Expérience fantastique: I'm the owner and head coach of Swell Bros. Fitness and personal training, and I choose Chatham's Fit4Less location as my personal gym. There is a wide variety of equipment and machines to use. People of all different ethnicities and ages come here and it's a very non competitive, friendly environment. In the gym you will find all different levels of lifters from people who are just starting their fitness journey as well as more experienced and advanced level lifters. The pricing isn't bad and they make it affordable for everyone to work out. The general gym area has all of the equipment youd need to get in shape or build muscle. They also have a limited access room available to premium membership holders, As well as a massage table area which really helps if you're sore after a workout. They have a locker area to store your belongings while you work out with multiple changing rooms. They have a key card system which makes the gym safer and keeps non-members out, but the sign up process was care free and fast. I was able to start working out the same day I signed up.

Expérience fantastique: Like the gym and equipment I have not seen any staff once but that doesn't really bother me I like being left alone

Expérience négative: Came to the gym for a tan and massage out of town for work. Says staffed till 10 pm I'm at the the gym at 830 no attendendant onsite. What am I paying for if I can't I can't get to use the amenities that are in the membership?

Expérience fantastique: Love this gym been going for months now it's close to me it's a clean environment with everything you need also open 24/7 which is a huge bonus

Expérience positive: Enjoy the space and the gym is awesome place to get to work

Expérience négative: Staff don’t care! They don’t greet me and they always have a miserable look on their faces which is very off-putting.

Expérience positive: Decent place to workout BUT that extra private room smells extremely bad. Maybe open the emergency door every now and then to air out that sweat/body odour smell, or perhaps air fresheners.

Expérience négative: Fungus in the water fountain yet they still charge cleaning fees. Gyms packed with highschoolers between 230-1130pm pretty annoying when even the more private room that costs extra is packed.

Expérience négative: Have staffed hours changed?? Does any staff actually work here? Every time I’ve been to this location there is no staff. I cannot use my membership to the fullest without staff being present for the tanning beds and massage chairs. What a waste of money. Do better Fit4Less. This place is falling apart.

Expérience négative: When I asked about short passes I quickly dismissed so the staff could continue their conversation. I was made to feel like a task not a possible customer. The staff were not overly rude but not engaged with me as a possible customer.

Expérience positive: I drove from London just to use the Sauna and it was closed :/

Expérience positive: Great selection of equipment, how ever it is way too crowded. I would suggest putting some machines in the black card room

Then this guy (I don't think he works there) talked down on me, like in military tone, as to what to do and which way to push the door. I suggest someone more tactful should handle that. Doesn't seem professional... This was last night, March 3rd, 7:15 or 7:30 pm. I'm gonna check out Performance 360

Expérience négative: Tv's, and most machines are always broken. The machines are from the 90's they never get fixed or replaced. Do not use this gym.

Expérience positive: It is quarter after 8 on say. Snd we are waiting outside for the foor to open. Not good!!

Expérience positive: It's a pretty clean gym and most of the equipment is reasonably new and in good shape. Gym attendants should keep an eye out for members who don't clean up weights and leave a mess, it's pretty frustrating.

Expérience fantastique: Nice gym. Reminded me of my favorite Toronto gym. Real decent gym with all stuff I need.

Expérience positive: For Chatham Downtown Centre - Fit For Less they don't have weight scale. staff did not pay more attention to club like empty liquid bottles, empty hand sanitizers. otherwise good place for workout.

Expérience négative: so trying to reach someone by phone never works. Like answer the phone, we are going through covid right now and communication is a must. if 24 hrs is not available I would like to suspend my account. just read about appointments, no thanks, that does not work for the busy family dad that is limited to when a workout can be fit in.

Expérience positive: I've been on a weight loss journey and this place is awesome and has gotten me to where I'm at. Amazing results, great place. The machine could use a little prevented maintenance but all in all good job. I've see negetive reviews on here....lmao.... As a gym in Chatham it is a great gym. If you can't get in shape or find a good workout here ....maybe you should take advantage of the training offered ? Just saying

Expérience fantastique: I accessed the club via my black card while visiting relatives in Chatham. My home club is St Thomas. Very well equipped gym and excellent clean change areas. Lockers in open area are very accessible and abundant( wish St Thomas Fit4less had them). I highly recommend this gym and will attend anytime I am visiting Chatham.

Expérience fantastique: Only downside is the machines seem to be broke quite often, besides that it's the best place to be away from home, Chathams best gym!

Expérience positive: Been working out here for almost 3 months now and it's been amazing! The ppl here are friendly and helpful, the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is it tends to take them a long time to fix machines.

Expérience négative: Great price,. Great staff but really lacks when machines break down. One machine has been broken down for over 10 weeks. Also they reduced the weights to 75 lbs. Club cleanliness particularly in the shower and restroom areas leaves something to be desired. With a few changes this place would get 5 stars easily.

Expérience fantastique: Always super clean, love the newer machines - staff are friendly it's the perfect 'get in - work out' place if you're looking for no fluff, clean environment.

Expérience positive: The price of the membership is a very good selling point for switching gyms or just simply joining a new gym. There are two studios to work out in both with cardio equipment workout machines and free weights which is nice if one studio is too busy you can work out in the other one. There is a massage bed which is very relaxing and you simply have to ask the staff at the front desk to turn it on and set the length of time you would like. The gym also has a lay down and stand up tanning bed which is decent and just like the massage bed you simply have to ask the staff to turn the tanning bed and set the desired length of time. There are yoga and stretching mats with medicine balls too. The atmosphere is chill with modern upbeat music playing throughout with a series of tv screens over a row of tread mills as well. It is located on the top floor of the real Canadian superstore and is only open during the real Canadian superstore hours. The locker rooms have a lot of lockers and are very spacious but do not have showers and only have one toilet but that has not been an issue any time I have worked out there. I would recommend this gym to anyone at any fitness level.

Expérience positive: Perfect for the basics! Quiet, usually no wait for the equipment. Love the free tanning feature and ability to share membership with friends and family with the unlimited card! Has free weights as well as the circuit machines. There is a little bit of everything here. Sure to find what you need for a great workout at a budget conscious price!

Expérience positive: Decent facility with all of the essential equipment. The lack of shower facilities reduces the overall rating. Would suggest including shower facilities to both make this a better place for exercising.

Expérience positive: Affordable and clean. A small gym perfect for someone who just wants the basics.

Expérience négative: What kind of F'd up "gym" does not have a squat rack or deadlift area. Most BS gym I've ever been to. Waste of time for anyone who actually wants to lift weights.
