Fantastic experience: A simple Gym with lots of variety. Enjoyed my month of membership with the awesome 24h access and friendly staff. Always clean and a lot of friendly gym goers. Wish it had another cable machine but overall you can hit your muscle groups without inconvenience. Also really enjoyed the boxing class which came as a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for a while now, it's a bit further from my home but right beside the subway so it's super convenient and totally worth it. The classes are awesome! The boxing class with Jotthi and the yoga with Sarita are incredible. The classes are fun, easy to follow and I love that I also get an amazing workout in! All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy working out here. Highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: i started at vive fitness 6 months ago and after a few months of inconsistency, joined personal training with roman. i strongly recommend personal training, or at least using your free functional movement screening. roman is friendly and experienced and actually listens to you and adjusts to create enjoyable yet successful sessions. for someone who had goals but hadn’t figured out a plan yet, personal training made it so much easier to start and at the end, roman provided a map of all the exercises we’d done at what weight for which muscle. i’ve gotten so much stronger, i’m so much more confident in my form and in what to do at the gym and i know if i ever get into a rut, i always have personal training as a resource to turn to.

I forgot to hang my clothes up and just left them on the chair. This person came over just to ask why I didn’t hang my clothes, saying the chair’s for everyone and no one wants to sit next to my stuff. Then he just turned and walked off real fast, haha. Can’t wait to bump into him again so I can show him what good manners are, as a foreign tourist! Free manner class for this guy, next time, don’t run too fast like a rabbit buddy lol. I’m waiting for the guy who says 'no clothes on the bench' to show up. By the way, those shoes belong to another member. I wonder if these shoes and this outfit will affect the nosy bench guy. lol, the store should hire him as the bench manager, 24 hours for free. I waited for you all night, but unfortunately, you didn’t show up.

Fantastic experience: I’m new in Toronto, and i was looking for a gym near of my apartment, and i found this one. When i first came, they sowed me around the gym, and i felt so comfortable. This is an amazing gym and extremly clean. Also, Roman is an excellent personal trainer. He helps me and motivates me to give my best during my workouts so i don’t give up, and i really like that. His training truly works and pushes you to work hard. He is very kind and helpful.

Since joining in summer I’ve been doing personal training sessions with Roman and has become a part of my routine that I look forward to most. I’m a 22 year old female curling athlete and was looking for a gym that felt supportive, uplifting and not too overwhelming. I’ve had gym and personal training experience before through University/College, but after working with Roman I found a new love for training and learning about what works best for me in my workouts. He is very knowledgeable, makes each session enjoyable, and checks in with me throughout to make sure I’m doing well, which I really appreciate. I’ve seen amazing growth in myself physically, mentally, in my energy levels, and confidence. Being an athlete, he worked with my competition schedule to ensure our sessions were aligned well. I am also on the Autism Spectrum, so having open communication was helpful and he was very supportive of my unique needs. I would 100% recommend having a personal trainer through Vive Fitness Bathurst. All the staff is welcoming and kind! Keep up the good work :)

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym because I needed to get in better shape and solve some health issues. I can say that after only one month I have achieved incredible results both for my health and my body, especially thanks to Roman, a highly skilled personal trainer. Positive note also for all the rest of the staff for being really friendly and understanding.

The gym also has free boxing classes and Jotthi is the best as a coach!! PS: her class has the best music playlist to inspire you to kick ass.

Positive experience: I’m a trans girl from Mexico, I really liked that it has no gender washrooms and showers, and the fact that it’s 24/7 for the price its good. The only bad thing it’s that some machines need to be fixed, some of them are in bad state, also some of them looks very old.

Fantastic experience: This is a very good gym, I love how we have access to different classes to attend and have personal shower and change room plus it’s open 24/7 which is cherry on the top. The gym is very clean and hygienic which is the best part. Definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped and clean space with great staff! I signed up for personal training with Roman and had an great experience. To a completely newbie in the gym like myself, Roman was very accommodating and helpful. He was understanding of everything and was a very good guide when it came to teaching and correcting things, even basic ones. I’d definitely recommend the gym and especially working with Roman if you’re looking for personal training. I’m confident he can train people based on their experience.

I cant even say how many good aspects Vive fitness has. 24/7, reasonable price, group classes, and open on holidays as well. More than that, Dong and Roman are very friendly, down to earth. Fantastic experience: I've been hitting this gym for quite some time now, and I've gotta say, it's become like a second home to me. Don, the manager, is just fantastic. Everything is run smoothly and everyone feels welcome. The team here is super friendly and always ready to lend a hand. Plus, the gym itself is clean, well-equipped, and buzzing with positive energy. They also got a new showers and washrooms and new floor for the stretching area. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned gym rat, there's something here for everyone. Big props to Don and the crew for creating such an awesome fitness community. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: It is a really good gym, it has good equipment such as straps and belts and good machines, and i loved that it is 24/7 so you can go whenever you want.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. Non-professional staff who did not explain correctly the fee cancellation terms. Interested only in money and not in the needs of the members. I tried to ask the support of Vive member team: from bad to worse. Incompetent and lacking empathy. Worst experience in Canada by far

Positive experience: It's a hole in the wall gym, that's got all your basics covered. 24 hour access is very convenient and it's located right next to bathurst station. Plus it's almost never crowded! Downside, badly maintained, has been under construction for 4 months. The washrooms are right next to some workout machines. And no dedicated changing or.locker rooms.

Negative experience: Unnecessarily expensive and when i sent an email to cancel, they deliberately responded 2 days later until the money was withdrawn from my bank account. And when i sent an email asking for a refund they said it would take 5 business days which never happened. Total ripoff. Don't recommend.

Negative experience: Vive fitness bathurst is incredibly dirty and falling apart. The ceiling on the top floor is currently streaming with water onto the machines, the front security alarm has been going off for an hour. The recent bathroom renovation is an absolute mess, water from the faucets barely run and splash water everywhere to the point that the bathrooms appear flooded just from hand washing. Machines are falling apart with literal pieces of them coming off and the staff do nothing to fix these issues when notified.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, never so busy that it interrupted my workout, people there are extremely respectful, and staff was beyond accommodating when I canceled my membership to move cities. Loved it!

Negative experience: The gym itself is pretty decent. Comparable to the nearby Hone fitness, although since Vive added the lower floor it’s more spacious. Pretty clean throughout although the amenities could use an upgrade. The low rating is for the management overcharging me (I got double charged for several months) and not caring to refund me. I was given the runaround several times over by the gym manager, his name is Dong, and constantly told me he would have someone from the “support team” reach out and fix things. That obviously never happened and it’s fairly evident that he is the one behind everything. It’s disappointing when a local business treats their community poorly as in this case. It’s a bad look and instead of recommending Vive I’m putting this notice out to be cautious about them. As a new member at Vive, to be receiving this kind of disrespect as my first experience with them is a shame. I’ve been a member at Hone on and off for a few years and have never once had an issue. Everything is simple and above board. Never any mistreatment. If you are considering signing up with either gym, you can take this review into consideration.

Fantastic experience: Probably my favorite Vive gym out of all the other ones I've visited. Always clean and lots of space. Good variety of equipment. Id maybe consider getting few more stretch bands (always seem to get lost) and/or a wooden stretch pole

Positive experience: Big fan of this gym! Has everything you need and isn't super crowded or loud. Would have given 5 stars but the floor of the Zumba room upstairs is often full of hair and dust bunnies which makes floor workouts very unpleasant. I sent an email about this forever ago but never received a reply nor did the cleanliness change which is unfortunate.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, has two levels and the change rooms are all personal which is nice for privacy, they also have showers in them. No free soap or shampoo so gotta bring your own and towels. Has 5 power racks between up and downstairs as well as some turf area on main floor and more machines upstairs. Also has 2 punching bags in the studio area on the second floor

Negative experience: CAUTION: these gym stole my money. The manager and owner of this business are scammers. I sent screenshots showing my payments and the owner literally pretended to have no idea what I was talking about. The disregard he showed towards this case is disgusting. I hope it’s not happening to other members. I am sure this comment is not going to get a reply from these scammers. Amazing

Fantastic experience: Great gym, 24/7, fairly clean. Saw a rat there once, but management was receptive, adding traps and bringing in inspectors. Have had no issues related to this since.

Negative experience: This gym is very nice because is not too full, is complete with all you need and also washrooms are wonderful. I was going to vive fitness located at Dundas west and I move because during no staff hours the gym was power off , no ventifllation, no fans, and it is horrible to do exercise without any type of ventilation and I decide to move here. Unfortunately now this gym is having same issue, it is 1:27 pm Sunday, everything is off, found exercise is horrible and frustrating, at least to open a bit the window. If they are offering a gym 25/4 hours they should have a good location with amenities all 24 hours not just during staff hours. I am in this gym just because is 24 hours open but this is cheating, you can not do exercise properly

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Roman for two years. The dude is awesome! When I met him, I needed help reaching my fitness goals to apply to school for my dream job. Two years later, I've been accepted to school and I feel confident in my ability to keep up with the job requirements of being a firefighter. I have a lot of respect for this guy

Fantastic experience: I was impressed by the gym. Enough space, good cardio machines, a few little extras like punching bags and neck pads for the squat bar. It doesn't have classes running yet, but once they get going, it will be a great spot. No change rooms, so come prepared or change in the washroom. Friendly people greeted me and I had exactly the workout I needed. Thank you Vive!

Positive experience: love the gym overall, and when i was injured from a fall and couldn't attend the gym it was easy to freeze my account. i like the equipments, very complete and well cared for. they lose 1 star though because the washrooms often smell so bad its gross. i know i go during nighttime usually when there is no staff, but they should find a way to keep the washrooms clean. its really gross and i sometimes have to go to multiple stalls to find one where its acceptable to use the toilet. eek!

Fantastic experience: Review: I joined Vive Fitness (Bathurst branch) at the start of April, and started my weight loss & strength training regime with Roman Romanenko. In 4 months, I lost ~10 lbs while building strength. Went from squatting 0 weight to touching 150 lbs & bench-pressing 45 lbs to now 100 lbs! All of the above requires dedication but the journey felt much smoother with Roman’s guidance and attention. He is careful with every set and every exercise, is very professional and great in communication! I highly recommend working with him on your personal journey of weight loss, gaining strength or becoming fit overall!

Positive experience: Although the gym had state-of-the-art equipment and was well-maintained, I found the cost of membership to be quite high compared to other options in the area. While the staff was friendly and helpful, I didn't feel like I was getting personalized attention or guidance during my workouts. Overall, while the gym had some great features, I'm not sure if the price tag is worth it for me.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Vive on Bathurst since August 2022, and it's been an excellent experience so far! The location is super convenient (right next to the subway), the gym itself is a nice size (not small nor overwhelmingly big), and the staff are all very friendly. I've been working with a personal trainer (Roman Romanenko) since I started off very new to working out, and Roman has made working out so much more enjoyable. He's very friendly and a great teacher, and I've seen some great results over the last few months! All in all, would highly recommend this gym :)

I had some reservations as a woman going alone but the gym staff and clientele have been very friendly, kind, and welcoming. Most importantly, I started training with Roman, who has been amazing! He's incredibly knowledgeable and motivating, and his personable and friendly but completely professional approach made every session enjoyable. He took the time to understand my fitness goals and limitations and tailored his guidance to suit my individual preferences. His positive attitude and genuine care for his clients created a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that really helped me get back on my feet. If my financial situation hadn't changed, I would continue working with Roman for as long as possible. He helped quite a lot even in the few months we trained together and I advanced much more quickly than I ever did on my own. If you're looking for a trainer, I wholeheartedly recommend Roman to anyone!

Fantastic experience: This was my gym for 7 years until I moved from the neighbourhood, and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. It doesn’t have all of the frills of some of the bigger gyms, but the space is very well-stocked with all of the necessary equipment regardless of your level or goals, and all of it is kept in good condition. Besides how good the space and equipment are, the staff have always been friendly and helpful, and the other members have always been respectful. A great neighbourhood gym with a great neighbourhood vibe that I’ll really miss. I’d highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the gym for a while but I was only sticking to cardio. I started training with Roman to get into weight training. He listened to what my goals are and chose exercises that would help me reach them. Every session, he would always check in to see how I'm feeling and asked if I have any questions throughout the session. He really pushes you to do your best but also takes care that you don't injure yourself. He's super friendly!! Thanks to him, I'm no longer intimidated to explore other areas of the gym. 10/10 would recommend :)

The ground level offers an ample free-weight area, while the upper level is well-equipped with various exercise machines. Both floors feature 2-3 power racks, ensuring availability even during peak hours. Before I registered, I dropped in without an appointment but the manager was really nice and he showed the gym around. Their membership plans are straightforward and at $50/month, you get unlimited access during operational hours. While the gym can get slightly busier during after-work hours (4-6pm), I have always found enough available machines and spots to complete my workout. I highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable, daily workout gym.
