Jocelyne is a detail oriented teacher who explains in ways to ensure all the class feels comfortable and understands the movements. I enjoyed the choreography, the performances, the props and the community!! Such a fun way to incorporate movement into lifestyle

She leads class in a pleasant way which has even allowed friendships to blossom within the group! And although she pushes us to learn and achieve more when it comes to technique, she never puts pressure on anyone and is very mindful and respectful of people's needs and/or restrictions when it comes to performances. Look forward to learning more with Jocelyne in the new year!

The people make you feel at home there in a positive, judgment-free environment where you'll learn, you'll connect and you'll enjoy the culture and the company. Dunya is an amazing director who always strives to get the best teachers and professionals to give classes and workshops. If you're a dance enthusiast, beginner to advanced, and you're from the area (or even passing by) This is the dance studio for you.

I attend regular classes in Orleans with Jocelyne and have taken a few classes with Cathy, and I love how each has their unique dance and teaching styles. At Duniya, I know I am guaranteed a relaxed class environement where I feel comfortable, confident, learn new techniques and have a great time. I look forward to going to class every week with Jocelyne (she's so lovely) and has the best choreographies for the end of session performance. Looking forward to many more years honing my raqs sharqi skills. If you're looking to start shimmying or to get back into it after a while, Duniya studio is the spot!

Expérience négative: i have called this place a few times and left messages, they never return calls. I have even dropped by and left a written message and still no response. i wouldn't trust an outfit that doesn't even know how to start serving its potential clients.
