Negative experience: Great staff and childcare but suddenly closed and no refunds have been issued despite assurances by owner. If you are interested in taking action against the owner, please look me up and let's organize to explore options. Strongly recommend initiating a chargeback if anyone is still in the 90 day window.

Negative experience: The childcare provided was great BUT still no refund issued for cancelled camps and my multiple phone messages over the past weeks requesting a call back have been ignored... Sept 23, 2024 Update - Still no refund issued. Phone number has been disconnected. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Negative experience: Unimpressed. We've registered for two weeks of camp. Early drop off is 8am. As of 9:15 (programming commences at 9) the doors are locked and there are no staff. ~15 - 20 parents are waiting out front with no communication from My Gym staff. One parent has mentioned they received an email that programming is cancelled for the balance of the month. Our daughter bounced out of bed for camp this morning and is devastated. Not to mention we have ~$750 of fees paid with no communication or services. Please answer your phone or communicate via email.

Negative experience: Our son was scheduled to go to camp for two weeks starting August 12th. On that day myself and many other parents were waiting and by 9 am there was no staff and doors were still locked. One lady came by and told us that the location was closed and there would be no camps for the rest of the month. She shared an email she had received that no one else had received. From my understanding it appears that this place is going out of business. The email did state that refunds will be issued. Unfortunately no further communication has come from the owners and news on refunds is nonexistent. I suggest that if you have kept your credit card receipt and enrolment information to reach out to your card company immediately. I don’t think refunds will be coming.

Fantastic experience: Great spot for a birthday party

Negative experience: You sign up for a trial but get charged for the whole program due to auto payment. My sister never got a call to confirm she wants to enroll her kids after one class of trial but was still charged an entire month worth of classes because their policy states auto payments after trial regardless. Sounds like the policy needs to change before you lose more potential customers‍♀️ trust me, no one likes to pay for an unused service!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to my gym for the past 6 to 7 months and i have to say i love their programs and especially the teachers. They all are super cooperative.

Negative experience: Beware of the automatic payments! We only attended one trial class (of the one week trial) but were charged an “un-refundable” for the month that followed even though we never went back and the account access they gave us never worked anyway so even if we were made aware of the “policy”, we couldn’t access our account to cancel auto payments.

Fantastic experience: My daughter absolutely loves My Gym. It is a great combination of a structured class and free play. She has so much fun while working on her gross motor skills. The kids also practice sharing, listening to basic instructions, sorting, color recognition, and much more during the activities and adventures. It's a great way to keep kids active, especially during the winter months. The instructors are patient and personable.

Fantastic experience: Our son has been attending My Gym Children’s Fitness Centre for over a year now, so it’s about time I finally write a review. TL;DR we all love it and recommend it to all. We give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our son was born premature during COVID, so it was a rough start. We were looking for things for him to do, that will be fun and encourages his development. Finally, we found My Gym and it was just perfect. He is 2.5 years old now and LOVES going to My Gym. It is the only thing he has stuck with. Our son has tried swimming, dance, and soccer, both by the city and private classes, and nothing has come close to My Gym. We have to say, although the program is absolutely fantastic, the people are even more so. In particular, Mamy, the children’s fitness instructor and manager, is so lovely, kind, patient, and skillful. She proactively helps our son when she sees he needs a push and has taught him so many cool skills! When he wants to sit out of an activity (he doesn’t like the swings), usually he plays by himself, but he has asked her for a book sometimes and she will sit and read with him for 10 minutes, 1-on-1. In other classes mentioned above, he has been left behind before and it was so disappointing. We can’t be any more grateful to the attentive staff. I don’t think anywhere else has as wonderful service as My Gym. At My Gym, he is exposed to a variety of different activities, challenges, games, books, songs, circle time, puppet shows, and more every single week in class. He gets to learn skills such as climbing up and also down, front rolls, backward rolls, flips, balancing, bear crawling, throwing and hand-eye-coordination, sorting, running, cleaning up the toys, teamwork with friends, identifying colours, dancing, following multi-step instructions, holding on and swinging on a tire swing, and zip lining, etc etc etc. Yes, they even do zip lining across the gym in a secure swing! It’s seriously so much fun. The set up of the gym is changed weekly so it never gets boring. Our son is so confident now and loves trying new things in this safe environment. Our son did a back flip, upside down, in a moving swing (with Mamy’s support of course, but still!!). I was seriously amazed!!! He’s only 2! It’s very clean, too. Children go barefoot and the adults wear socks. They are encouraged to wash their hands after and get stamps at the end. No food is allowed on the floor, but you can feed your child after the class on the side. Our son loves his post-workout snacks! On top of regular class, there is also “Practice and Play” that runs multiple times a week where kids can come in and do whatever they want for fun. A membership at My Gym provides so much more value for the price (compared to swimming for example, which was 25 minutes a week for $130, at My Gym you could spend every single day there for just $120). Lastly, outside of the membership, they have additional events such as “Parents Night Out (PNO)” and an “Easter Egg Hunt.” The cost is reasonable at $45 for PNO. For $15 an hour, instead of staying home with a babysitter, they get to spend time with friends, make crafts, have dinner, play games and more. We dropped off our son for the PNO recently, his first time away from family or daycare, and we couldn’t have felt more trusting of Mamy and the team. We let him know beforehand and he was honestly just excited to go, and said “bye mama bye papa see you soon!” Our son had a wonderful time there and came home with a loot bag of things he loved too. He didn’t cry or have any issues. We all love My Gym so much, we wonder how sad it would be to move away one day. Well, luckily, My Gym is a franchise with locations across both Canada and the US. I would make sure we move close to another one, haha! We would miss Mamy and her team the most, though. This is a long review, but we felt we had to give all the details for those wondering if they should enrol their kids or not. Do it! It’s worth it!

Fantastic experience: Every day they have different acivities and obstacles for kids. It's realky great and well planned and I can see improvements in my toddler. They do circle time and sing so it's intersctive. I love the activities and it's eorth investing in for your kids to not only have fun but improve their physical strength. The staff are friendly and great to work.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of visiting My Gym, today for a friend's birthday party, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I walked through the doors, I could tell that this was a place where kids could have fun and stay active. The staff at My Gym was awesome! They were friendly, welcoming, and seemed genuinely passionate about working with children. They took the time to explain the different activities available and made sure that each child felt comfortable and included. The facility itself was clean and perfect. The equipment was well-maintained and designed with children in mind. There were plenty of areas for kids to run, jump, climb, and explore, and everything was arranged in a way that made it easy for parents to supervise and participate in the activities. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Overall, I highly recommend My Gym to anyone looking for a fun and engaging way to keep their children active and healthy. The staff is wonderful, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and the programs are top-notch. I can't wait to bring my own children back for more fun and fitness!

Fantastic experience: My daughter just graduated from the preschool prep program at My Gym Ottawa and the entire experience surpassed my expectations. She learned so much and was always excited to go. The teachers were excellent and went above and beyond to provide parents with keepsakes and special memories- including a memorable graduation party. We have also done Waddlers classes and hosted a birthday party at My Gym and the experience is always fantastic! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We booked a 2 hour session for our son and his friend. What a great place to just let kids be kids. Lots of things to do, foam rollers and ramps, balance beam, thing to climb, things to jump off of. Staff were great, they would get extra stuff out depending on age of the kids. Our little guy is almost 2 and his friend is 4 and both were able to have so much fun!!!. We would 100 percent book again!

Fantastic experience: We booked a private playdate with another family in our bubble and it was an awesome experience! The kids loves being able to roam and play on everything, they even put out specific items based on the kids age. Both sets of parents were able to be on the gym floor and interacting with the kids. Everything is completely sanitized before and after so we felt very safe and comfortable. Would definitely do it again.

Negative experience: You kinda have to join a class. Not much to play with there.

Fantastic experience: My 8 months old daughter and I love My Gym! We started in the Little Bundles class when she was 3 months old and are now loving the Tiny Tykes class now that she is older. The programming and staff are all wonderful. The class is great to connect with other parents with kids the same age along with allowing your kids to work on age appropriate skills. My daughter always has the best naps after we come home from class.

Clean and safe environment and lots of wonderful activities and constantly changing setups (they're happy to customize any way you want it). Had our birthday party for the little one there.
