Expérience fantastique: We love Gym O Gym! Awesome programs and the teachers/instructors lead with love, warmth, fun and have a lot of knowledge. The facilities are clean, baby friendly and there is so much for kids to explore! Would highly recommend!

Expérience fantastique: My son went to the “I’m a big kid” program to get ready for JK. Miss H and her staff put a lot of effort into instilling good habits and following rules while keeping the programming fun and engaging. His behaviour became noticeably better at home after joining the program. He’s had a very seamless transition to JK thus far and I give all the credit to Miss H and her staff for preparing him! For anyone who has a child not going to daycare, and want to prepare for JK, I would highly recommend this program!

Expérience fantastique: Let me start by saying, I could NOT be any happier with the decision of choosing GymOGym for my child. As most kids have a hard time transitioning into Preschool / daycare, my child was definitely one of them. They all gave/showed my son love and compassion as any parent would want. My son has now entered Junior Kindergarten and was well prepped and ready for the transition.

Expérience négative: I’ve signed up my kid for their March Break Camp a few years ago as the Friday’s theme is Pokemon. My kid loves Pokemon. Either they were understaffed or they have over the maximum number of participants of the camp… the pick up process was a chaos. We waited more than 45mins to pick up our kid on the first day… and the following days were better but still need to wait for at least 20mins for picking up my child. On the last day of the camp, my kid thought the camp is not over as there’s nothing related to Pokemon… I also noticed that my kid wasn’t happy during the camp… A month after the camp ended, I asked my kid if I should sign up their Summer Camp, and my kid said, “No, I don’t want to go to Gym-O-Gym again.” Note that my kid was age 4, and he was very clear that he doesn’t like the place at all…

Expérience fantastique: Great place in Markham to bring your little kids to! The indoor gym is clean, and the staff are all very friendly to ensure the kids are all having a great time. We went for their annual Easter egg hunt, and my son and his cousin and friends all had a blast, bouncing around, doing the hunt, eating snacks, exercising at the jungle gym, and building Lego as well. Thanks again for your efforts to tailor to what makes kids happy!

Expérience fantastique: This place is so amazing! I loved this place and would recommend if you have a child especially toddlers. They also have grand prizes for you and fruit, chips, and drinks for you to enjoy. The gym o gym also has legos which my son loved to build and play! My son enjoyed the obstacle very much and this experience a lot! We hope to come back, and have more fun!

Expérience fantastique: We did the Lunar New Year photoshoot with gym o gym and we are very happy with the pictures. Ms. H and the photographer took a lot of time to get my daughter all warm up. She had a lot of fun during the photoshoot. She even get to play in their gym. They also have a lot of different programs, camps and events. My daughter used to go to gym o gym when she was a toddler for their half day program. My daughter loved it and it was a great place to start for a drop off program before school. Highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: We've had the pleasure of attending Gym-O-Gym's Mommy and Me Cantonese programming for two terms and are returning for the third season! My toddler son looks forward to seeing Ms. H every Sunday to participate in Cantonese circle and play time. She is warm, encouraging and supportive and adapts programming to promote their participation. I truly appreciate Ms. H's functional and play-based approach in creating a fun learning environment that we can then carry over into our home environment! It has been fun for us to continue to use Cantonese in our house hold.

Expérience fantastique: We did our Christmas photos with Helen this year and we absolutely loved how they turned out. Helen was extremely professional and very much accomodating. She went out of her way to make sure that our family got some great shots and that we were happy with the final product. Thank you, Helen and team :)

Expérience fantastique: My family and kids had an excellent experience here for the Christmas Mini Photo sessions this year in November 2024. There was 2 backgrounds and the staff were great with my 2 young kids. I would highly recommend everyone to come here for Christmas Mini photo sessions with a professional photograthers. Package pricing is reasonable at $100-200 depending on how many edited photos you want. I would come back here again and my kids enjoyed playing with the mini indoor play ground :)

Expérience fantastique: Our children attended Gym-O-Gym's pre-school age program and loved it. As expected, there is always an adjustment period when a child begins daycare for the first time. Miss H, Miss Christina and the staff at Gym-O-Gym were so nurturing and attentive to our kids, which helped them adapt to the new school routine very easily. I especially appreciated the open communication and many updates I received about my child throughout the day. Miss H was accommodating to my very specific requests; she took the time to understand and address particular needs for my children such as severe food allergies and eczema that required special treatment daily. The curriculum and programs were engaging, educational and fun. My daughters came home presenting new skills and vocabulary every day.

Expérience fantastique: We love the Cantonese programming! Thank you so much for the caring environment and excellent instruction. To give you an idea of what this place means to my baby, we recently went on our first walk around the block and she pulled me all the way to Gym o Gym front door just to see it. I work in a few schools and older kids tell me they love going there too. One 8 year old student told me math is fun at gym o gym, not like the other math tutoring place they go to

Expérience fantastique: My daughter loves it here. Ms H is very flexible and accommodating. Their programs definitely were an important part of our daughter growth. She went from going with grandma to going by herself (barely a tear).

Expérience négative: First time attending thier EASTER EGG HUNT upon arriving my kids were both extremely excited as they haven't attended anything post COVID-19...OUTSIDE events...I must say...this was by far the *Worst EXPERIENCE EVER*. I am asking for my money back, ACTUALLY I WANT MY MONEY BACK PLEASE!! Reasons, definitely wasn't what we expected...nor what they ACTUALLY ADVERTISED...OR TOLD US OVER THE PHONE WHAT WE WERE GETTING NEVER HAPPENED... MY CHILD GOT PUSHED DOWN BY OTHER BIG KIDS AND WAS CRYING...no staffed helped..during the Easter hunt..if you would even call it that.. place was to cramped ... THE EASTER Eggs was filled with tiny cut up stickers, NO TREATS my kids was looking forward to eggs and treats they were sadly disappointed and kept looking for a treat from inside the eggs i had to tell them it didnt look like it had anything in them.. few emptied eggs they received..then some Only to find cut up small tiny stickers that's not even worth $5...they didnt even stick...and some sort of little nick nacks that they call LEGO if it was that and a few glow sticks.... this definitely wasnt a GLOW IN THE DARK EVENT AT ALL..DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE WE PAID! $30.00 PER KID!! Kids got 1 hot juice, 1 slice of pizza each...Adults wasn't even offered anything to eat or drink.. even tho we had to pay for ourselves extra money AND WAS TOLD WE WOULD SHARE PIZZA DINNER... talk up up sale...Then NO EXTRA / TREATS...NOT EVEN TREATS OR CHOCOLATE as advertised ...NO BUNNY SHOWED UP...and we had to pay for our own cotton candy...as a parent I was pretty irritated and upset left very sad and kids confused...not at all worth the money. Not even any goodie bags to take home and we couldnt even keep the easter eggs that the kids got when THEY HUNTED. Please can I get back MY MONEY?

Expérience fantastique: Our kid had been here since toddler and Ms. H is simply fabulous. My LO had gain so much more independence ever since she was there. Ms. H is really patient and would offer material tailored to the kids' individual needs. The communications with parents are beyond awesome. She always had so much fun, not just at camps, but more so, at the party and events. I would highly recommend GymOGym!! Keep up the good work and thanks!

Expérience fantastique: Allow me to be clear. We are not members of the gym however, we've had occasion to visit several times, over the years, for the Easter Egg Hunt and Gingerbread House building. I've read all previous mixed reviews to this place and I will say this. The owner is a delightful lady who puts on a stellar Egg Hunt. She engaged all of the participants from beginning to end and we will be back next year.

Expérience fantastique: Both of my 9 years and 5 years girls go to Gym O Gym summer camp this year. This is a STEAM camp with Cantonese immersion. The camp supervisor Ms. H makes everything very organized from daily activities to drop off/ pick up to COVID safety. My kids bring me hand made toys, art/crafts, Cantonese songs and importantly SIMLE every evening! They are having lots of fun there! I highly recommend Gym O Gym summer camp to parents in Markham/Unionville area.

Expérience fantastique: Both my children have attended their summer camp program last year and currently are attending this year. During the pandemic, as parents we didn't know what to expect. But the staff at Gym o Gym really puts my worries to rest as I see how serious they take our children's and their team's safety in consideration. As I see how their protocols are, I feels that children are safe and also having lots of fun. I love the fact that the children don't need to share stationary during pandemic and the children loves to tell me what they did and what they have in their Treasure box. They do a lot of building projects that engages the children and they also learn how to read and write Chinese. I will definitely come back next summer!

Expérience fantastique: I am surprised about how much Cantonese my kids can learn over the 3 weeks period so far. My 5 years old can come home and tell me the lunch menu all in Cantonese and my 7 years old can carry a short conversation with me in Cantonese. My older talks about her experiment and project everyday coming back from home. I also like how their supervisor gives a quick feedback about how my kids do everyday at camp. Truely amazing program and staff. Highly recommended.

Expérience fantastique: My kids had an amazing time during their 4 weeks of virtual summer camp. It was extremely well run, organized and engaging. The bonus was that it was taught in Cantonese. Class participation was great because of Ms. H's teaching style. She's a born natural when it comes to teaching. She made science and engineering fun for my 5 and 7YO. I highly recommend the summer camp.

Expérience fantastique: We have hosted our son's birthday party for two years at the gym o gym now. Mrs. H. and her team are wonderfully creative, energetic and organized leaders that make the party planning experience so easy! The activities are always engaging and the kids never want to leave. One year, we had to extend the party by half an hour because the guests did not want to go. Our guests leave with big smiles and compliments like, "This place is such a gem!" If I could leave one piece of constructive feedback, it would be to allow a bit more time for setting up the food and decorations beforehand. Otherwise, my son and his friends had a blast!

Expérience positive: Took my kids to the annual Easter egg hunt here. They loved the venue and the hunt. Be sure to book months in advance for this event as it fills up very quickly. I saw several walk-ins who were interested get turned away. The kids had some time to enjoy the indoor gym facilities before the pizza meal and egg hunt event. There were plenty of staff on hand to help the children on some of the more challenging activities. The Easter egg hunt was well-run. Plastic egg shells containing stickers were scattered throughout the room, and outside, and the kids (separated by age) collected as many as they could. One of the eggs contains a special prize. My kids loved the event and I was satisfied with the overall cleanliness of the facilities and service provided by the staff.

Expérience négative: We took our son to their annual Easter egg hunt and it was a HORRIBLE experience. They sold too many tickets for our time slot and the small place was packed. The price they charged was outrageous. My son tried to play but with so many people he couldn’t really try any of the play equipment. The website outlined a lot of things that did not occur. It said there were games and crafts but never saw any of that, it said when they did the Easter egg hunt they could trade their eggs for chocolate, didn’t happen either. Some of the eggs had stickers inside but half of my sons eggs were empty then after he had to give all the eggs back. If I paid $17.00 you would think the children could keep some of the eggs. There was a visit from the Easter bunny that lasted about 10 mins, and people were pushing to get a photo that my son didn’t get to see him. Some people got in without a ticket and were very dishonest so when it came time for food it was a big disaster. My son got a tiny slice of pizza while others were given big slices. Another child knocked my sons pizza on the floor as all the children were crammed into a very small area to eat. When my husband asked for another we were told no. When it came time for the egg hunt some small children started even though the staff asked them to stop, but did not listen, then the children’s parents were grabbing all the eggs not their children. We could not wait to get out of there. As for the “tons of other goodies” being handed out we never saw any of that. Will NEVER return to this egg hunt. We would suggest you find another to go to.

Expérience fantastique: We went for the Easter event and it was well really well organized. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The play area was great for kids and they had the bouncy thing for the kids the jump around. The egg hunt was fun, there were little stickers inside each egg and whoever found the mini egg won a prize so at least all the kids left with something. Plus the kids got their choice of a small gift (stickers, key chains, etc) when leaving. I'd recommend this for their events and I'd certainly return for another and their classes.

Expérience négative: Easter egg hunting is such a rip off. My kid did not have fun at all! Their eggs are with a tiny piece of sticker in it only. So cheap! Their treasure hunting price is those dollar store toys. But they charge over $10 for each kid.
