Expérience fantastique: This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely amazing hosts, great food and drinks. However… a bit more effort towards clearing the cob webs would be appreciated… also, plumbing sucks, not to be a princess, but I prefer a warm bidet for my bottom over an outhouse. But! We will definitely be coming back!

Expérience fantastique: Wow, where to start? From the state of the art training facilities to the co ed washroom, the devil is in the details here at Gary's. Our instructor Todd, armed with his range finder and all the confidence that Gary himself instilled in Todd, personally took us to their freshly groomed back 9. Located just beyond the skateboard training, this beauty will provide challenges for all skill levels. I opted to camp out in my van for the night but the sleeping arrangements are second to none. I'd suggest bringing you earplugs if you are a light sleeper, we had a guy snoring so loud it woke the neighbor, lol I digress, in closing the Gary Golf Academy comes highly recommended and be sure to ask about the late night skinny flops!

Expérience négative: I have been trying to get my game to the next level for a while now and after a lot of consideration i decided to give the Fort Garry Golf Academy a try. I heard a lot about them and their top of the line facility and thought to myself "Hey, why not give it a try? whats the worst thing that could happen?" Boy was I in for a surprise. After a full 24-hr all inclusive swing retreat event, i came out of there looking for answers. My swing was no where near as dialed-in as promised and i had some serious reflecting to do. During the retreat, when we were in the middle of the technical review, the lead instructor was going over how to incorporate his patent "cribbage method" into the pre-game routine and his equipment blew a hydraulic leak. He was able to get it under control and cleaned up with a case of shop wipes but this was a little awkward. We finally seemed to get things back on track and he even had his staff get some treats baked up in the easy bake oven for us which was great. Although, his associate kept stealing the treats and he giving me weird looks while chewing aggressively. Aside from that, i was on the program and feeling dialed-in. The boys made sure to emphasize the importance of minimal rest prior to game day. The instructor had his uncle Gary come by to end the night with some final remarks and positive advice for the next day. He really knew his stuff. Finally we made it out to the course and things got off to a great start. The balls were long, deep and dialed in... just as advertised. This gave me hope and i thought to myself "Maybe the academy knows what they are doing....this is great!". By the back 9 the instructor could not keep any of his drives in play and his overly aggressive style seemed to have taken its toll on both of us. If you are looking to get dialed in and firing low, i would not recommend the 24-hr all inclusive retreat.

Expérience positive: My experience at Fort Garry was nothing short of incredible. I was absolutely floored by the staff and facilities. My game was in such disarray, but the patience and focused attention I received as well as the personalized and one on one treatment has me all aboard on the birdie train! Special shout out and thank you to Grounds keeper Garry who really put the cherry on the top of a truly amazing weekend!

Expérience fantastique: What an experience. Went in with some short game issues and one of there top pros Gary Wills taught me the low skipper, drop and stop bunker shots and dont forget the rail wedge system. Can say enough good things about Gary and the academy.

Expérience fantastique: I went to Fort Garry not knowing what to expect.. and man I was blown away! Great place, great staff, an overall excellent facility. My swing is sorted and confidence has never been higher. Can’t wait to come back!!
