Expérience fantastique: Bordercity Barbell is a pristine facility with a plethora of training equipment for all your needs. The local owners' passion for their business really shows in the equipment they have procured and are continuously updating as well as their community involvement. Facility is absolutely clean and organized at all times and The Pit is a great place to focus and get some lifting in amongst like-minded people. 3 large lifting platforms for Squats and Deadlifts welcome me weekly and are equipped with brand new racks - I usually never have to wait to start lifting. Highly highly recommend this facility for any type of lifter, or lift-curious people!

Expérience fantastique: I love this place and the vibe. Amazing staff and owners. Huge selection of quality equipment and a lot of space. Everything is taken care of from a mechanical standpoint. This gym caters to everyone from beginners to pros. The cleanliness is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Even the spaces in between where the walls and floors meet are clean. The rules there are strict which is good and the owners are very clear and direct with their standards. I like that because it keeps the place in check and demonstrates their pride in keeping this gym as a top notch place.

Equipment was always functional, clean and fit any fitness needs we required. 24 access was amazing and our key fobs always worked. Thank you BorderCity Barbell.

Expérience fantastique: If you're looking for a gym that has an unmatched community, support system & encouraging team and staff members - this is it. The owners have years of collective experience in the gym environment that isn't your typical commercial gym. The members are also incredible people. The gym offers more than a place to throw weights. Community, support, unity and encouragement come with it! Tons of class times for spin, bootcamps, personal training! You name it. BCB is where it's at.

Expérience négative: Will not return. If a gym is confident they will attract members, they wouldn't charge for the first time to check out their facilities. Paid anyway, this is what I found. Premium pricing for old, 2nd hand equipment. While I was there, there was probably 15-25 people that came through and I could say fairly confidently that only I only saw about 2 people wipe their machines/attachments. There's no disposable paper towel to wipe the equipment with, just 2 spray bottles and 2 towels per corner of the gym. I'm definitely not a covid freak whatsoever but general cleanliness is a must for me.

Expérience fantastique: For a straight to work hard going gym, this is without question the place to be. Their staff is welcoming and insightful. If you you know what you want out of a gym, go get it here. Enjoy the pit!

Expérience fantastique: This gym is incredible!! The vibe is so welcoming and encouraging. Nobody is better than anyone else and every member supports all others. Brooke and Paddy are wonderful owners. So attentive to the gym and their members. I've had to inquire or message about a few things, and I always hear back within a few minutes or hours at the very least. I've taken Trista's spin class since she was at Sharky's, and she is a rockstar instructor. BorderCity is a great addition to Sarnia. Whether you've been at it for years, or just starting out, BorderCity is the only gym you should be considering.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym and great environment! I have been a member now for about a week and I love it! ❤️ The owners and staff are passionate about fitness. They actually workout at their gym! Communication and accessiblity through social media are fast, easy, and simple, and whatever questions will be answered! There's no silly questions! Very active on IG! I go to the gym early, so I don't get to interact with lots of people! But the few members I have seen so far have been courteous. I even asked for a spot to a random member today, and he didn't hesitate to help. (not guaranteed to everyone will be) Whatever level you are or style of workout you do, there's something for it. They also got TRX's, Personal Trainers, PR Board, and classes! It's worth going for a tour during staff hours!
