Expérience négative: it was very unfortunate how they treated that young retired Calgary business that had autism that was featured in Business In Calgary. It was completely inappropriate . :(

Expérience fantastique: Was in Calgary for some meetings and was able to get by the club. Terrific renovations and the squash was top notch!

Expérience négative: The wait to order lunch, okay. The wait for lunch to actually be delivered, fine. Having a BLT with soup served 15 minutes after everyone else got their meals??? You are kidding me. The service might be friendly to a fault, this probably was avoided without the extensive chit chats with every table.

Expérience fantastique: Really nice, updated modern club. The locker room facilities are great, they have everything you’d need to get ready to go to work which is a huge plus. They also offer laundry service so you don’t have to take your clothes back and fourth. Haven’t tried the food yet but I’m sure it’s great. I go during post-lunch rush in the mid afternoon so it’s not too busy. If you’re thinking about joining book a tour and see for yourself.

Expérience fantastique: My experience at the Bow Valley Athletic Club was 10/10 and the club impressed me in many different ways. First off, it was easy to get to. Parking underground was plentiful, and I was in the club 2 minutes after parking. The concierge validated my parking which was a nice bonus. The club was way bigger than I thought, with multiple racquet courts, a restaurant, a lounge, studios for yoga and HIIT classes, and a fully equipped gym with strength equipment and cardio machines. The changing rooms were spacious and luxurious. The showers were pristine and provided all the amenities I needed, and they have a fantastic eucalyptus steam room and a dry sauna with beach chairs. The men's changing room even had a lounge and bar with complementary snacks and drinks! I wish I could go here every day, but I'll settle for going every time I'm in Calgary.

Expérience fantastique: Private club, however the restaurant is open to the public: the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. One of my favourite places downtown.

Expérience fantastique: We do not hesitate to recommend The Bow Valley Club to squash players who work downtown. Ken Cross and the staff there are very professional and the club has a great group of players.

Expérience positive: This used to be the best club in DT Calgary. The dining options, squash, and massage are great. The big negative is that the facilities for female members are shared with the Bow Valley Square Fitness Centre. The me have their own dedicated facilities. Feels wrong.

Expérience positive: This gym is never crowded and has everything that you need. The squash courts almost always have availability. Love the fact that they have a laundry and towel service, as it takes away excuses to not go. Staff are excellent and the other members are friendly. Prices are a tad bit high, but the lack of crowds make it worth it. Free parking for members and guests in the morning and the afternoon during the week and all day on the weekend.
