Fantastic experience: Love the yoga classes!

Negative experience: Went to go use the weight room and I was told by someone who works here but was on a day off that I wasn't allowed to be in there cause I'm 12 but the website says you can go and use the gym if you are 12 with a parent and 13 when you are with a guardian and my mom was in there with me

Fantastic experience: Lots of parking for those who care to do so properly. For those who don't, you can park where you want, how you want.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are very friendly and helpful always. A great place to go and workout and make friends. Aquafit is so much fun and doesn’t even feel like you are exercising. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: Recently, I joined the YMCA Port colborne, this place has excellent different types of sports, aquatic, fitness available in a single membership. Not too expensive and affordable. I really enjoy it and the staff are supportive and the friendly staff. Thank you YMCA team for the best support.

Fantastic experience: This facility is great. So well staffed, always extremely clean and well equipped. Absolutely love the pools, especially the leisure pool as the water is heated. Aquafit classes are great too.

Fantastic experience: My mom and I visited the Vale Health and Wellness Centre, last night, to see a hockey game for Damon and the Welland Tigers.

Positive experience: Nice facility. Lots of parking and well maintained grounds. We enjoy taking the kids to the Easter egg hunt in the spring. Only gripe pertaining to that event in particular is that children only need to find and remit ONE egg for their prize bag. Nobody enforced such stipulations, so older kids rush around scooping up dozens of eggs leaving none for the younger ones to find often leaving them in tears. Staff really have to enforce the one egg policy.

Negative experience: One of the worst websites I ever visited. Very complicated, not user friendly. Its very difficult to register for a program. You must provide your whole info each time. You could not access your account unless you are in their building. No connections between your YMCA membership account and the registration system. However, they have wonderful employees.

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience. My wife, 2 daughters and I went to open- swim on Friday night.(630-830) the change room, showers and pool were clean. Many swimmers,but fun.

Negative experience: I felt so unwelcome because of the lady at the desk. She was unfriendly, and annoyed because I was asking for information. I thought she was not prepared to deal with people with accents

Fantastic experience: We love swimming at YMCA Port Colborne. Facility is clean, lifeguards and staff are friendly, professional, accommodating and inclusive.

Positive experience: Warm seats if you are in Arena 1, and the kids gets to run the track. They are switching to the QR code version of the vaccine certificates.

Fantastic experience: The staff are always friendly and cheerful. They always do the best to answer any questions one might have. The facility is clean and in good repair.

Positive experience: All around great facility for exercising, watching sporting events, the walking track is free and a great place for walking or jogging in bad weather. June 2022 the gym was updated and is the best equipped in the area.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Love taking my kid to the pool, he enjoys his swimming lessons. Overall the gym/fitness center is good -- clean equipment and a nice space, fully stocked on sanitizing wipes -- the roof is still leaky. Hopefully that will be resolved at some point. I really do like coming here alone and during a non-pandemic year there are lots of opportunities for family to play together too (and hopefully soon again, pending everyone being fully vaccinated, of course).

Positive experience: Nice large location, this place has a lot of parking available, staff were friendly and it was easy to find out where everything was, everything was nice and clean as were the bathrooms, one of the more enjoyable ymcas I have been to, a great location to pick from

Positive experience: Great place for the most part . A little bit irritating when as a paying member , u are denied access to certain things like the pool because of certain events . Members pay for those services , so when not allowed to use it due to what ever reason ( other then maintenance). There should be a discount..or something for the inconvenience, fustrating!! If it wasn't for the pool , and the staff I would definitely consider another gym but the pool is a big seller for many and staff (most)are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Very nice walking/running track, ice rinks, multi use gym floors and work out machines. The swimming pools are also great. Great place for any type of workout needed to keep fit.
