I haven't been to a spin class in the few years so I thought I would sign up for one of their free intro beginners classes. It was great! The instructor was friendly and approachable and the environment was welcoming and fun. This is not your too cool for school studio, it's fun and friendly and welcoming and the class was great. Good music and a fun vibe. I can't wait to do more classes here.

Expérience fantastique: If you are looking for a spin studio this is the place! If you are not sure about spinning, this is the place. If you love good music, great teachers and ultra friendly staff, this is the place!! The air circulation system is THE best so if you are still worried about Covid this is a safe place to be. The instructors will challenge you in an encouraging manner, but you can also work at your own pace as the studio is totally darkened, so if you are struggling its okay to dial it back a bit, but only a bit as the goal is to work your heart, lungs and muscles!! Check it out, you wont be sorry.

I loved it even before they added the roof and misting system but those have been amazing additions! I’ve been comfortable riding in rain and even intense heat. I love the supportive atmosphere and every instructor I’ve taken class with has been super motivating.

Great ventilation, covered, the worlds biggest fan and a misting system for when things get really hot! I thoroughly recommend classes taken by Bruce - clear instruction, challenging rides, a great upbeat soundtrack, and he has the most motivating voice!

Expérience fantastique: Love the early morning workouts at Torq. The instructors are very high energy, playlists are great, and the outdoor set up is very well organized, spaced out, and feels completely safe. I'm a complete sweaty mess at the end of each class.

Expérience fantastique: For me personally, TORQ Ride is a very special place. It's not just a great spinning studio known for its cleanliness with top of the line Stages Cycling (SC3) bikes, an amazing sound system and excellent instructors, they also have worked hard to create a sense of belonging with a caring community vibe where it just feels good to be there every time you show up. Their engaged staff and instructors take care of you to ensure you get the best experience out of each class. The rest is up to you. Although COVID hit TORQ hard, they managed to pivot their operations during the pandemic and started offering virtual classes with a vast array of classes and instructors to choose from. That is still ongoing and now they are offering outdoor classes under a newly constructed roof, complete with a misting spray to help cool you down. Amazing! Just remember, it never gets easier taking on a TORQ spin class - the experience only gets better! Highly recommend trying TORQ out!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been spinning for years and have missed it so much during Covid, waiting for Mayfair to open, I decided to give Torq Ride a shot with their outdoor classes and I was blown away. Amazing energy, excellent tunes and friendly and open staff. Love love love. It’s a five minute walk from my house to boot, what took me so long. Highly recommend.

Expérience fantastique: I started with Torq Ride several months ago when I purchased a Kaiser Bike. I had been going to indoor cycling classes at a nearby fitness facility for a few years and realized I missed the workout during lock downs. I looked around at a number of indoor cycle studios/apps (including Peloton). Torq allowed me to "test drive" one of their virtual classes and I was hooked. I like the variety of classes offered by a great set of instructors. The classes are very challenging making for a great workout! I just hope that they will continue with the virtual classes once we are through the pandemic as I do not live in Toronto....

Expérience fantastique: Took the outdoor class on Friday, November 6th, at 12pm and it was great! The weather was perfect, the music was awesome and the ride was hard. I biked to the studio and had to walk back as my legs were jello :) Hope to be back once the indoor classes will be permitted.

Expérience fantastique: The best!!! It's always a bit nerve wracking (for me at least) going to a new studio, but I was instantly put at ease by Cheryl's warm greeting. Glenn spent time making sure I was set up on the bike, and went over everything thoroughly. The class was fun, and the energy was high even with the slight rain showers. I can't wait to go back for my next class! So grateful to have found Torq.

There's something special about this place; the vibes are chill, the atmosphere is welcoming and the classes are challenging and rewarding. The instructors pour their hearts into each class, regardless of class size and time of day. Oh, and did I mention you get results. This place has made me a stronger, faster cyclist. Can't recommend this place enough.

No dancing on the bike. No superfluous hand-weight exercises. Just a great, deep ride. Great veteran instructors. Excellent, sharp atmosphere. Sturdy, state-of-the-art Stages bikes that can handle all of the watts you pump into them. Unlike most other studios, Torq's devotion to the optimal ride caters to both males and females who are serious about getting a great workout. The future of indoor cycling. Especially like the endurance and performance zone rides, really help me get faster & stronger. Love Torq!

Receiving the metrics by email after the ride is a huge bonus as well as being able to track on their website. I really appreciate the perks like towel service and having great showers with lots of hot water is a huge plus for me.

The ride metrics displayed on the bike and post-ride e-mail really help to motivate me and to observe my progress with each ride. The classes are fun and challenging. Every instructor is motivating and helpful, but they still each have their own personality/vibe, that you can find an instructor that matches your ride style.
