Positive experience: Super place. As a senior, great place to keep in shape

Negative experience: Very nice Large facility with tons of resources for the community. However, as previous posts mentioned I have never seen a cleaning person there cleaning & staying on top of the place. The town needs to provide funding & contract a cleaning company that works around the clock specially during busy hours to clean bathrooms, change rooms, etc… it is a shame that what keeps this place from getting a 5 star review is the lack of cleanliness.

Positive experience: I can really only speak on the fitness centre because I haven’t tried the pool or gymnasium, but it’s a nice place to workout! They have a large indoor track with a bunch of cardio machines. The gym itself isn’t huge, but they do have one of most machines and a big studio room that’s open to use if a fitness class isn’t happening. I went for my first workout here yesterday as my usual gym is closed, and Ally was super helpful! Lots is disposable wipes to clean your machines with, and the fitness area seems to be well maintained. My only complaint is probably the change rooms that lead into the pool deck. The lockers are pretty dirty, and so is the floors, the entire area doesn’t seem to be super maintained. However, the rest of the facility seems to be a lot cleaner. There is the option to leave your boots and coat upstairs, outside of the fitness centre should you not want to use the locker room. All in all. This is a nice place to get a good workout in!

Fantastic experience: Today Danny from the maintenance staff was exceptional with helping find a lost phone. He went above and beyond expectations and told me we will find the phone. With his perseverance he had it in his hand and returned it to me thank you so much for your help.

Positive experience: The Leisure Centre is a great facility with excellent amenities for the community. The two skating rinks are well-kept and perfect for public skating and hockey. The swimming pool is great too! They also run a variety of programs for kids that you can register for. The only downside is the cleanliness of the change rooms, which could be improved! Overall, it’s a fantastic place for sports, recreation, and family activities.

Positive experience: This rink is good and it has very good ice and capacity but it's kind of dirty on the green rink. I think the rooms are good but it has HORRIBLE in the shower. The facility is good though they need better cleaning everywhere you go here.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! From drop in swimming with tots or swimming lessons. They are absolutely great. Happy to have such a place that offers different services close to us.

Positive experience: I'm all for the hockey teams training at the gym in waves, but these guys need to wash their clothes! Wash themselves!! It's a ripe odder. You guys need to do better. Pro players show up and smell like that, and they would get a fine!!

Fantastic experience: Love it here! Variety of activities for the whole family including parent & baby activities. There's a rink, pool, sports gym, fitness gym, and multi-purpose rooms. The facility is kept clean (sometimes, the change rooms for the pool are a little cringe, but that's to be expected). The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: I love the leisure centre, my husband and I have had memberships for the last several months and we really enjoy working out in the gym. Lots to do and friendly staff. I’m giving 3/5 because the facility could for sure use more frequent cleaning. The women’s change room often has garbage and plastic water bottles on the floor and the faucets have absolutely no water pressure at all. Yesterday only a trickle of water came out. Just seems really unsanitary to have sinks that you can barely wash your hands in.

Negative experience: Been Going to this Rec centre for years and I continued to even after leaving Bradford. However the last few swimming times were terrible, today was the end of it. Let’s close half a pool during the only swim time on a Sunday for lifeguard lessons, then continue to fill the rest off pools until you can’t move !! Got in at 1:30 got out at 1:50. Can’t even get a refund if you pay debit. Oh. We have the memo posted online ? Great how about posting it at the front desk. It was unsafe and absolute horrible. And why is the kids pool so murky ? Place is not the same anymore. Terrible Bradford do better !

Negative experience: Beautiful centre, but very dirty everywhere, clean up, so many people need jobs, health department needs to be called.

Fantastic experience: A wonderfull place for fitness, swimming, ice hockey, bedminton and much much more.

Negative experience: This place is always great but not a clean place. My latest visit for the parent and tot swim and I was scared to get in the water as it was murky and the bottom and wall of the pull all had dirt stained. The floor were yellow. Is anyone cleaning this pool? Putting chlorine shouldn’t be all that they do. Update wanted to add some photos to show how dirty this pool is.

Fantastic experience: I visit Bradford once or twice a year. Each time I always sign up for a one month Fitness Membership. I really love working out here because of all the friendly staffs and coaches!

Negative experience: Not safe place to store your stuff in lockers. The padlock was broken by two school kids and valuables stolen. Lots of school kids roaming around with no actual goal to exercise, so be aware that no matter you have padlock or not on your locker any minute while you swim or exercise your stuff can be easily stolen and no one will be held accountable. Liked this place before, but this disgusting experience turned off.

Fantastic experience: Great location, well lit outside. Nice place to go for a walk. Swans and geese live in the pond near by. It's the best place in town to play Cubieverse, I love walking and answering trivia questions

Negative experience: Have booked party rooms many times over the last 6 years, the last 2 rooms were filthy dirty and workers were rude and not very helpful . Toddlers birthday party and there were huge hunks of hair and other things all over room, floor hadn't been swept in a few days for sure and not washed in awhile. Garbage was half full and smelt horrible, there was only a mini fridge in the room on main floor which was also gross. The gym play for his party was the highlight for sure,

Fantastic experience: What a beautiful facility, great seating for the spectators in the hockey rinks, dressing rooms were a nice size, water was hot for the shower and overall a prestine clean facility!!

Positive experience: Went to the Mayor's New Years Levee. Great to see so many families out celebrating, and taking advantage of the free family skating.

Negative experience: I used to register for lots here but some of the programs are open for a few registrants only so basically it is impossible to get a spot like the tennis for kids.They were full at 9am so how is it even possible? Spots are super limited I have been trying for months. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Home of the 2022-2023 National Champion Bradford Rattlers the BWG Leisure centre is a modern, dual pad, hockey rink and fitness facility

Negative experience: Worries me that High school students, from both schools, go there, after school to vape... How is that allowed indoors, and for under age people. Why do our little children have to be exposed to bad fumes and bad habits, when they go to have healthy fun...? Disapointing.

Negative experience: Horrible place . Not a welcoming environment at all , some young kids made fun of my friend and there was nothing addressed from the staff other than blaming her. Horrible place. Do NOT GO HERE

Fantastic experience: Great facility great swimming pool. Excellent hours, the lifeguards are friendly and lane swims are usually not crowded. Lanes are marked and people are very accommodating.

Positive experience: An excellent and clean community centre, with 2 rinks, indoor gym space and a massive pool section, with slide and 3 separate pool areas. Lots of event space for parties, with kitchenettes and ample chairs and tables.

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves her swim lessons. After swimming, it's become a tradition to watch some kiddos playing hockey; my daughter loves sitting in the stands and watching them play. She's excited to play hockey when she gets a little older.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to spend time improving yourself! The gym is clean and a welcoming atmosphere.

Negative experience: Really disappointed in this place!! At no point should I receive a call from my good friend who is so upset because she was bullied here, and the staff did nothing to help her or hold the bullies accountable. This is a place where people should feel accepted and comfortable to work on themselves, not be shamed!! Really gross to hear that the staff tolerated it and even tried to say both parties were at fault. NO! Handle people who bully and harass others properly, especially at a gym, or else you will certainly lose more clients. shame on you guys for this!

Fantastic experience: The leisure centre is perhaps the healthiest component of Bradford WG. The centre is relatively new and well maintained. It's a place bringing the community together and it is well enjoyed by everyone using it. The staff is friendly and professional as well.

Positive experience: Clean and big facility. Come early if you plan to play volleyball or badminton. They let Ltd number of people in and spots are filled quickly.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been taking private swimming lessons with Gabriel. He has been a wonderful instructor showing care, diligence and professionalism every step of the way. My daughter looks forward to her swimming lessons and enjoys his teachings. We hope to have more instructors like Gabriel at the BWG Leisure centre.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and nice, clean facility but sadly had to cancel. Too many people/ loud in gymnasium below the running track and cardio area. Couldn’t crank my podcasts loud enough to dull the constant noise below. Wish they could somehow partition off with plexiglass or something like that. Still, appreciate how nice the ladies at the desk are thank you!

Fantastic experience: Play hockey here on Mondays. Great rink, clean and no ones rushing you to get off the ice.

Fantastic experience: With my son's playing rep hockey, we visit here quite a lot. The staff is friendly and always has a smile and most recently when I arrived someone had dropped something is the parking lot and when I asked for a broom to help clean up the glass, the staff immediately went to help themselves instead.

Fantastic experience: Went to the center for a party that took place in the rec room. The building is well maintained and clean. It looks very new and clean. They have wheelchair access if needed and elevators are relatively quick. There are a couple ice hockey rinks, a basketball court, a swimming pool with a huge slide, fitness room, a track on the top floor. Excellent community center.
