Fantastic experience: They have done a wonderful job of renovating the pool and hot tub. The aquafit classes that are offered are extremely good. I have been attending them for years and find them very beneficial to my general health and well-being.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of the Pembroke Fitness Center for many years. The classes are excellent, lots of times and options to choose from, great variety and the instructors bring a ton of energy. It’s an excellent place to work out, whether you’re just getting into fitness or have been at it for years. Plenty of equipment and cardio machines, the facility is always clean and the staff are so welcoming. I highly recommend the Pembroke Fitness Centre to anyone looking for a great place to work out.

Positive experience: Really good gym. Community is good too. A bit too small and cluttered though Sadly had to reduce my review to 3 from a 4, as there seems to be an issue, especially on weekends and PA days, of children who are using the pool. They make a mess of the locker room, I even had a child's clothes left Carelessly on top of my gym bag Also, they play on the gym machines, which is a huge safety concern. The staff do not seem to be taking this issue seriously whatsoever, and it would be awful for a child to get a lifelong injury from playing on machines. I hope that the staff can begin to treat this matter seriously.

Fantastic experience: For the last 3 years I've been working out consistently in my little home gym, but recently due to a house fire was relocated to the Best Western with the Pembroke Fitness Center being my only option for staying consistent. At first it was so awkward, but the staff and members were so welcoming and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the unlimited access to amenities and equipment along with the amazing classes! There's not much I miss about living in a hotel pregnant with 3 littles, but I am definitely looking forward to going back and utilizing the Fitness Center in the future!

Fantastic experience: Love the classes that are offered. The Dance Cardio class and Drums class are hype! Great for anyone looking for a workout that they can get lost in. You forget your doing a workout and just have fun feeling the great selection of music. ALSO, it is a great perk that there is a pool attached to this gym. Nothing like a great workout then a dip in the pool! Staff has always been super welcoming and kind!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for the past 4 years. Staff is always happy and accommodating. The gym is always clean and tidy. Gym equipment is "older" BUT is well maintained and works just like new. (New isn't always better).

Negative experience: Says pool is open until 7PM But ensure you are there prior to 5:45pm as they close their cach before six and don't allow anyone in other the members. With the pembroke pool closed, the theater closed, it doesn't leave much option and this really upset 3 kids that they would close their cash before 6pm when they say open till 7pm. Nothing mentioned about latest check-in time to swim either.

Fantastic experience: Great facility...worth every penny I pay for...100% friendly staff...very helpful...I love the fact that they dumbells over 80 pounds for strong individuals....great classes...pool..hottub...sauna...can't go wrong...hands down best around

Negative experience: Dated equipment and overall space is small. Could use an update/revamp. Misleading advertising saying that if you sign up a friend you receive 10% discount on your membership.. apparently it's only for new members and both must sign up at the same time for an extended membership. No discounts right now despite the hot tub being closed.

Fantastic experience: Only spot in town with a real squat rack, full deadlift bars, and pretty nice suana.

Fantastic experience: So much more than a gym! I'm a very big guy, and I have never felt the least bit uncomfortable there. Everyone is welcoming and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There are weights, cardio machines, all kinds of classes, and membership also gives you access to the saunas and the hotel pool and hottub. Safety protocols are strictly enforced, the prices are very reasonable and the trainers are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: During the Covid Closure this Family Fitness Centre ran online classes to keep members physically and mentally active. The time off was used to update the facility. Fresh paint, new lighting and brand new showers along with improvements to the change rooms ,sauna and pool area make this the place to workout. Safety measures are all in place. Come on back. I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have personally been working out at the Pembroke fitness centre for over 20 years. I would not work at any other gym! The clients are outstanding! I love that it is a very community oriented gym! This facility has raised over $500,000 for the community and still contributing!

Fantastic experience: I have been a fitness instructor for more years than I will put in print. Two rules I have always taught by - the workout had to be safe and it had to be fun. There is no sense in working out if you aren't having fun, but I have and always will put your safety first. As do my coworkers. We have a great staff and a great group of clients that come here. You really should join us and see what all the fuss is about!!!
