Expérience négative: owner is great, bigger since the renovation but still a small gym. owners wife works there and she is a piece of work so be careful. expensive membership for what they offer.

Expérience positive: Lots of equipment and much more room than the old location. Everything I need to workout and more. With enough machines that I seldom need to wait. But... But this is really a gym for people who live nearby. There are the smallest lockers known to humanity. Not a lot of space for a gym bag. There's three washrooms (two with showers) and no changerooms. At busy times you're waiting to shower. (It's a shame they didn't opt to replace the giant showers with three or four smaller stall showers.) Furthermore, the showers don't have drains in the floor, so puddles accumulate on the floor. And there's no bodywash/ shampoo dispenser. BYO soap. If you can, change and shower at home.

Expérience fantastique: Clean gym open 24/7. Has 3 washrooms, 2 which have a shower. Extremely helpful staff. It is very well sized compared to the previous location. One of the nicest gyms in area and island.

Expérience positive: Anytime Fitness moved to the prior Peninsula Fitness location in Sidney, BC after a interior renovation. I like the new gym & equipment but did prefer the separate men's/women's change rooms layout & the many various individual TV screens of Peninsula Fitness.

Expérience positive: Really nice little gym. The only issue is that there’s only 1 shower and the stretching area is a bit small and awkward. I love coming here though.

Expérience positive: Nice small location. Limited equipment due to location size but well cared for. I am there during the early morning and equipment is always clean even during non staffed hours. Bring a hoodie, there are several fans directly above equipment.

Expérience positive: Super clean but short on equipment. Coming from other Anytime Fitnessess I really miss the machines like hip abduction and hip thrust. I also feel that some of the equipment is too close together, but again, I come from other branches with much more room lots of different machines.

Expérience fantastique: Great little gym, it is rather small, but you have everything that you may require. There is a variety fo machines and weights to choose from. Gets busy around 6pm, but other than that great place to workout.

A slightly small gym so they are missing a small amount of machines that I would like to have, but overall they have a very good selection.

Expérience fantastique: If you aren't young and gorgeous and don't care to posture this place is for your workout. If you are young and gorgeous then the facility in central Saanich or the local community center is for you.

Expérience positive: Great gym but they only have one shower and one washroom. I wish they could add more! It's extra challenging if even the only one shower is closed for repair!

Expérience négative: Called a friend of mine fat and said they don’t cater to homeless people. I will note he is not homeless and was willing to pay for someone to help. It takes a lot of courage to go into a gym and flat out ask for help. It is rude to treat any human being this way.

Expérience fantastique: A extra clean gym with lots of windows to people watch while working out. A well balanced range of equipment. Not intimidating at all for the new comer. Seniors usually workout around 10 am when it becomes a bit of a social hour. Lots of nice people. Highly recommended

Expérience fantastique: I have been to other anytime fitness' and I personally think this gym is one of the best. The facility is always clean and they have all full equipment provided. Staff members are wonderful, especially Crystal, who is very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Expérience négative: Arrived to a note on the door saying “back at 11:35am” hung around for 20 minutes and nobody came out to help as my door fob wasn’t working. I tried calling the number on the door several times with no answer. Hard to give it more than one star considering I cant even get in the building. So frustrating.

Expérience positive: Kudos to the staffs and owners, very friendly and accommodating. Well located and clean place, I highly recommend to sign up and use this facility. Having access 24/7 days a week, is great and having shower facilities is a bonus. For what you are getting is at a good price. Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: I've been going to fitness facilities for decades, across half the country. I have never come across a staff that is so constantly conscientious and genuinely caring. The facility takes great care to comply with the strictest Covid-19 protocols. I had a recent fitness evaluation with the consultant, Frankee. Frankee was knowledgeable, professional and took the time to come to a comprehensive understanding of my current physical situation. She offered specific stretches and exercises that addressed my concerns, and her explanations demonstrated why, though their benefits might not have been intuitive, these exercises were going to address my weaknesses and help me achieve my goals sooner. If you are looking for a fitness facility in the Sidney area, I'd recommend this one.

The pandemic was a hit to them as they’d only been open a few months but they’ve done a fabulous job at keeping the gym clean, easy to use and safe for those of us who are still able to go. I’m a nurse and worked the pandemic in ICU, and I cannot explain how vital having the ability to go to the gym is and was for me during the most difficult periods. Never have I felt worried about picking anything up at the gym. Thank you again, AF Sidney!

I have had multiple memberships in my lifetime and by far this gym is the best. Initially when my husband and I went to check it out we left feeling very positive and decided very quickly we would join. The customer service is exceptional. The owners are very personable and have a positive attitude. Moving forward, it's been three months now for us and we love it! Everyone attending are always considerate, respecting social distancing, now wearing masks which as we all know needs to be done. It's the law! We are all in this together and I know for me keeping people safe is a priority. Thank you so much Arne, Diana and your amazing staff for your due diligence! That offensive comment was TOTALLY uncalled for and nasty!!!! Gratefully, Melinda

Expérience fantastique: I have absolutely loved this gym. My personal trainer Lisa has been hands down the most amazing coach and motivator. All the staff have been so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this gym. I like that its not to big and I don't find it overwhelming!

Expérience négative: Terrible business practices...learn to communicate! Clearly doesn't know what customer service is. You typically communicate to the client if you freeze their account, not let them show up to the gym at 3am in the morning which you are aware that I go at that time, only to find out that I am locked out. I wasn't hostile until he started going at me and wouldn't apologize. Terrible ownership and management. WORST anytime and I have been to a-lot. Good luck!!!

Expérience fantastique: Great facilities with a wide range of equipment for a small gym. The owners, Arnie and Diane, are wonderful and the staff, Frankee and Lisa, are awesome!!! The other members are friendly and welcoming. Anytime has been a welcome addition to Sidney and I expect to be working out there for years to come!!

Expérience fantastique: This gym is fantastic. The owners did a great job pulling in great machinery and it is the best Sidney has to offer! As a long distance runner I loved that they had an Assault Treadmill as well! Better than all that is that the staff were always extremely friendly and welcoming! 6/5 stars

Expérience fantastique: I'm really impressed with this place and the measurements they have taken to allow us to keep working out, and I have noticed positive results from wearing a mask while working out, my lung strength and efficiency is greatly increasing. This place is great as a former personal trainer myself I am very happy with the wide variety of machines allowing me to isolate every single muscle, witch is hard to come by in a gym

Expérience fantastique: I have to start off by saying the staff and owners of Anytime Fitness Sidney makes the gym so wonderful. From someone who is new to a gym without a lot of experience with the equipment, weights or routines, they are always willing to answer your questions, support and encourage you. I know I will reach my goals and I know I will do it with the support of the team. Being able to go to the gym anytime of the day or night works well with my schedule.
