Fantastic experience: This is the best gym in the city. Five locations open 24 hours with a great selection of equipment, clean and friendly environment

Negative experience: These guys are so money hungry! They wouldn’t let you cancel for medical reasons and wouldn’t let you transfer to another person!! Such greediness is ridiculous! They don’t even fix the machines that are not working from the past month. Absolute worst experience!

Negative experience: The gyms actually not too bad but I'm pretty sure that's a tooth on one of their machines and it's been there for like 2 weeks so nasty

Negative experience: ⭐ 1/5 – Worst Experience Very worst experience with this gym. I had a payment issue and tried multiple times to resolve it, but they never listened. Instead of helping, they sent my account to collections, which caused unnecessary stress. The collection lady at the Northgate location was extremely rude and dismissive, making the situation even more frustrating. To make it worse, the gym is poorly maintained — equipment and washrooms are rarely cleaned. In my opinion, the whole experience felt unfair and very unprofessional. I would strongly suggest choosing other gyms like Planet Fitness, GoodLife Fitness, or Anytime Fitness, where customer service and cleanliness are taken seriously.

She has been fantastic add in the front line and she is always greet me and the members with a smile and wished you a safe workout. she also comes on the floor to re-rack the weights or perform to-do-list during her shift. i am pleased with her services. thanks Gracie.

Negative experience: Stopped in here to ask about memberships, when I walked in the 3 people at the front desk all just stared at me, no hello, no smile, nothing. Once someone acknowledged me, I was directed to sit, the “sales” guy came over, showed me a paper with prices and said “so what do you think?”. A tour was offered after I said “this is an awful experience” They expect you to purchase a membership without a tour or anything. Skip this place, GoodLife was a much more pleasant and welcoming gym.

Negative experience: Really Poor experience here. About a year ago my credit card was stolen so I went into the gym to give them new payment information. I ultimately decided to cancel my Membership and was told it’s done from the staff there. A year later I’m in collections for 600$ because the staff member did not cancel it properly. My credit has been impacted due to their staff’s incompetence and they have been extremely unhelpful and unresponsive. It should have known this place was a huge red flag when the first option you get when phoning them is collections disputing. Currently going through the process to get it removed but save yourself the trouble a pick a different gym. PS, everyone saying the gym has gone downhill is correct the place is in serous disrepair which is sad it used to be really nice.

Fantastic experience: Love the fact that it is open 24/7 and very spacious, plus it has separate women’s only section which is my favourite part.

Negative experience: I will never recommend to anyone. If yiu guys want to waste your 500 dollar after cancellation uou guys can join the gym. You have to handle byitself no gold gym agent will help you at all. When you will try to cancel.

Negative experience: They know all the tricks to take money out of your pocket . Even after one year contract they still charging my credit card and renewed without my knowledge.

Negative experience: This gym use to be my favourite gym to go to! However, in the last few months it’s gone completely downhill. The only thing that works is the coffee machine. The showers / sauna / steam room are not taken care of…out of the 8 showers, 1 has a working faucet, the rest are taped off or broken in some way! The sauna has been out of order for the last 3-4 months. Overall the showers and changing rooms are not well maintained, which is unhygienic and defeats the purpose of having them. For the price you’re paying it is not worth it! You might as well go elsewhere!

The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has a great variety of equipment—free weights, machines, and cardio gear are all up-to-date. The group classes, especially the HIIT sessions, are a highlight; they’re challenging but fun, with a good community vibe.

Negative experience: Caution: Billing Issues with ABC Fitness Solutions Be aware that this gym uses ABC Fitness Solutions for payments, and their billing practices are concerning. If you sign up for a 2-year membership, ensure you disable auto-renewal in advance, or you may be charged unexpected fees after your term ends. I also experienced duplicate charges, and resolving payment issues is extremely difficult. The gym staff cannot assist — all issues must go through ABC Fitness, whose support is hard to reach and unresponsive.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the customer service at Gold’s Gym Country Hills. I reported a lost gym bag with some important stuff to the front desk weeks ago and was told the issue would be taken care of. I also emailed their support and never got a reply like they don't really care. Unprofessional and irresponsible – they show no willingness to assist members.

Negative experience: I was a Platinum member and even referred three others to this gym. Since March 2025, the pool — a key feature — was removed without notice or compensation. Their only response was to offer a downgrade or cancellation with no refund. Extremely poor service and no accountability. Loyal members deserve better. The only thing they care are new sign ups !

Negative experience: Ive visited twice. Both times the air is stale, a bad odour. The HVAC system needs to circulate more air. Machines are often dirty. Changerooms are not that clean.

Negative experience: I just joined and I like this gym but there are a few things that need to be fixed. This includes hygiene and VIP Access. Also, as a platinum member, there should be a better way to monitor access to certain areas. Main doors are always unlocked for pool and VIP access so anyone comes in and it gets crowded. The pool was dirty but Staff is friendly.

Negative experience: too crammed and half of the machines are broken or in the process of. As a golds gym, it seems below the standard of a prestigious facility. I would much rather drive 25 mins further south to avoid that location all together.

Fantastic experience: This location has lots of great features, lots of different machines, is pretty spacious, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable if you are in need of help. Harris was great! Loved how he was engaging with us from the moment we walked in til the moment we were done our workouts and ready to leave creating a nice welcoming environment! Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: I have been here for about 1 month so far and in the women section most of washrooms r out of service the pool would be better if it was here and a hot tub the sauna has been out of service and they say use the wooden one no lights in there no nothing just a tight space where u can’t get in or change temperature!! The women place is very small not a lot of good equipments needs more space and equipment I only gave 1 star for the 24/7 and very expensive membership

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE In terrible condition. There’s rust, leaks, stains, and broken lockers, with half the machines out of order. There are very few grips or accessories available. The pool looks to have been completely removed now just a cement floor with random wooden panels. The staff are rude, often ignoring guests, brushing them off, or giving weird looks. It smells awful throughout. Benches are unstable due to loose screws, and the cable machines haven’t been lubricated in years, they’re stiff and squeak loudly when used. Save your money go anywhere else.
