Expérience fantastique: I’ve to 3 gyms in the Hat , Anytime , of course, is by far the best :)

Expérience négative: Beware!!! The online membership agreement is nonnegotiable and cannot be canceled. The Medicine Hat and Taber franchise owner, Mr. Brian Kyle, will continue to automatically charge biweekly gym fees to your credit card until the full year has ended provided you have given full 30 days written notice to cancel. Without notice the membership will auto renew for another full year and you will continue to be charged biweekly gym fees. If the online membership agreement stated this just as plainly as I have written, I would not have agreed to it. It’s a cash cow and these are unacceptable and unfair business practices. Mr. Brian Kyle, will not negotiate a penalty fee or allow you to pay a reduced membership fee to cancel early. Other Anytime Fitness franchises offer you the option to pay a penalty fee to cancel. I have filed this complaint with the BBB and I have notified Mr. Kyle and he is aware. I will also be contacting the Alberta Consumer Protections Office and The Anytime Fitness Corporate Office. YMCA for similar membership fees allows you to cancel or put your membership on pause without penalty. If you are a low income family I believe you can apply for subsidized membership.

Expérience négative: Do yourself favour and choose some other gym this one is open 24 hours but it’s not worth it poor poor management

Expérience négative: Do yourself a favour and go to GoodLife instead of this place. I canceled my membership I signed all the paperwork but they still didn’t close my tab and kept on adding money every month and I didn’t pay for it so they sent it to collection company and now I have dent on my credit all because of their fault.

Expérience positive: The place lacks air flow or ventilation throughout the gym compare to other anytime fitness I've been other than that it's great

Expérience positive: Perfect exercise spot for beginners. Clean and vast with lots of machines. They don’t have equipment for advanced training. They’re amazing massage and tanning machines for black card members. The price is 25 per month for black card and it allows to use any branch worldwide

Expérience fantastique: I haven’t dealt with Customer Service directly, but I am from Calgary and just hit this gym going through the town. Hate to tell you guys that it’s better than my hometown Gym. Good Place to Workout in Peace

Expérience fantastique: I love this gym. Just the right size for me, nice chill lighting and atmosphere, friendliest staff that I encountered when shopping for a gym. I bought a 1 year membership and I'm happy with my choice.

Expérience positive: In this gym you will find everything you need to achieve your fitness goals. It's a little small but that makes it also very quiet.

Expérience positive: It's my friend's gym. I get to go once and awhile. I have not been for a bit. Decent gym. Small. But it's not packed in the morning. The regulars are there. It's clean and simple. I get my workouts done. Usually no issue.

Expérience fantastique: Moved to the Hat in 2016 and remained a member here until buying a house and putting together a home gym. It is clean, not too busy (outside of peak hours) and the owner/staff are always friendly.

Expérience négative: I have called, left messages, emailed and tried to contact directly through their website several times over the last few months and have heard absolutely nothing other than an automated email stating that they would be in touch with me shortly. Very disappointing customer service. It is close to work so I was hoping to sign up with them, but it's been like pulling teeth to get in touch with anyone.

Expérience positive: Very small gym, can be cramped at times.

Expérience négative: Terrible and inflexible customer service and a clear business model of using long-term contracts to prey on failures of people not using their services. 20. year old daughter made the mistake of signing a contract. Ended up in the hospital, and could not use their service. I spoke to the manger twice, to plead for assistance on her behalf as the payments continued to hit her bank account and incur NSF fees, but to no avail. She was forced to close her bank account. She eventually paid it, and now a credit bureau claim from them for over $300 that they didn't bother to remove, while she's trying to buy her first car. Their entire business is based on making money from the percentage of failure of good intentions. BEWARE.

Expérience positive: No covid protocol Surprisingly for a Fitness facility. No masks to be seen.

Expérience fantastique: A handy location off the Trans Canada highway in Medicine Hat. A smaller facility but it still provides a great workout. A tanning booth is also available at this location.

Expérience négative: Customer service the worse I've ever had to deal with. Story time so my contract ended back in January off this year so I stop going . But jokes on me because they have still been charging and when I email or call them I get nothing back or my favorite when I call I get hung up on . Do not recommend this gym to any single individual u get better service from all wall then this scam business

Expérience négative: Gyms are shut down. They are changing money to there clients. Sent it m’y balanced to collection. I only requested for one month membership and there staff got me signed 3 months membership without my consultation. What a scam artist. They are liar. Wouldn’t recommend this gym.

Expérience positive: A very clean, friendly gym environment. The equipment is new and taken good care of. It's missing a squat rack/lifting platform but it's definitely does the job for the average Joe.
