Expérience fantastique: This place is definitely the best gym I've ever been to. Great atmosphere, the owner is incredibly nice and helpful, and the machines they have are great! They have an excellent selection of machines all solidly built and kept in great shape! I would definitely recommend visiting here for anyone looking to get some real strength workouts in!

Expérience fantastique: Awesome gym. It's quiet enough where I can do my workout without waiting for most of my equipment. Equipment is simple and straightforward. The owner also keeps the gym really clean. For those wondering the gym has a "yoga" room / room for boxing / other activities. As of August 2024 the price was about 550-580 tax included. They do have student and "couple" discount

Expérience fantastique: My husband and I have been members for 2 years now. Best gym ever. They have the most amazing assortment of equipment for just about any type of workout. I do mostly aerobic and toning. My husband does very heavy weights. The machines and free weights are not the newest, but incredibly well maintained. Best of all, there is so much, there is almost never a wait time…which is unheard of elsewhere (I know, I’ve belonged to many gyms). Staff is super friendly and the the facility is clean. Whether you are 20 or 90, a body builder or just want to get in a modest workout…it has something for everyone!

Expérience fantastique: Je reviens juste d’un premier entraînement incroyable dans cette salle. L’espace est super grand et aéré. On respire bien. Les clients étaient tous vraiment gentils. L’équipement est super (il y a même des machines à air comprimé!) et je garde le meilleur pour la fin, Laurier, le gérant qui fait tout pour qu’on se sente bien et répond à toutes les questions avec énormément de patience et de générosité. Je ne savais pas qu’on pouvait avoir une aussi belle expérience en allant dans un gym! Un must! Merci encore infiniment pour cet accueil.

The owner gave me a nice tour of the gym my first time there & didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions. This is the place to workout if you’re looking for something more quiet & a nicer environment to really focus on your workouts without too much distractions. Thank you for this nice experience!

Expérience fantastique: I have worked out at a lot of facilities in my life and this one is the best. The space is thoughtfully spread out. Equipment is always functional. The “crowd” at the gym has overall the best gym etiquette that I have ever seen. All of these positive things are solely due to the work and effort that Laurier, Kelly & the rest of the staff put in. This has always been the case but has been even more evident since the pandemic started. The facilities are always clean and that is due to the above and beyond efforts. Highly recommend for whatever your fitness interest is

Expérience fantastique: I honestly can’t recommend this gym enough. The owners and employees are extremely friendly and welcome you with a smile every time you come in. While the gym is small, it has everything you need and it’s always well maintained. While some of the equipment is old, you can tell it’s been taken care of really well. I think my favourite part about the gym has to be the atmosphere. Everyone is extremely friendly but they’re serious about their workouts and aren’t there to socialize like many other gyms. If you’re looking to join a gym or for a new one, definitely take a look at New Body Dimensions. For $20 biweekly, you really can’t go wrong.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym with wonderful owners. They seem to be working every hour it's open and really care about the gym and your experience. Lots of cardio equipment on the mezzanine overlooking the weight area. DBs go up high enough (140lbs) for everyone and 2 sets of all the lower DBs up to 50lbs. Wide variety of weight machines, cable equipment and free weights.

It's always been my favourite gym. I love the high ceilings and all the equipment. The trainer there Sherri is fantastic.

Expérience positive: A good gym, adequate for new year's resolutions. Lots of machines and a squat rack + bench. The prices are slightly high for the scale and they still try to push you annual membership.

Expérience fantastique: Good spot if you're looking for a cheap gym with all the amenities. Has showers, a lot of machines for bodybuilding, one power rack and one Smith machine (they are more geared towards bodybuilders). Laurent, the owner, is a stand up guy that is super friendly and knowledgeable who is more than happy to show you how to work a machine properly.

Expérience positive: This is a pretty good gym, especially for the price (I pay $20 bi-weekly, ongoing). It's a nice middle ground between the gigantic chain gyms and the smaller boutique gyms. Noteworthy pros: Fellow gym-goers are respectful and generally focus on their workouts. Usually not too crowded. Dumbbells up to 140 pounds if that's your sort of thing. Efficiently laid out. Owners are great, staff are friendly. Considerations: Only one power rack. If you care about your gym looking sleek and modern, this is probably not your gym. It's also the only gym I've been to where they don't have any tissues, so take note, my fellow allergy-ridden/cold-infested/bad-sinused people.

Expérience fantastique: This is seriously the best gym in Ottawa. I spent weeks trying to find the best (and affordable) gym and was happy to find NBD. Compared to other gyms I've been to in the city, NBD ranks as the highest. The gym is very well maintained, there are plenty of machines/weight racks, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Don't be fooled by other big name gyms where you'll pay a fortune and use only a fraction of what they offer. NBD may not be as shiny or new as others, but it's perfect for anyone who wants to get fit and enjoy it at the same time. You won't feel rushed, others will treat you with respect, and you'll be encouraged! NBD helped me and I can't recommend it enough. Don't wait and go sign up, you won't regret it!
