Fantastic experience: every staff member there is really positive and friendly and really easygoing great experience so far if you have any issues there the right people to talk to

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, the staff is very friendly, fun and understanding. They are helpful with any membership issues and care about their customers.

Negative experience: The aggressive marketing from this gym is RELENTLESS. I have not lived in Georgetown for close to 15 years and I am still receiving marketing text messages, phone calls, and emails. I have asked for multiple years to be removed and yet the ads keep coming. Do not give this gym your personal data as they will abuse it for years to come.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. My fiancé and I have been going here for many years now. The owners are very friendly, caring and helpful. The staff is always polite, accommodating, and the gym itself is great. They have great coaches, especially Jennifer and Daniel! This gym has helped and changed me in so many ways for the better since the day I signed up.

Negative experience: These people are crooks, they will try to scam you out of your hard earned money, don't go here. Better prices and amenities offered by other gyms in the area, check for yourself. Seems like they are going out of business. Stay away from this place.

Fantastic experience: I am in my 20th year at this gym and have loved every minute of class time, working with trainers, and time well spent with other members of the club! The gym is always clean and well kept and Brian and Elaina are caring and professional owners. A special shout out to Jen who keeps us all in line!

Fantastic experience: Training at Bao has been an awesome experience since the first day I walked through the doors about two years ago. The staff is friendly and personable, the facilities are spotless, and the community is close knit with options for various classes/clubs. Bao's staff has faced the challenges posed by the pandemic head on and created a greater experience as a result. This is the gym to go to in town.

Fantastic experience: I had been a member of a municipally run gym for some time, however, after having been exposed to BAO, it was an easy decision to become a member. BAO has everything you could want at a gym, (equipment, classes and boot camps) plus an amazingly friendly atmosphere. The ownership is involved on a daily basis, the trainers are receptive and accommodating, the membership cares about their gym. Social distancing and cleaning on an ongoing basis has become normal protocol, with everyone doing their part, from ownership to membership. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend BAO to anyone interested in fitness in a friendly environment.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this gym for many years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It is a very clean and caring place. We were able to have classes via zoom all through the closer. Now the place is very well equipped to handle the present situation. It just has that personal touch.It also has top instructors.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. Have been a member for over 20 years and I’d never go anywhere else. The facilities are up-to-date and clean. Have been very impressed with their handling of COVID rules and restrictions. Staff are amazing-always smiling, welcoming and ready to help members with exercise suggestions, correcting your form, or ways to make the exercises more challenging (thanks Jeff). During these lockdowns it has been especially difficult not being able to go to the gym and that is where Bao has really stepped up. The home workouts that they have posted have been fantastic. They are so motivating, challenging and there’s a lot of variety. Not only has it alleviated the boredom, but it’s been fun learning new exercises and routines and really challenging myself to get through some of these really tough workouts. And Elaina has been awesome at addressing any technical issues or questions I’ve had immediately. Thanks guys for all your hard work; you really go above and beyond. It’s truly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to have found this gym. Having been to a number across the years, this has everything you want in a gym. It is truly 24/7 accessible, is phenomenally clean, has enough equipment, and the right kinds, lots of changeroom space, lots of parking, and wonderfully friendly staff. The employees and owners seem to know everyone by name, and the guests all feel friendly, as well as hardworking and focused on their workout. I have felt completely safe going in evening hours as a solo woman, have never had to wait for a machine, and have felt safe during the COVID time and procedures. Thanks so much, BAO, for the wonderful space. Getting back into a gym routine coming here has already done so much for both my mental and physical health, and I'm so glad to have become a member.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality Training at Bao is a very positive experience, the staff and owners are available for questions if any. The gym floor in not over crowded and kept very clean, I'm looking forward to many more training sessions there!!

Fantastic experience: I had experienced serious leg injuries and it was a long rehab. Training with Bhav dramatically increased the strength in my legs enabling me to get back running, playing with the kids etc..Bhav and the staff at BAO were fantastic in helping me reach my goals.

Fantastic experience: Bao offers everything I need in a gym but with a level up in friendly staff, a welcoming environment and fantastic services. Recently I completed an in-body scan that will help me to achieve the more specific results I am looking for. Their trainers are hard working and knowledgeable and most importantly nowadays, the place sparkles as the members and staff try to take care of the facility and each other.

Fantastic experience: BAO is by far the most inclusive facility I have ever had the pleasure to work at and workout at. Brian and Elaina are amazing! They truly care about their members and staff and have gone to great lengths to adapt during these uncertain times to keep the facility clean and safe. Our members are the best. You cannot walk onto the gym floor without someone saying hello. If anyone out there is looking for a comfortable and non pretentious place to workout, BAO is for you.

Fantastic experience: I have to congratulate management AND staff for their efforts to ensure that all members are able to exercise in a safe and healthy environment. Regular cleaning and disinfecting of the gym, machines and weights maintains this environment. Further all members assist in this regime by respecting others and following (now) established social protocol. The instruction, both individual and in classes, is optimised to ensure social distancing while being first rate with much encouragement to support the achieving of ones goals. Again thank you all for your continued diligence!

Fantastic experience: Great place to go for a workout. The classes are great, I never had to wait for equipment, towels are no longer included I can go anytime I want with my pass. As far as the dress code comments.. yup there's a dress code. I don't understand the outrage.. I don't go to the mall shirtless .... because there's a dress code

Fantastic experience: Great gym, hometown feeling, no intimidation factor, and really clean. The owners care about their members, and trainer Jeff was able to help me to gain a ton more mobility from an old injury.

Fantastic experience: Bao goes above and beyond for their members. The gym is well equiped and has everything you need-- from all the workout equipment you would need to numerous classes like zumba, cycling and yoga. The staff are incredibly friendly, always willing to help you out in any way they can while in the gym. I am currently writing this review in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, excited to start the ZOOM body sculpting class that Bao has organized, using the weights Bao has made available so we can maintain our health and fitness during this difficult time. The Bao team is works tirelessly to facilitate a great experience for members, whether it be adding new classes, renovating their spaces, and buying more equipment to make it more accessible and easy to use. As a member of over 5 years (and 20 pounds later!), I am so grateful for the Bao institute and cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Well maintained facility, staff are always there to help you. It's smaller gym, but almost has everything you would need. Also rarely ever gets overcrowded which is a bonus. Also a great studio to use late at night when empty! The Bao's are fantastic people!

Negative experience: Awesome place if you like overcoming adversity from the owners themselves. Try wearing a SPORTS BRA here. See what happens. You will be told to leave/kicked out. I'm not even kidding. Happened to a nice Woman last week. Lol, once again.... You will be kicked out if you wear a bra designed for physical activity here. This gym is a joke, always had been and always will be. Please do not give these people money, they will only use it to shame others with thier "policies".

Fantastic experience: My husband and I love going to Bao. Friendly staff, variety of machines, classes and weights to choose from. Even on a busy day/night always have a machine available to complete our workouts.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym!!! Been a member for five years. Love the intimate gym setting. Not intimidating atmosphere for men, women or newby's. Personal trainers have played a huge roll in my transformation and love for fitness. Love that BAO offers a variety of fitness classes and practices and overall healthy lifestyle image. I highly recommend this gym, especially if you are new to exercise and enjoy working out in a professional setting!!

Fantastic experience: I have never been much of a gym rat and the gyms I have tried in the past were always intimidating with large rooms filled with fit people who knew what they were doing- nothing like me. :) And the staff at these other places always seemed too busy to interact or assist with machines or form. After trying out BAO for the first time in December, I was instantly impressed by the level of professionalism and friendliness of all the staff. My personal training sessions with Elaina were just great- I felt like I was working out with a friend. And she’s one of the owners! After our sessions I was expecting she would try and sell me a membership but instead she encouraged me to continue my fitness goals when and how I wanted because she wanted to see me succeed. I have since joined BAO as a member and am looking forward to my time there.
