Expérience fantastique: There’s so many things to do in the Rec Center! They host events, birthday parties, or you could just go there to have some free time. There’s swimming, volleyball, badminton or tennis practice, a hockey rink, and even a gym! A great place to go in your free time.

Pool, Hot tub, Squash Court, Walking Track, Punching bag, Curling Rink, Ice Arena, Rock Climbing, Jungle Gym, Fitness Gym and even a Cafe. Pool looks small, but any place with a Hot tub is worth going!

Expérience positive: There is a gym, a pool and hot tub, and hockey arena they turned into a gym for covid. Super friendly people, limit of 10 people in the gym, so go on time or wait for an hour. Over all lively feeling and very clean!

Expérience négative: Over priced for the gym big time for what you have to go thru to actually get to work out such as try and get there before their 10 person limit applys while trying to make their two hour time limits and deal with snobby staff Steve the manager.....you can do better

Expérience négative: Their after hours pass is more like a practical joke than a way to work out when the facility is closed. Different times for weekdays, weekends, stats, and seasons. This all while the facility is unmanned (you use a scan card system) most people who keep this facility functioning work shift work and have very few hours in a day to work out. The backwards and outrageously priced facility is a direct reflection on how the town treats themselves and their residence permanent or not.

Expérience fantastique: We visited the center to see if there was a blood pressure machine to use. The young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She told us we could find a machine at the library and checked to see if they were open as it was Sunday of a long weekend. She left us with a very fine impression of herself and her town.

Expérience négative: Unfortunately have lived away from Chetwynd for the last fifteen years and upon my return have been very disappointed with the gym wages and hours. Wages are ridiculously over priced, and of course they want more money to get an after hours pass because the regular gym hours suck!! Sounds like a money grab for people trying to be healthy! Which is all wrong in my eyes! After being a member of Planet Fitness for so long and paying 23bucks a month with unlimited tanning salon use, massage chairs, body enhancement machines, and open 24hours guess it's hard to go from that to this! Not to mention no music??? What's up with that? You are a gym!!!! All equipment is old and out dated in a very small tiny room! Praying for a bigger gym or franchise to come along to Chetwynd I'd be first to join!

Expérience fantastique: Excellent facility offering a wide range of activities- fitness center, ice arena, climbing wall, food, etc. The facility is kept well and it also offers an after hours pass for those who prefer to work out early in the morning/late at night!

Expérience négative: Overall staff are very unprofessional. This is a small town pool ran by friends and family and there's a lot of nepotism and cronyism going on. The facility itself is excellent. The women's staff seem to have a lot of issues.

Expérience négative: would never go again, uneducated staff, mixed with an extremely small gym full of poorly maintained and dated equipment that follows in the steps of other 'fake' gyms that consider any noise made when exercising warrants being asked to be quiet and being told you can't do exercises because they make 'excessive' noise . If you want a good workout here you might as well pick up rocks outside as that will yield better results then attempting to workout in this hole, however if you are looking to workout in a library look no further.

Expérience positive: The climbing wall is small, but its great to see. Went bouldering here since I didn't have anyone to belay me. Looking forward to coming back to climb.
