great gym and equipment. I wish the shower area was a little nicer and they had the wider lockers like some Goodlife’s. It’s hard to fit your stuff in the lockers they have. Otherwise it’s great! Sauna is a good size and heats up properly.

Negative experience: Gym equpiment ok just don’t buy Personal training courses at this location! Manger don’t care if there is any issues btw you and the trainer and you just don’t get what you paid for. Experience comes with arrogant. Don’t BUY!
Negative experience: They only let you freeze the membership up for 6 month/year and if you wanted to cancel, next time you sign up you'd have to pay the entrance fee again. First time gym so this might've just been me not knowing what to expect. When we were going over the membership I asked if I cancel and wanted to come back would I need to re-pay the entrance fee, she worded her answer like that's no the case.

If a member chooses to cancel and wishes to return in the future, a new membership would need to be started. We would recommend a Freeze if you plan on returning in the nearer future.
Fantastic experience: Great gym. The employees always check up on equipment so the weights are usually all neat and in the right places. Not very busy either! Everyone is very respectful and cleans the equipment.

Fantastic experience: Excellent club - have been member for 6 months & am novice to the world of exercise. Started off by enrolling in 6 sessions of personal training - best decision ever. I look forward to working out every day after work, & my overall health has improved vastly. The staff at the club are knowledgeable, friendly, & very encouraging. Would definitely recommend this club to friends. Would also recommend reading the book "Living the Good Life" which provides great information about the benefits of exercise in an easy to understand conversational tone.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Goodlife for years and this Sherwood location is good. Some ups, some downs. That said, this 5-star review is for one of their employees, Moe. He's there at 6 AM, big smile on his face, and is the most welcoming Goodlife employee I've ever come across from any location. Keep it buddy!

Negative experience: I booked the workout on Goodlife’s home website last week. There were two workout categories on the website, one is co-ed, the other is women’s. I booked the co-ed workout. However, the front desk agent told me somehow my booking is under women’s category during check-in, so he refused my entry. I showed him my booking on the Goodlife website. Then he said you should book the workout through app.I was very confused if the booking on Goodlife website is not accurate, what’s the meaning for that? And no one has ever told me I have to book workout on the mobile app. The agent wasn’t too helpful, he just turned around and start chat with another person. Basically, the front desk’s attitude is guest has to figure out by himself if there’s something wrong with the booking.

Positive experience: Great gym with awesome staff. But the mask policy needs to enforced - there are a few specific individuals who routinely defy it, walking around and chatting amongst themselves without ever putting on their mask. Honestly, some of them spent more time chatting away so do that elsewhere and leave the gym to those who actually work out and respect the rules.

Employees like Stephanie who care about the Health & Safety of individuals are valued assets to your business and clients. Fantastic experience: Big place-- all the machines included, they even have rooms just for females. The staff are friendly too.
Positive experience: I had my five sessions with a trainer which is really good. It helped me getting started in the right way. I just regret buying the myzone belt BECAUSE I am not using it. It came with the trainer pack. If you are interested in buying it from me, then let me know. The good life in Sherwood has two negatives points. The studio is Co-ed section which means men and women are allowed to do courses together ( yoga, Zumba,etc). I hate this and I hope I could live nearby citi plaza where the women only section has its studio exclusively for women. The other negative point in GL Sherwood is that there is no message chair in the women only section. They have two chairs at the front where clients come in ! No so relaxing spot !!
Fantastic experience: This gym by far has the best up to date exercise equipment. Has plenty of machines that targets each and every muscle group imaginable. Has a good well spaced out stretching area.
