Fantastic experience: Good condition equipment. Reasonable price. Gymnasium is really good. Lots of space between equipment so you don't feel crowded. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Fair pricing, Tons of room and parking, also has a basketball court which is a big plus.

Fantastic experience: Great facility, staff are friendly and courteous, two squash courts, basketball court (used for volley ball, floor hockey etc) equipment is in good shape, and if equipment is out of service, it is usually back in service on my next visit.

Negative experience: Broken machines. Price isn’t the best for the quality of equipment. Got a month and once it ran out checked online and was charged more than the price said online. Not a fan of the owner either

Negative experience: So the prices for Kids 18 and under is the same as the adults price but the kids can only go half of the day since they aren’t old enough to workout without an employee. Makes no sense price wise. Also the staff are some of the rudest and most incompetent people I’ve ever seen. The owner also likes to call his members to complain and threaten to ban them due to simple mistakes such as letting someone in to grab a bag they forgot. This gym has had its time in this town. It’s time for it to leave or for a new team of employees and especially a new owner. Ive experienced this first hand so I am not lying. Absolutely awful gym would give negative stars if I could.

Negative experience: Went to cancel my membership and the clerk informed me I had to speak to the owner to do so. After multiple calls and emails I was still getting charged. I took matters into my own hands and called my bank to stop the payment and had to pay a fee in order to do so but it was the only way to rectify the issue since the owners were MIA. I don’t recommend this gym.

Positive experience: Great been there alot

Fantastic experience: Great gym, it has everything that you could need. Whether you’re a beginner like me at this point in life. Or have had personal trainer which I had for 3 years in Ottawa before the pandemic. The owner receives feedback very well and responds to it quickly. If you’re a beginner there’s lots of exercise routines that you can do here easily on the machines. I highly recommend this gym as I’ve checked the other gyms out here in Arnprior and this one is by far the best, I feel it’s better than good life, and a fair cost for myself and my family to get in shape and feel healthy again.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Kenwood for a number of years and have always found the staff very approachable and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I play volleyball in a group at the Kenwood Athletic Club and have now for several years, including through the pandemic. The staff always has the nets ready and set up and a pleasant with our group. Thank you

Positive experience: really decent, the 24/7 is really nice, lots of equipment, basketball court, just a little bit overpriced

Fantastic experience: I have gone to a handful of gyms in the city and you will pay double for the facilities that you can make use of at kenwood. I love warming up in the turf room, and being able to go 24/7.

Negative experience: There is more signs of out of order on the machines then there is working. Including the only men’s toilet. So that’s nice. Owner clearly doesn’t care about anything but the pickle ball. Only thing he could probably play. One bench press that’s always taken by the high school kids. Owner won’t fix the two giant pot holes in the parking lot so keep a few rims and tires as spares. Water spout for cold water works as hard as the owner does to keep the gym working. Enjoy the Luke warm Arnprior tap water from the bathroom is the solution.

Negative experience: Hours apparently incorrect online, tried to go in for a tour and membership at 130pm and was told they are technically closed at that time and so I was unable to see the facility or sign up. Kind of frustrating when hours say 830-830 online, and I used my lunch break to come check it out. Seems very odd to just be closed in the middle of the day, and to be dismissed so RUDELY in a business establishment...not worth the hassle, when is that chain gym opening in Arnprior??? Just adding an update here in regards to the question from the owner below - when I arrived the doors were open and there was a staff member at the desk- instead of greeting me or even speaking to me politely to inform me the facility was closed or that she was on break, she gruffly said get out we aren't open and immediately ushered me out and began a smoke break - no info was given about when it was open or when tours might be offered. I felt that in no uncertain terms my patronage was not wanted - clearly there are not many gym facilities in Arnprior and I accept you likely already have a high number of members - no problem at all I go into the city now. As far as the membership online - that is convenient to individuals familiar with facility and culture of the gym but less helpful to those new to town. I understand staffing limits but it is possible to be polite and create boundaries for staff to have time off etc. Again I am sure you have a great business going and perhaps my experience is not a norm but an exception - I have not returned in the 3 months since I wrote the initial review to know. Fantastic experience: Excellent service..facility in great and clean condition

Positive experience: It has all needed machines. Just they need to maintain things well. Cable of some machines need to maintain properly, but in general, has a good air circulation, cool place, not that busy, has lots of place.

Positive experience: Older gym with a good vibe. I just wish they would fix the water cooler, having to get drinking water from a bathroom faucet is a little disgusting.

Fantastic experience: Quiet gym, friendly staff, no time limit and no booking during the day, great old school equipment, with heavy dumbbells up to 120's ,Open 24 hrs(booking for unstaffed hours)and lots of extras..squash, basketball court + more.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff - overall, a really nice Club. I recommend getting out to try a game of Pickelball or Yoga. Parking was so easy!

Fantastic experience: I feel fit

Positive experience: This gym has all the basics you need, equipment, basketball court, squash court and a decent dojo floor of you're into martial arts. Plenty of parking and a central location. On the down side the facilities are generally dirty, bathrooms, change rooms and entrance don't seem to be cleaned very often.

Negative experience: Like a ghost gym, staff are no where to be seen, they do not answer the phone or return calls. They are disorganized and not helpful at all. When you cancel your membership they continue to take money from you account and claim you never cancelled your membership.
