Expérience fantastique: Great community, the gym manger does an excellent job at running the place and is always available to help you out or have a good conversation.

Expérience positive: Lots of variety in equipment. Gym culture is pretty disruptive though. Staff and friends are loud and distracting while other patrons are trying to work out. Very disrespectful, more time spent chatting and holding equipment than working out. Lots of swearing. The drive to okotoks might be worth it.

Expérience fantastique: Every location is different in some way and I really enjoyed my visit to the High River location. I love that there are so many locations and that I can take my gear with me on a motorcycle trip and not miss a workout.

Expérience négative: So I visit high River to give the locals business while I am there. I figured I better work out as I will be missing out on my work out if I don’t. So I visited anytime fitness and they would absolutely not allow me to use the gym even for an hour unless I signed up with a membership for a month. Honestly, I’m sure there’s better gyms out there so I will support the local gym as I walk another kilometres so !

Expérience fantastique: The High River location is by far one of the nicest I've been to. It is always very clean and the equipment is well maintained. Talise has done an incredible job of being patient and helpful even though she's had to deal with a constant onslaught of provincial rule changes and members taking their frustrations concerning these restrictions out on her. I would definitely recommend this location to not just people from High River, but the surrounding areas as well.

Good management, kept very clean, friendly members, 24/7 access, good selection equipment and amenities (they even got the massage chair going!). Never had a problem with fees, even during lockdown. Nothing but good to say about this location.

Expérience négative: I highly discourage anyone (especially students) from entering into a month to month contract at this gym. In total, I have paid over $230 for 2 months and 4 days of membership - overcharged $75 for 3 months and of course there is “nothing they can do”. The facility is amazing, but that is a scam. Definitely recommend the 6 months in full so you won’t have to deal with this!

Expérience négative: Get to the gym at 6am to find your key fob ($65 charge) doesn't work, no members will let you in because if they do they're fined $250, and no staff member will be in until noon

Expérience négative: Signed up for a 6 month student membership for my son (16 ) was overcharged as an adult continually for the entire 6 months after several times trying to rectify we cancelled 5 months in (in writing ) to not auto renew reminder email 5 1/2 months however kept charging went there cancel again still charging and every month continues to be a battle (13 months now)they just keep taking money??? So unethical steer clear of this place for sure

Expérience négative: Probably a good gym facilities wise? I contacted the club for the free 7 trial. Manager set a time to meet for 6pm. I ended up waiting 40 mins just to be dismissed because i didnt want to sign up for a membership. Pressured from the beginning to get a membership. Wasted my time. Very money oriented so be careful with contracts.

Expérience négative: I have never been to a gym that I disliked so much. The staff are rude and condescending. I spoke to them in regards to members video chatting and taping themselves and others (including me) in the gym and they said that cannot control what other people do. According to our gym contract when we sign up, photos and videos are not allowed. It is very uncomfortable to attend a gym that staff are rude/never there and other members (some not all) are not respectful. I tried to cancel my membership and they are refusing to let me due to my contract. I understand contracts are required however there should be more options available for how uncomfortable I feel attending this gym.

Expérience négative: So being a member for 2 years before my injury and recently signing Back up, was very disappointed when I stopped in for a quick workout at this location. As I have not gone through my intitial 30 days, my fob did not scan me in. With my experience this isn’t a problem during staff hours as you would just let the person know and your good to go. Not the case here. Was completely shut down and told that I have to complete the 30 days before I would have any access to any other gym. As I live in High River and work in the city, it puts a bad taste in my mouth about this location and it’s in supportive staff.

Expérience positive: This place is friendly but just okay. It is quite pricey per month, it needs more classes and at different times (just about all classes late at night) which has impacted my visits because I have kids to put to bed.
