Expérience positive: Small campground ,great job of keeping everything groomed. Nice general store,good selection and reasonable prices. Neighbors very friendly .

Expérience positive: Campground was well maintained and they had lots of toys for my kids to play with! The staff was all super friendly. Wish it had water access but it was a nice stay!

Expérience fantastique: Nakamun RV Park, it's owner and staff are incredible. Went out expecting very little by way of service and was blown away. The owner was very professional and accommodating and as I was introduced to his staff they shared their love for the place, Always a good sign.

Expérience négative: Prices are ridiculous, I don't mind paying a bit extra for convenience, but they gouge. Lady and gentleman that work there are very nice, but over shadowed by the rude owner...defiantly not what it used to be.

Expérience négative: Don't even think about going to that terrible place. The prices there are absolutely ridiculous, like they're trying to rob you blind. And don't get me started on the staff - they're rude and disrespectful, like they're doing you a favor by even acknowledging your existence. Trust me, it's not worth your precious time to go there. Save yourself the hassle and avoid it like the plague.

Expérience négative: Scammed over 500 dollars over the July long weekend. Booked 3 nights at 150 dollars a night, upon arriving and after payment we were shown to our falsely advertised camper that was supposed to sleep up to 6 guests and be pet friendly at which the host was unimpressed with as there was 4 adults and 2 children as he made a comment that he normally doesn’t rent this site to more than 2 adults and 3 young children and then said oh and you have a dog. He then informed us that the shower was out of service as it did not drain, and the awning was wrecked the summer before resulting in our belongings outside getting soaked from the rain and our dog having to sit out in the rain all day and night. After an hour of being there we found mouse feces in a storage space near the stairs of the camper, under the sink in the bathroom on the rug in the bedroom and under the fold down couch. This camper does not meet safe health standards as the window in bedroom is cracked and leaks water. Many more problems you can read from my Facebook review on Nakamun Rv Park fb page. Darien our host denied us a refund even though we left the next morning before check out time as this was not only false advertisement but a real health hazard to us and our children. I would not recommend staying here unless you want to be disappointed in all aspects and not be refunded when you’re whole weekend is ruined and need to leave because it’s not whats advertised nor is it clean or safe to stay in! 0 stars in my opinion.

Expérience négative: Scam. Booked a camper through hipcamp for 3 nights and lost over 500 dollars. Check Facebook reviews to see my entire review. NAKAMUN Rv park is just as pathetic as the owner DARIEN. The camper is unsafe as it is infested with mice and their fecal matter! He uses tape to fix his camper. The shower and awning are not in service so if it rains expect all your things to get soaked and you better bring some Kraft dinner because you won’t be cooking much in that tiny little camper that does NOT SLEEP 6 guests as posted and don’t bring your dog either because he won’t be impressed even tho his ad also says pets allowed. This site is awful and you won’t have the camping experience you expect. I strongly suggest reading my full review on their fb page to save yourselves from losing your money as you will not be refunded what so ever. The other bad review on here is all too accurate, you will be locked in as he closes gates from 7 pm to 10 am week days and 9pm to 10 am on weekends. There is nothing to do in this tiny gated Rv Park so expect to drive over 10 mins to nakamun lake. Better off booking at a real camp site or don’t camp at all. You’ll get 0 privacy it’s over crowded and he does indeed dress up like a sheriff and is creeping on guests wandering the sites making it feel the opposite of peaceful camping. Expérience fantastique: Have been camping here regularly for past 4 years.Love the overwhelming calming effect that hits me as soon as I pass through the gate.Its a small private park.The owner and staff always friendly and helpful and offering anything you need to make your visit enjoyable.The fully stocked store and other amenities like available shower and coffee room and laundry room mean you have absolutely all you need.Always a perfect experience.

Expérience fantastique: Wow, Richard's review is so off the mark and this coming from a person who spent less weekends in the park than anyone else, who never took care of his grounds, lets his tent blow all over the park and he is coitizing the owner for making it a peaceful and tranquil place for the rest of us. This is our fourth season in the park, Darien has been great to us and everyone else around, of course he expects everyone to follow the rules, we expect it too. We love the sheriff hat and so do the kids when he rides them around the park in the side-by-side. Nakamun park and staff are the best, we feel at home because they make it feel like home. Don't listen to comments from a bitter person who had no respect for the park. Looking forward to another great season, come and join us.

Expérience fantastique: Absolutely love this place! There is a serious sense of pride and care put into this spot. I feel very safe and comfortable camping with my kids due to the fully fenced area and amazing staff. It feels like one big family here and it is definitely one of the best RV parks we have been to!

Expérience fantastique: Nice little place to get away. Very secure camping site. Shout out to the owner and his brother, they are the nicest and helpful guys you will ever meet. Family oriented park. Store on site was awesome too. Recommend this place as one of your camping bucket list to visit.
