Expérience fantastique: Tru Performance and Rehab completely transformed my joint flexibility and strength. Following a knee injury, I underwent a physiotherapy and rehabilitation program there for over a month, and the results were remarkable. Jurrene conducted my initial assessment and guided me through my first three physiotherapy sessions. She was incredibly attentive, ensuring I fully understood each exercise. Her approach focused on maximizing effectiveness by teaching me how to properly engage specific muscles, maintain good posture, and breathe correctly. For the remainder of my sessions, I worked with Anisa, who brought a fun and positive energy to each appointment. Even though I’ve never been particularly fond of exercise, especially physiotherapy, Anisa made it an enjoyable experience. She introduced challenging exercises that not only respected my limitations but also steadily built my strength and mobility. After just a month and a half, I was so pleased and proud to see my progress thanks to those two amazing professionals. My knee feels significantly better, and I’m grateful for the expert care and support I received at Tru Performance and Rehab.

Expérience fantastique: Jurrene did an amazing during my initial assessment for Physiotherapy. She was a pleasure to have as a physiotherapist. She was unlike any physiotherapist I’ve ever seen before. She taught me breathing techniques and exercises to improve my posture, she explained things in simple terms, which made it easy for me to understand. For every rep of my workout, she ensured that I was breathing correctly and my form was perfect. She also taught me strategies, methods, and techniques for each exercise to ensure I was doing it to maximum efficiency. Kinjal has provided me with much relief! She has given me massages and applied acupuncture to get rid of my knots and tension in my muscles. After my first session with her I had much relief, my muscles were able to move in ways they couldn’t before. I have seen Anisa for personal training and soft tissue massages, I love the fact that she has me working towards my goals in a fun and effective way. I am doing exercises I never thought I’d be able to do. I am already seeing major differences in my body in such a short amount of time and I have been getting compliments from others. I haven’t been able to see these results with my past trainers. Anisa motivates me and pushes me to get through each and every workout, and it leaves me feeling like I could conquer the world. Overall, my sessions and interactions with all employees have been nothing short of tremendous. Shoutout to Joy, Sean and Sabrina and the entire team for always motivating me, providing me with a seamless session and always putting a smile on my face. Coming to Tru Performance and Rehab is always a great time!

Expérience fantastique: Tru Performance and Rehab is one of my favorite places to be when it comes to health and wellness, It's a well equipped boutique gym- it places emphasis on free weights and kettlebells. The staff are knowledge and friendly and easy to approach. From personal trainers to chiro to massage - its a one stop shop!~ It's easy to access either by public transportation or car and has free parking! The owners have created such a welcoming and warm environment that no matter what fitness level you are at, its all inclusive and does not feel daunting to enter . I feel safe and secure here- it truly is the definition of a judgment free zone.

It is easy to get a hold of them and make appointments or changes. I've been seeing amazing improvement in my mobility and wouldn't want to go anywhere else for physiotherapy!

I went in with what I thought was an injured ankle turned out to be way different....From actually being diagnosed to planning out treatment and then strengthening the affected area they explain every aspect and in terms I was able to undertand! I 1000% recommend this team of knowledgeable professionals who seek your best interest. Oh the washroom has a cool mirror with buttons (lollol)

Expérience fantastique: You haven't had a great Yoga instructor until you've experienced Sylvia. She tailors your hour to the level of the class and walks around corrects the things you can be doing better. Very personable with a hands on approach rather than your typical instructor who just goes through the motions. You won't find better anywhere! I've also had physio on my knee here with Nick. He zeroed in on my issue and it has improved dramatically. I highly recommend him!

I particularly love how their practitioners and staff take the time to listen to you. In the last 30 years I have been to many clinics and gyms. They pale in comparison to TruPerformance who’s model is to put the client first. Other places rush you in and out so that they can capitalize on profit and not on their clients well being. Expérience fantastique: I would like to take a moment to make a few comments regarding Tru Performance and Rehab, specifically the Yoga program under the guidance of Sylvia Perry. I'm a 59yr old male who's led a very active lifestyle, bodybuilding, martial arts (Ju-Jitsu) and men's League competitive Rugby. As a result I've suffered many injuries and chronic ailments from the decades of abuse. Many required hospitalization, rehab and pain management afterwards. I was on a steady and costly regime of meds, chiropractor and acupuncture visits to address the pain and it was becoming a growing concern. When my Chiropractor recommended starting Yoga I literally laughed out loud and said, " your joking right? Big men don't do Yoga" (I'm 6' 240lbs) That being said, something had to change. I could continue managing my pain with costly treatments or, address and strengthen the source through Yoga , what did I have to lose? I will admit starting Yoga in a class of mostly woman was a bit awkward at first, Sylvia was both inclusive, and reassuring that I was welcome. It was quickly evident that she was knowledgeable and attentive to my needs and concerns. She made sure that I did only what I could and not potentially injure myself or, aggravate and old site. After attending a few classes I was very surprised to find that my mobility, core strength and state of mind had improved and I was seeing progress. Subsequently my need to have Chiropractic sessions lessened considerably. In closing, I simply cannot say enough about the benefits of practising Yoga at Tru Performance and Rehab, nor, the professionalism and knowledge of Yogi Sylvia Perry. I'd like to specifically address the men here," Big men can do Yoga". You will honestly be surprised at the many benefits achieved, if you give it a shot and take that first step! Namaste

Edit: Wanted to provide additional feedback as I continued to use the team’s services. This time around, I worked alongside both Sarah and Nick. With a wonky shoulder after years and years of baseball, Sarah helped support me here with acupuncture and soft tissue release to bring me back to regular physical activity. With Nick, we did both cupping and deep tissue massage, identifying areas of opportunity to releasing tightness and knots as I go back to a rigorous routine. Shout out to these two and the rest of the team for their continued support! Highly, highly recommend!
