Dawn is an experienced instructor offering a really valuable class for all experience levels and I hear their other classes and instructors are great as well.

I had the pleasure of taking yoga classes with Holly and Sarah in their beautiful and clean studio space. There are so many yoga props to choose from for a very accessible practice for any body. I really enjoyed my time here I would recommend this gym if you live in the Ancaster area!

Expérience fantastique: In these crazy times, Heron Creek is a real haven; the owners, the trainers, the staff, the equipment, are all as wonderful as ever, and the COVID-19 protocols are terrific ... staff are constantly disinfecting the whole place, and clients are being very careful to clean equipment before and after use; it's never crowded, has very high ceilings, and good air circulation, and bottom line is that I feel safer there than I do at the grocery store. Thanks to everyone for making it so.

Expérience négative: Unfortunately, I'm not able to offer a full review of the facilities as I was unable to get my foot in the door. I reached out to Heron Creek to inquire about their gym and services but wanted to know the prices before going into the gym. Despite being living nearby and being interested in making a long term commitment to a local facility, they refused to offer their prices without forcing me to come into the gym for a sales pitch. Wanting to know the price of a service in advance is not really an unreasonable ask in my opinion. Nevertheless, they refused to be transparent about their costs and instead implied there were other options if I was only interested in cost (which was not the case). Not a great way to treat new customers.

Expérience fantastique: I joined Heron Creek Yoga and Fitness in April 2019, primarily because of the variety and number of yoga and fitness classes; and, the experience of the instructors and trainers. Dawn, the owner, asks for and delivers on our input on the schedule and facilities. In addition to the gym and the yoga/fitness classes, I've also taken part in free seminars offered by the personal trainers. I really appreciate that they care about our education and knowledge, so we can progress better.

Expérience fantastique: Just took my first spin class at Heron Creek after joining.. I spin a lot and have had lots of different instructors over the years all over North America. I just have to say that my spin with Christine was top notch. The music selection was timed so well to add to the progression and exertion level of each segment. Designing spin classes is an under recognized art and Christine's class was great.

Expérience fantastique: In my 20+ years as a personal trainer I've had the good fortune to work at a few different places and, from the very first time I walked in the door here, I noticed a distinct difference between Heron Creek and the others. Specifically, the welcoming atmosphere as well as the supportive staff and community here make it such a great place to spend my days. Never before have I seen owners so engaged with their community and who care so much about serving them to the best of their ability. If you're looking for an impersonal Globo-Gym feel then this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a spacious facility and plenty of classes (both fitness and yoga) with staff and members that make up a community that genuinely cares about you, then you're going to love it here.

You walk in the door and belong‍♀️ I have never experienced the variety and top quality of the classes available. There is something for everyone. Expérience positive: It's OK. I took the tour and met the owner, the equipment and venue seem ok. But I wasn't impressed with the class schedule - it doesn't suit my needs. They cater to more yoga and flow type of classes, no boot camp or cardio classes at times to fit my schedule. If that's what you need; fine, but it's not for me.

Expérience fantastique: I would highly recommend Heron Creek Fitness, as a matter of fact I did just that recently, I closed my gym and encouraged my members to join Heron Creek Fitness, because of the great atmosphere here. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, the equipment is well organized and maintained and the classes are awesome. I know the classes are awesome, because I teach the Zumba and I have a ton of fun with it! And my former members... well they're thrilled to be in such a great club!

Expérience négative: Yeah the gym is nice and quiet which is beneficial. However, other gyms in Ancaster are just more superior overall such as GoodLife. It is also a cheaper price for the family and the weights/trainers at Goodlife are just at a different level. Go here if you hate waiting and wanna be alone.

When I began taking classes at the Ancaster studio nearly two years ago I was 66 and feeling my age -- tight and losing strength. I worried about all the young, fit bodies, about teachers pushing a bit too hard. My fears were unfounded. The culture of Heron Creek is gentle, inclusive, encouraging and generous. I was thrilled that some of my teachers are themselves in their 40s and 50s. About the teachers, I can only say they are The Best! Each offers something a bit different, but each is dedicated and inspiring and human, which has created the warmest of communities. Owner Dawn Sarabura -- herself an exceptional teacher -- keeps students moving and growing by continually offering new workshops ... from Yoga Nidra classes to Glowga evenings.
