Expérience fantastique: Coach Charles, is the best in the business. He is very good at helping one reach their fitness goals. In my case, I wanted to build more strength and speed for my sport. He is remarkable at what he does and really cares for his people.
Expérience fantastique: Charles is the best personal trainer I’ve worked with. I came to Charles looking for a training program that would be customized to my needs (in my case building strength and muscle) and a trainer who would provide structure to my workout routine. Charles delivered on all of that and much more. We started by addressing some core issues I had in my prior workout routines (i.e. form issues and stability) and gradually progressed into a program that helped me achieve my workout goals. The structure and discipline he brings to each workout is terrific. I have now worked with Charles for two years and he has helped me increase the intensity of my workouts (strength and endurance are both up) and we have achieved every health goal we set. He also goes above and beyond by providing me with different suggestions on diet, lifestyle and health tips that I use on a daily basis. Most importantly, I feel he’s really invested in my success and cares. That’s been the biggest difference working with Charles and why I believe his program has been so successful for me.
Expérience fantastique: With Charles I had 3 months to get prepared for a baseball season. Starting from essentially scratch my goals were to increase strength, speed, explosiveness and mobility. We achieved and more. Never would I think I would get to this point in my athletic career and it’s thanks to Charles. Even with challenges like major strength imbalances in my legs we worked to get them back. All my different exercises throughout the 3 months have increased immensely. Charles created plan that’s easy to adapt and very detailed to me. He is the best trainer I’ve worked with and if you are serious about improving your health there is no one better
Expérience fantastique: I am an undefeated professional boxer and this place helped me recover from years of injuries, a car crash, and incorrect training from other trainers. When I started training with Coach Charlie this time last year, I was still recovering from a horrible car crash even though I had just won my comeback fight in November 2022. Charlie was able to identify my weaknesses, imbalances, and bad habits I picked up from other trainers. Since I started at the Executive Athlete Training center, I have won 3 fights, 2 fights by knockout and I am in the best shape of my life. Charlie builds lifetime habits that will only improve your training and performance and take you to the next level! I'm excited to continue training here and improving daily, Charlie is the best strength training Coach I've had in my career!

Expérience fantastique: If you are looking for a place to learn, grow and train, look no further. The people: Charles and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They take the time to listen, understand and evaluate the issues and chronic pain I was experiencing. After a thorough evaluation, they pointed out things I (nor anyone else) have never noticed before and put together an exercise routine specifically tailored for me. Different variations were provided so that as I got stronger exercises could be tweaked to provide more of a challenge and target certain areas. The place: EAT offers a great space with excellent equipment. You can see from my video and photos that everything you need to achieve your goals is there and it is all so well maintained. The experience at EAT is nothing like other gyms I have been to. If you want a place that cares, and a team that takes the time to understand your goals and works with you to achieve them, then definitely give this place a try. I will be always grateful for how they helped me.

Upon my first consultation with Charles and Neil, it was made clear that they would go above and beyond to help me accomplish my fitness goals. By learning the proper techniques, exercises, and fixing my dietary plans over the course of training with the team at EAT, I was able to satisfy my fitness goals sooner than anticipated. I am now able to push through training barriers which I once thought would not be possible, and I’ve learned to apply this to help propel me through other ambitions in life. I highly recommend this place to anyone - EAT is what defines quality training!

Expérience fantastique: Training at EAT has been an amazing experience. At first, I was skeptical about joining since I didn't particularly enjoy weight lifting, and as someone who works a sedentary job, I didn't think I would fit in. However, Charles and his team changed my perception on day 1. The EAT team are experienced professionals who take a holistic approach towards your health. My trainer Josh has been amazing, it’s clear that he and Charles are passionate about seeing each client progress and achieve their goals - whether you are an athlete or someone looking to get in shape. Weight lifting has become a positive experience for me. Every session has challenged me to become the best version of myself. I recommend EAT without reservation!
Expérience fantastique: Great gym and facility. Charles and Tyson as well as all the other staff at the gym are extremely knowledgeable. As an athlete that has worked with them for quite some time, I could not recommend a gym more that can get you strong and ready for the season in your respective sport. Even non-athletes that are simply looking to get in better shape need to look no further. Gives these guys a chance and they will do wonders for you!!!

Expérience fantastique: If you want fitness results, look no further. Charles is a “strength whisperer”, he has an eye to spot areas of weakness that stand in the way of achieving your goals. I came to EAT a year and half ago, still recovering from my motorcycle accident. I was barely able to squat 300 pounds, but Charles challenged me to set a goal of 400 pounds. In my mind it was totally unachievable, but was interesting to pursue. With Charles’ guidance I hit the goal 9 months later. At the same time he improved my form, mobility, and flexibility. After a short period of time the gym became like a second home. It is always clean and the equipment is readily available, which is what you expect from a studio gym. Its not uncommon to run into the same people, and it’s especially refreshing to experience such sincere friendliness. Its also amazing and inspiring to see the progress of others. There’s everything from elementary kids, university athletes, to older executives. And everyone is moving forward, getting stronger, faster and leaner, every week. If you are looking for a place to train downtown, Toronto, want results and are willing to work hard, look no further than EAT and Charles.

From my first meeting with Charles & Neil, all my concerns - as a female & a non-athlete - about "gym culture" were set to rest. The owner Charles has created a incredibly positive, professional environment, and this standard of friendliness & respect is shared by the training team, as well as the clients. I can honestly say I have never once felt uncomfortable or self-conscious there - which is truly a testament to Charles' values & commitment to excellence. No workplace or recreational environment I have ever encountered has a more exemplary, professional, safe environment. My trainer Neil's dedication is unparalleled. I'm not naturally inclined to take instruction & also had reservations about working with a male trainer, but I have never had the pleasure of working with someone so professional, patient & attentive! His training has given me the ability & confidence to do the impossible, while feeling safe every step of the way. During my first consultation they correctly identified physical issues without my telling them, and this level of attention & insight is the reason they are so trusted. After 3 sessions, the knee pain I had been suffering from for months was gone. And as someone who couldn't squat with no weight, being able to now squat my body weight (and counting!) seems like a dream! When you train here, you have the benefit of the combined knowledge of the EAT training team. They have a reputation as a popular facility for elite athletes, so for someone like me it was amazing to see how willing they are to focus their wealth of expertise on my particular goals. I recommend EAT to anyone without reservation!
