Negative experience: There is a huge management and customer service issue here in this location. The equipments are not safe, they are not even stable. I was trying to reach out the manager but they never responded.

Negative experience: I tried to canceled to my membership 2 years ago, and I was told its already canceled. After 3 months they were still charging money, and when I asked, they made up a bunch of excuses, and even put me on collections after I switched bank, it damaged my credit score. And recently when I reach out to them, the manager once again ignored all my requests.

Fantastic experience: I just recently joined Anytime Fitness District location after being a member of a large family complex. Best move for us! I'm so happy with all the equipment, the cleanliness and the lovely people who work here. I am so impressed with the gym overall. I look forward to visiting the gym now. Top notch!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Anytime Fitness for a while now. Its convenient 24/7 access is the main perk. Overall, the gym feels cramped and limited at times. Equipment is decent but limited; it's okay if you just need the basics, but don't expect anything fancy. Staff are friendly and approachable, and I’ve always felt comfortable and welcomed. They greet you when you walk in and are happy to answer questions or show you how to use the equipment. The only downside is that the space can be smaller compared to big-box gyms, so if you’re looking for extras like pools, saunas, or tons of classes, this might not be the right fit. Also, because it's a franchise, quality and amenities can vary a bit by location. But for someone looking for a clean, secure, and no-fuss gym that fits into your life anytime, it’s a great choice.

Negative experience: What the hell we can’t freeze our accounts unless we have medical reasons. This is just another way to be scam. I don’t have time to come to the gym so I need freeze it. Full of scammers. When I apply for the membership the guy told me that I can freeze my account anytime.

Negative experience: Water fountain was broken for almost 2 weeks.

Negative experience: Spoke with the manager — ownership at this location is incredibly cheap. The treadmills and other equipment are poorly maintained, with no proper service agreement in place. Instead of fixing things properly, they slap on tape and blame the users for the wear and tear. They won’t even bother to provide basic things like benches in the shower rooms. If the owner happens to read this, I suggest taking a look at how Bridgeland runs their gym. Considering we pay over $50 a year in maintenance fees, it really feels like a cash grab.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love training here! Prab has created a great atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. His knowledge and dedication are unmatched.

Negative experience: Hi My name is Ram Singh Aasht and from 1 and half year I joined anytime fitness. During this time period, I never misbehaved anyone here but at the district location of anytime fitness, Mr. Pardeep Jawanda's behavior is very bad with me and he threatened me.He told me that I am the owner of anytime fitness and I can't allow to enter the gym. He disrespected me in front of other members. I always carry neat and clean shoe with me but he bothered me. He also do workout at the gym but don't clean the equipments. When we said him to clean the equipments , he said I am owner here and don't guide me. Please took action for his misbehavior and because of him, I am going to cancel my membership from anytime fitness.

As with anything in life, you have to manage your expectations and entitlement and remember: this is a budget gym and you're paying a budget price, (but it often doesn't feel like that as they have everything and more). This is a smaller gym, but the equipment you need is there, always functioning, and the place is extremely well managed and very clean. Yea, if I go at 5AM after an evening of people working out, using bathrooms, showering, I know it's not going to be perfect but - I manage my expectations for what I'm paying for. I go here approximately 4-5 times a week and I've never had the issues others are reporting. For instance - the lady who has left TWO reviews (google - why are you allowing?) saying the place is dirty and posting hand prints on mirrors - let's address your issues: 1 - mirror gets dirty; this place cleans everything up multiple times a day. Their staff is unbelievable. It's a 24/7 gym tho, and your life must be so tough that when you walk in and see a handprint - you're so unnerved that you have to immediately jump on google and write a crap review. Think that speaks more to you than the cleanliness of this place but hey. 2 - The areas that have water smell mouldy....hmmmmm....don't know how to explain general science to you, but that's what water does - the gym is airtight and this watery smell is....well....everywhere that has water. Kananaskis Nordic Spa smells this way all the time - I was there last weekend. It's what water does. 3 - Their fees "aren't upfront" - so weird, as soon as you go onto their website or (gasp) walk into their office - there is a LARGE SIGN with fees clearly outlined right on the desk. I've been a member since they opened and it's always been there so..... 4 - mirrors take time to replace; glass is expensive and has to be measured and installed. They didn't break it, but they have fix it. Ever hired a contractor? That takes time too bud. (it's never taken this place years btw) 5 - To quote you, and hopefully help you.. "There are no other gyms in this area." Where to begin? A - Vivo - super close - pay double the price and get 10% of the gym. B - Goodlife on 64th - fight for gym equipment and good luck having to commit to a 2 year contract. C. Golds on Country Hills - again, longer commitment; absolutely crap facility with aging and unserviced equipment but hey - you clearly don't read the fine print anyways. All in all - for ~55 a month, Anytime in the District is an insanely good deal. If you actually speak to a manager about issues (as opposed to writing a crap review on google), they really do go above and beyond. Yea, people put their hands on mirrors and accidentally put weights through a wall and these repairs have to be done, but that's a normal part of life. I happily pay my fee every two weeks and love going to this gym for the equipment, service, and price I would expect from a budget 24/7 gym. 5/5 stars. Amazing management, amazing facility, amazing value.

Compared to my previous location, the place is more clean, all equipments are at good state and also fix them quickly if there anything goes wrong. Negative experience: I gave this location 1 star because I can't give them "0". It is the dirtiest place I have ever experienced in Canada. From the beginning, I miss leading on billing and over-promising. Phone calls never get attended (because the staff is mostly hanging around and not in the office). They don't even have voice mail to leave a message. They had or have the dirtiest towels. (Can only be used to clean washroom floors) . I will leave my review until Shyra's MANAGER or the Yuvraj staff member has some professional manners to stay committed to their promises. I will update my review with more info related to how they run this fitness place. Update:- I took a gym membership to use showers, I travel a lot, and I do use other gyms for workouts as your gym location is filthy. I.e .. people leave their business in the washroom. The poop is hanging on toilet seats and germs on the shower floor. (It might be clean now since the water was damaged in Calgary. Not to mention but your staff doesn't take responsibility to clean it as you want them to do hence that's not their job). Charging people for maintenance fees and giving them false information. I have never seen anything maintained in this location for the last couple of years. And your Google review reply is as lame as you and your staff are. UPD after 6 months;- Recently, I came to know that my profile picture was some one random person who even doesn't look like me at all. This means your staff is making fake profiles to have random people walk in and use this fitness. Or your staff is stealing your stolen money which you charged extra from people for not canceling it.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this gym. They are not upfront with their fees. They tell you that the fob to get in is a refundable deposit but they don’t give your money back when you cancel and return it. When you sign up there are tons of hidden fees (sign up fees, processing fees, and twice a year “upkeep” fees). They say they use these fees to upgrade the gym and keep it clean, but they do a horrible job keeping it clean and take months-years to fix things. (A couple examples: once a mirror was completely shattered, they kept it like that for months. There was a very annoying light that was strobing for over a month that they didn’t even bother to turn off while waiting to fix it). I find the business runs very dishonestly and you can definitely feel it as a client. It is a shame that it is the only gym in this area, however driving a bit further elsewhere would be worth your time.

Fantastic experience: I gave it 5 stars (sarcastically) as I believe that if you don't want to wear indoor shoes or wipe down the equipment, rerack the weights. This is the place for you. Also, they don't supply towels consistently. I watch people come in with their outdoor shoes and fail to wipe down equipment, I am tired of reminding people to do their part to make this more enjoyable. This place is, sadly, the only place that is convenient to me.

Negative experience: So first of all their phone doesn’t work so don’t even try. I canceled my membership months ago and they continue to charge, me refuse to put me in touch with someone that can help and keep giving empty promises that a refund is coming. The only thing that happens is they take more money out of my account. I wait in the gym for 45 minutes waiting for an employee only for no one to show up DURRING STAFFED HOURS!!!! Their mediocre gym isn’t worth the headache it is dealing with them. If you have not signed yet go to GoodLife or golds if you have and want to cancel, good luck. Negative experience: Signed agreement to terminate June 2023. They keep charging me 22 every two weeks .now ABC financial says I owe them 400 bucks , what a scam . They keep charging me and want more money . Do not go to this gym and terminate they scam your money and give me the run around . I call 137 times a day and they never answer the phone the owners did fraud my account Absolutely the worst to deal with

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for over a year now as a university student and I have no complaints! The staff is very helpful and friendly, and always nice to talk to when you walk in! The membership is very affordable for students and others as well. The equipment is diverse and useful as well! It’s clean, organized and the community is amazing. The gym is also 24/7 which helps when you want an early morning or late night workout. Overall the anytime fitness district location has been a 10/10 experience and I will be staying with them for many years to come!

Negative experience: I have been with anytime fitness for like 5 years if not more, it’s always been very convenient as they have multiple locations everywhere in the city. Yes some locations don’t have many fancy equipment but someone like me barely use them I felt completely fine. All these years I tried different ones, and never felt bothered by the staff as I never requested anything. I started in Brentwood location until I moved away. Recently I signed up for a new private gym right beside my house, as my work is very busy I barely go if I have to drive to the gym. This is the reason why I went to cancel my membership, not because I don’t like anytime. I do think it’s very convenient and fulfills my gym needs. But my most recent interaction with the gym staff who processes the cancellation is horrible. I don’t know the lady’s name but I found her really rude and not even trying to understand your frustration. Raised her voice and made it sound like everything was my fault, it’s not a huge deal if you charge me one more month, but after all these years of good experience before I left your staff made me feel leaving is the best choice. I never had to contact any staff before, the only 3 times was because I was throwing around between different locations as I don’t know I have a home branch and it changes all the time. Thank you “District” for making me not feel sorry for cancelling my membership.
