Fantastic experience: I look forward to going every day! It's not your typical gym full of equipment, so that was a change, but the trainers are very supportive and pay attention to how you are doing. Anyone that has been there longer / more experienced, are super encouraging and friendly. It's overwhelming at first as there are lots of movements / exercises I wasn't familiar with and felt unattainable. I just want to say .... Don't Stop!! It's just a learning curve and you will surprise yourself.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication The coaches are great! The members are very welcoming and friendly and I have done weights for the first time in my life without feeling overwhelmed or injuring myself. Every effort is made to accommodate your levels but still challenging at the same time. Good back up support with the nutrition piece thrown in. Highly recommend ❤️

Fantastic experience: Had zero crossfit experience going into this new venture and was somewhat terrified, but Joe and Carol and their team of coaches treat everyone (of every shape and fitness level) with kindness and respect and encouragement. The workouts can be very hard and intimidating but they allow you to scale to your comfort level so you always feel a great sense of accomplishment after completion and never leave without a good sweat on! Spacious facilities, friendly members, a variety of high quality equipment and lots of coaching and warm-ups help to create a safe and healthy environment.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to get your sweat on this is a fantastic place to go! Joe and Carol have created this wonderful place where everyone is welcome regardless of fitness level. If you are intimidated by regular gyms, aren't sure where to start or are a seasoned veteran to gym life and searching for like minded individuals this is the place for you. This is more then just a gym they have created a community. Come for the workouts stay for the friendly atmosphere and support to maintain or reach your goals.

Fantastic experience: This program has saved my health and possibly my life. I know it sounds extreme but it's true. I took this program up in June of 2020 with aches and pains in my back, hips and knees so bad, it was unbearable. Since then, I now wake up pain free, I can move to catch my 4yr old grandchild and I have confidence in my body. I now go on 3 - 10 km hike with no reluctance or fear. It is a great program and it allows a person to go at their own pace. Try it out! You will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: Great fun. I always thought CrossFit was full of supreme athletes and you would get terribly injured. However, the coaching is awesome. Things are taken super slow and adjusted individually. You not only get to workout but learn new skills each class. Everyone was and still is very welcoming and the culture is like a club or team. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: CrossFit Cochrane - what a terrific gym experience!! These folks REALLY take care of their clients. Not only do you learn how to workout, you learn about nutrition, and your results are measured, so you know exactly what to work on. Fantastic experience: I am taking the 6 week challenge at CrossFit Cochrane and it has been a great experience. The gym is large and well equipped, and there is ample parking. The coaches are very experienced, always ensure that you are performing the exercises correctly, and are constantly encouraging and motivating us. The friendly atmosphere in the gym makes getting in shape a lot of fun. I highly recommend CrossFit Cochrane.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my 6 week challenge! At the start of the challenge I had really struggled with diet and keeping on track. With Crossfits easy to follow diet plan and exercises I easily lost more than the 6% body fat and gained muscle. I liked the accountability and team atmosphere. I did the 7am classes and it wasn't always easy to get out of bed but once I finished the workout I felt amazing. The 6 weeks was also the perfect amount of time to get into a rhythm and routine to continue on my fitness journey. Thanks Joe, Maureen, Mack, and the rest of Crossfit Cochrane's team :)

Fantastic experience: Unsure about Crossfit? So was I! Until I decided to get out of my regular ‘activity’ comfort zone and try something new! I have been pleasantly surprised by Crossfit Cochrane: the team of Coaches, fellow members and, last but not least, the various workouts that have all been huge elements in helping me to reach my fitness goals! It doesn’t matter if you’re a fitness beginner or a pro, you are given a workout that is always challenging, yet matches your fitness level. The watchful eyes of the coaches helps ensure proper form/technique and the encouragement from the people working out around you helps you strive for that one extra rep! I now understand the allure of Crossfit, especially once you quickly start seeing personal successes (no matter how big or small)! On the fence? Give Joe and his team a shout... it’ll be worth the call!

Fantastic experience: Just finished the 6 week challenge, and have nothing but positive benefits from joining Crossfit Cochrane. I was a little apprehensive about starting an intense crossfit regime, especially with 6% body fat loss on the line. The whole team is awesome, the programming excellent, and it's a fun workout. I managed to lose 6.5% body fat and about 15 lbs in 6 weeks, which is pretty crazy, I didn't think I had that much to lose. The coaching is great and really helps you to learn the lifts, starting with really light weight helps get technique and form down, and I never really added a ton of weight but managed to improve body composition drastically. Since everyone is at different levels there's no sense of strong competition, more like everyone cheers and encourages others, it's a good environment for learning!

Fantastic experience: I did the 6 week challenge starting in March of 2018. With a baby on the way, I felt a need to get back into shape a bit, having let my fitness slip over the last 5 or 6 years. I had the dad bod, and my kid hadn't even arrived yet. My goal was to lose 6% body fat and was very pleased with my results. Not only met my goal, but exceeded it. I lost well over the 6%, as well as 21 lbs. With the help and coaching from the team at Crossfit Cochrane I also saw big improvements in lean muscle mass and a drop in visceral fat levels. The meal planning, recipes and guides are awesome. My wife and I are actually going to keep going with them. Really good recipes, and really simple to make and meal prep. All the coaches there were awesome, but I should give a special shout out to Mike Mousseau. He was not only great at teaching the safe and proper way to perform some of the more complicated movements, but he also was great at keeping everyone motivated and having fun. The 6 week challenge was a great jump start to get back on track with my fitness and would totally recommend it to anyone who is looking to make a change and is looking for the motivation to do it.

Fantastic experience: I just finished the 6 weeks challenge & couldn’t be happier with the results. I have to admit that I thought I was eating fairly well however after looking at the meal plan I realized that there was room for improvement. The plan was clear, easy to follow & made huge impacts on my energy level, weight & body fat. I have enjoyed it so much that I have continued to follow it has it’s just become habit. The workouts were great & Maureen was an excellent coach. My personal goal was to gain strength & energy but I was very concerned about injury. Maureen pushed & motivated but also made sure that appropriate modifications were given. Thank you to Joe, Carol & Maureen for helping me reach goals that I didn’t think were even possible!

Fantastic experience: I just had my first child and had a very inactive pregnancy due to some complications. I was 5 weeks post partum and contemplating beginning some type of exercise that would benefit both my physical and mental health. When I came across the 6-week challenge I was a bit apprehensive (could I actually Crossfit 5 weeks after giving birth???). Having previous experience with Crossfit I knew that the workouts would be rigorous, however, I also knew that each exercise could be modified to work with my 5-week postpartum body vs. against it. I signed up excited and a bit nervous. Coming into my first workout I was welcomed with open arms, and found this to be a very inclusive community (I have tried a couple of other Crossfit gyms with less then positive experiences). The coaches were very knowledgeable in helping me to determine the best way to complete each workout in a way that was both safe and effective for my unique situation. 6 weeks after beginning the challenge I had lost 21 lbs. and 6.5% body fat. 11 weeks after giving birth I was back at my pre pregnancy weight. This is a program built for those that are just starting out in Crossfit, have years of experience, or have never exercised before. Joe, Carol, and the entire coaching staff are there for you every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing CrossFit now for enough years that I think I can call myself a veteran. I've been in a lot of different CrossFit gyms, but not a single one has even come close to how community oriented CrossFit Cochrane is. It brings a new meaning to going to the gym. One that makes you feel like being part of a team. The owners Joe and Carol are absolutely wonderful, and their coaches are extremely knowledgeable and are excellent at what they do. I would highly recommend CrossFit Cochrane to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals while being cheered on by an excellent group of people.

Fantastic experience: I just completed my 6 week challenge with Cochrane Crossfit and if I could rate the experience higher than 5 stars I certainly would. I was at the tail end of a corporate health challenge and was looking to continue my “back to health” journey. I met with Joe and signed both myself and Tina up on the spot. We had what I thought was a very aggressive goal of 25lb weight loss in the 6 weeks. We received the meal plan, set our workout time for the 18 sessions and were off to the races. Maureen, Mack, Marcy (and even Joe for a session) were phenomenal coaches. All were quick to listen to our individual concerns and modify the exercises appropriately for everyone in the classes. The weekly weigh in and phone call with Maureen was so helpful to keep us on track. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the last 6 weeks. The other members of our classes quickly became friends and support as well. I’m happy to report that I exceeded the 25lb goal, reduced my body fat significantly, increased muscle mass significantly and I am currently the lightest I’ve been on the scale in the last 30 years! Fantastic experience: A great box that is community oriented and committed to improving the results of their members. Class sizes are limited so you never run out of equipment or space, and it also allows the coaches to provide feedback on technique. The programming is carefully planned. Perks include beer on Fridays, a dedicated coaching team and a wonderful crew of members that make you feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: Before I started going to Crossfit Cochrane, I often described my body as looking like a "bag of milk." After 8 months of working out, I've lost 25 pounds and can do things like handstand pushups, rope climbs and muscle ups. The programming is great and the coaching is awesome. It's a great community to be a part of. The people I work out with every day have become friends. Going to the gym used to be a struggle, but with this group of people I feel like something is missing when I don't make a workout.

Fantastic experience: My introduction and experience at CrossFit Cochrane has exceeded any expectation that I had. The workouts are always new and challenging, combine with great coaching and the encouragement from fellow members, I always leave wanting to come back for another class.
