If I could provide the pictures that my housekeeper sent me, I would, there was dog sh@t all over the carpet, and my poor housekeeper had to clean it up for them, and then shampoo the carpets. $50 was being nice, but now that I see this I think I will charge them another $50 just for trying to lie about the situation.

LOL... what a load of clas "A" BS.... first of all, the user name and the amount of previous reviews (ZERO), are the first clues that this is just a local coward trying to create trouble (most likely due to sad jealousy).... if this review was legit WHY NOT USE YOUR REAL NAME SO WE CAN ADDRESS THIS ACCUSATION LEGALLY AND PROPERLY? (After all I do have cameras and if you named the exact date and time that you witnessed minors being served it could be proven/disproven.... Secondly your "concerned citizen" approach is laughable, because if you are legitimately concerned about minors being served in my establishment you would file a legitimate complaint with AGLC or the RCMP.... you have done nothing but leave a ridiculously false accusation on a google review WHICH JUST PROVES THE LEVEL AT WHICH THIS REVEIW RESIDES; (PURE BS)..... Secondly, how would you know what reviews are valid and which ones are not? By attempting to legitimize other bogus reviews (that you have no personal knowledge of), only proves that you are simply verifying that this is just a sad attempt to get people to believe the other bogus reviews.... Any intelligent individual only needs to read all the reviews, and it becomes painfully obvious that the majority of the negative reviews are totally bogus.... but nice try though...LOL Also, FYI, the cook had a bad accident that caused him to be paralyzed from the waist down for 6 months, and it took him a year to learn to walk again.... AND HE WALKS FUNNY BECAUSE OF THAT ACCIDENT.... nice of you to try to use his misfortune to make the hotel look bad.... (total 'richard" move buds). As far as serving minors goes, it is not impossible for an employee to misjudge a persons age and serve someone who is underage alcohol (without ID'ing them)... IT HAPPENS BUT NEVER ON PURPOSE, and I can assure you that is not happening at my place EVER.... (because I have warned my employees that if they serve a minor, instead of ID'ing them, they are fired immediately without reconsideration, regardless of the circumstance.... Its a $5000 fine from AGLC for serving a minor, and only a total moron would risk a $5000 fine to make $2 profit on a drink.... (and I can assure you that morons do noy own hotels that are worth 3 million dollars +).... I find it laughable that you claim to KNOW that the person being served was a minor. Please tell me; Did you know them personally? How do you know they were a minor? (Unless you were an accomplice that willingly attempted to get alcohol served to a minor it makes ZERO SENSE that you would KNOW that the person was a minor (and simultaneously be against that happening in your presence).... And why didn't you say anything in the moment? (Instead of waiting until what, months later, to make a silly accusation on a google review)? Why not call the police immediately after witnessing the situation? I will tell you why.... because this review is as fake as they get. Do you see how obvious it is that your review is bogus, (now that I have pointed out what intelligent people would consider to be blatantly obvious)? I invite you to get the police involved, (and AGLC), and come forward and name the time and the place and the persons involved in this supposed serving of minors, then we will check video footage and prove that this is a fraud.... then guess who will be in trouble? I think I will leave it there, (as I am sure this review will never become anything more than what it is right now: (a sad joke). Oh, and thanks for your patronage...LOL

Dean Morrison, I find it appalling that you would return to our place of business yet a second time yelling and screaming at everyone (like a lunatic), simply because other individuals don't share your belief system or your masking requirements. I (personally), believe in respecting everyone else's freedom of choice, and I think that the only one who is UNINFORMED is you. I have staff that wear masks (because they choose to), and I respect their choice. I also have staff that have medical exemptions and can not wear masks, and I RESPECT their privacy and I respect their personal medical status... I also have employees that just flat out refuse to wear them because they do not want to, and GUESS WHAT? I respect their personal space and personal decisions as well..... So because of the fact that you have stooped so low as to LIE about our staff and say that NOBODY wears masks, and because that is the second time that you have insulted and attacked my staff, YOU ARE BANNED FROM MY BUSINESS PROPERTY PERMANENTLY. I have completed a legal BAN ORDER and handed it to the RCMP, and so if you set one foot on the property, you will get to experience what a citizens arrest for COMMERCIAL TRESPASS is like, (by yours truly). Take my advice Dean, and learn to respect your neighbors, and if you are scared of the boogeyman, then just stay at home and stay away from people that make you uncomfortable.... Business owners have a right to make their own policies, and individuals have a right to make their own personal choices.... and anyone who comes into my business attacking my staff will be banned for unacceptable conduct. That is what I call good business sense, and I just hope that you are not mentally ill enough to come barging in, attacking my staff again, because it will not end well for you.

This is a revenge plot review. What kind of person calls other guests that are staying at a hotel "local questionable characters"? I only have one "local character", who hangs out here (on a regular basis), and he is a 79 year old Vietnam Veteran named George (and he a man who everyone who works here deeply admires). The anonymous person who wrote this review did it purely to try to damage our business reputation..... Our rooms are all newly carpeted, with new furniture that was retrofitted from Chateau Lake Louise, last October, the carpets are shampooed every 3 months whether they need it or not, and there is no mold anywhere in this building, Alberta Health Services does regular inspections and we get excellent reports every time.. This person is making up lies to try to hurt a small business, in a small town, that already struggles to make ends meet on a daily basis.... It should be illegal for falsified reviews (like this), to make it to publication.... This guy just made up a bunch of false stories to hurt our business, and Im guessing that it was probably someone that we asked to leave the premises because they were acting unruly. Furthermore, we have never had a P Fletcher stay at our hotel, so the person who made this review has even made up an anonymous name, (in a sad effort to conceal his real identity), and undoubtedly would never have the courage to announce their true identity.

Well, I cant speak for what it was like in 2018, but after spending $250,000 on upgrades, renovations and improvements, and getting in a staff of reliable consistent cooks, I can say that you should come back and give it another try....

This was an era that came before I took over the place. We have an AWESOME TEAM now... and the business has been completely turned around..... Come back and check us out!
